A very good bra, although the center front could be lower. If I have to bend over, they'll poke into my chest. The shape this bra gives is an upfront and center perky, my DH says it's positively wicked nice. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The bra is sturdy, so the support is good. Doesn't stretch out with wear and the lace is solid but not scratchy. Nice colour (wine red/graphite).
*** Edit: I ordered another one of these and hey presto - no poking anywhere! The older bra's wires seem to sit further up in the front and lower under the arms than the new one's. The difference is 7 mm or so, but it counts.
It was my first bra that I fitted myself through online shopping and thanks to which I really got to know my size. Lace is very kind to the bust, especially asymmetrical and less firm. Perfectly adheres to the body and emphasizes the neckline. The quality is brilliant. The lace is of the highest quality. The tube material is flexible but stable. I was captivated by details such as, for example, the gold finish of the hooks instead of the standard metal painted in the color of the material. The band seems flexible enough to me, but still stable, that I have it both in size 32H and 34GG in a different color and both fit well and I feel comfortable in both. In total, I have 3 Millie bras: black and white, size 32H and forest green, size 34GG. This is my favorite bra so far. Generally, most bras bite and hurt me, but this one is reasonably comfortable. My bust is heavy, low set and a bit hanging, full on top.
*MY INFO* Jun 17, 2020 - 32GG(recommended by abrathatfits calculator) - narrow, short root - projected - slightly full on top - center fullness - close-set
*REVIEW*
- BAND: true to size. My underbust is about 83~85cm so 32band is little tight for me, this bra is the same. The fabric is soft. never itchy. very very good.
- CUP: padded cup, super shallow. I noticed this bra has 4-piece vertical seam, thought this will be shallow. So I got 1 size up but it makes quad boobs a little. 32HH may be better for me yet quading is not that annoying so this is my favorite go-to bra.
- DESIGN: low-gore plunge bra. I have short root, close set so high-gore makes clear red marks on my sternum. The half-moon-shaped ornament on the center is also good. I love this bra.
I adore the Bravissimo Dotty Spot Bra (AU08) the shape is rather pointy which could be a put off for some people but not me, it's slightly vintagey in my eyes. The fit is spot on this time too, when I first tried this model it was off in places, but that could have been my breast shape and not the bra, but the slight change I've encountered recently in shape and size makes this perfect for my boobs. It's soft, satiny and comfy, the straps are nice and thick, and the big reason I chose to get this over a couple of other bras that fit well was the colour, red is my favourite and I love the polka dots, it's cute and girly yet once I get the matching pants I still think it will be considered quite sexy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
I like this bra. Overall it is fairly well made and I could see this becoming a favorite.
One of the things I don't like about this bra is how the wire is a lot shorter than the wire casing. There is a whole inch of empty fabric at the wire casing near my armpit. This (for some reason) causes me a lot of poking during the day. Additionally, the cups were slightly too small and cut in a bit at the top. This is actually one of my first bras where I haven't noticed too much wrinkling at the bottom of the cups!
Definitely a sturdy bra. I will definitely be trying this one again in one cup size up. I only hope the wire fills out the channel a bit more.
I am VERY close set and love that this bra tacks completely without catching any breast tissue due to its deep plunge. It also generally holds my breasts in despite this deep plunge. I do find that I occasionally feel like I need to adjust to tuck my boob back in. The cups are also not quite wide enough to hold all my breast tissue, but it doesn’t hurt when I wear it.
Very comfortable and also beautiful. The stretch lace on the top of the cups is forgiving to breast fluctuations. Soft material, except for something itchy at the clasp. Doesn’t hurt after wearing all day though, generally speaking. And it’s a stunning midnight blue lace.
I have this size in the "navy floral" pattern. If I were giving it stars, I'd give it 8.5 stars out of 10. I am not a particular fan of offsetting, contrary lace that manufacturers are using to set off cups made in another pattern/colorway. The blue floral body of the bra is gorgeous and soft. The lace at the top of the cups would probably cut into a very FOT shape (I am FOB, slightly pendulous, center full-ish). The cups might gape for someone who is very pendulous as well. On me though, it's a very lovely shape. The comfort is quite good; I worried that ...the underwires would cut into my IMF and my ribs, but no such problem. The 32 band is a perfect fit and has stayed put, gore tacks without cutting into me. One caveat: the straps are a little wide and could cut into armpits if that's a usual problem for you. They are just on the edge of okay; any more into my armpit and they would actually hurt. To sum: comfortable for long-wearing; pretty; nice round, forward shape (with caveats above). This is a foam bra, with some shaping from seams, sewn into a sleeveless top. I ordered both this and the unpadded strappy top at the same time and rather to my surprise, the foam version isn't as supportive as the unlined one. There isn't a lot of weight on the straps, but more than with the unpadded bra top and the straps are a little thinner, so it's less comfortable. The wires aren't too wide, which is good for me but the wires can't get high enough into my IMF and the cups cut in at the top too - I think this bra is designed for shallower breasts. There are only 2 hooks which may be an advantage for some people but I don't like it. However, the top doesn't look bad when on, I like the deep pink colour, and it was down to £18 in Bravissimo's sale, so I'm keeping it.
This is a sleeveless top with an unlined bra sewn into it. It works better than I expected. I think I need bras with a good deal of projection at the wire, and this bra doesn't have enough meaning the wires stay a finger width too low, but this is true for me in a variety of bras. The support is pretty good nonetheless. I was surprised to find I could push the straps off my shoulders without losing much support. The straps are fully adjustable and not massively thick but thick enough to be comfortable. The bra has 3 hooks which is what I'm used to.There is ...an extra layer of orange fabric in between the bra cups and the top itself - I don't know if that's actually useful, but it isn't a problem. I bought a 32H and a 30HH might have been better, but it was on sale. The full price of £34 seems to me a lot for a top but if this one stands up to a number of wearings without damage, I might buy another colour even at full price. Read more 80 more words
This bra is very comfortable and has plenty of projection, I fill out the cups completely with minimal wrinkling. There is a few wrinkles in the bottom of the cup where I have a bit of trouble filling, but I expect this to go away over time.
The band is comfortable on the loosest hook, I expect this bra to stretch out over time, so start on the last hook and work your way tighter.
The center gore is very close set, so this works well for me. The underwire width is what I would consider on the narrower side of average.
The print is absolutely wonderful. I love the watercolor effect with the embroidered lace. It's a peachy pink more than rose pink, maybe a bit less orange than a coral.
The only con so far is that the trim along the bottom of the cup wants to roll in. That's to be expected however, as it's hard to keep it straight without adjustment.
This bra is a second-generation Inspire, released in 2013. It is supposed to be the same as the original Inspire but with the slider on the straps corrected.
This particular bra fit well in the cups but was far too tight for me in the band. I thought it might fit because the 36G I tried earlier was loose even on the tightest hook, but the 34GG fit well in the end on the loosest hook. I am returning this bra.
This bra is super cute! Too small in the cups for me (I've re-ordered it in a 32J though https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> ). I loved the shape this bra gave me - nice and rounded. Definitely more suited for a balanced or full on top shape.
This bra... is a conundrum. First off, I get enormous wrinkling at the bottom. It is insanely noticeable. No quadraboob though. Yay? I guess my boobs are a bit too close for the center gore, so it doesn't want to lay flat.
I'd say this is about as opposite to an Ewa bra as you can get! It does a pretty good job of smashing my breasts flat to my chest. Not a bad thing at all, in fact I have been wanting a bra that fits properly like that.
The fabric on this bra is a dream! Seriously, I wish all my bras had amazingly soft fabric like this one!
I am kinda tempted to keep it even though there is so much wrinkling at the bottom and the gore doesn't lay flat. Other than those problems and the fact that it feels like it is lacking a bit in the support department, I am just so tempted to like it.
Great shape--combination of rounded and uplifted-- and fit. However, the fabric does abrade the skin after a long day of wear. Originally bought during pregnancy; wore through and then after for several months. Worked for breastfeeding (pull down cup, slip strap over shoulder).
