Since my old Bravissimo bras felt a bit big in my usual size (34L) and I also lost a few pounds I decided to size down. It was a mistake. I should not have sized down in the band. I cannot fasten it, and with the extender it still feels too tight. The band does only stretch 1 cm wider than my break-the -ape underbust measurement which is about 31 Inch / 79cm. It is also quite a bit smaller and less stretchier than the band of my 32K Panache Tango. (which fits me) So beware and size up in band in this bra, if you are between sizes. ...
The cups are a decent fit as far as I could wear the bra for a few minutes with the extender. The gore lies as flat as possible on my close-set boobs, there is no empty space in the cups. The straps don't fit properly and are not at the right position because of the too small band.
The shape this bra gives me is amazing. It's a front and center shape but not too projected that it feels unsupportive. The shape from the side is very rounded and from the front my boobs are not too "east-west". The cups are deep, average width for the size range and quite tall which helps to keep my big and soft boobs firm to my chest. I really recommended this bra for bigger deep and rather narrow boobs that need lots of support.
The straps are fully adjustable which is a plus. The print … yeah it's a bit darker than I expected from the photo but it's okay I guess. I'd like this bra to come also in solid colors as I prefer it's shape and construction over the Alana.
As this bra does not fit me, I will return this and exchange it for an 34KK.
Have you tried EWa's FB? Can you compare? I"m mostly wearing FBs now and some Tangos
No, I haven't tried them. A few years ago I tried some polish bras but none worked for me. They were too narrow and projected and not enough support. Tango is a great bra but I don't like the wider east-west shape. I think it makes me look a bit bigger in the upper body than the Bravissimo ones.
The FB is a totally different bra. I bought my first one because someone had bought one way too small and she was in a bind, coudlnt afford to return it - i was so shocked. It was the most comfortable bra i'd ever worn. I never needed to adjust it during the day. I bought two more - they arent exactly as perfect but pretty damn close
Don't like the material, quite coarse. The under wire seems to stretch wider with the band so ends up far too wide and far around my back which causes it to dig into the edges of my ribcage and then the gore lifts. Maybe a 34L wouldn't stretch the wires so much but then again I'd have wider wires then.
Short review: I hate this bra. I hate how it looks more specifically. It performs similarly to an Elomi Caitlyn Underwire Side Support (8030) but worse overall in support. The band sizing seems ridiculously off (I could barely fasten the 32 but for some serious hand strength and I can wear 30s).
The only good thing is that the cups do seem like an L in size.
I just spotted this bra on Ebay and had to check for reviews. I'm a bit confused by the band measurements, it sounds more like a 28 band! Did you buy it from Bravissimo directly? Is it possible that it was mislabelled?
I bought it from Bravissimo directly but the band seemed SO short that I wonder if it wasn't just a mess up somewhere. It almost seemed like part of the band was really short (look at the left side in the picture in the review, it was so short on one side). I would hazard a guess that it was not intended to be so short, because I could barely fasten it at all. I'll also add that I'm terrible at stretched band measurements and have stopped doing them.
So I noticed with my recent Bravissimo trials that many of their bands run a bit smaller than one expects besides on the Alana. (Okay I tried like 3 bras, but I found the Boudoir Beau and the Floral Haze to be surprisingly tight) I really think it's a good thing with the tight bands, more options for those at the end of the size range. But... 28inch on a 32 band? That is quite crazy.
Normally, I'd say their bands and cups (except for the non-balconette cups) run only about one size down, so idk if that was intentional or not.
I have a slight amount of gaping near the centre, which I believe is due to the bra being too close-set for me, while the straps go out too far. Other than this, it is a very good fit for me and a comfortable bra.
I was very excited to try this bra as it is one of Bravissimos few offerings up to a L-cup! (it's discontinued though ) Like all Bravissimo bras this one is very supportive and gives lots of lift. The band is a bit too small so I wear it with an extender. I usually wear a 34KK in Bravissimo. I find that their bands run a bit tight but stretch out quickly. The wires are rather good width for me, only slightly too wide. There is no poking under the arms. Sadly I get some pain from the wires under the boobs when I wear the bra for a full day, but that happens with all bras :/ With this one it is not that bad, so I think it is as good as it gets in that size range. The shape I get in this bra is quite round from the side. I think it is very similar to the Alana in terms of construction, support and shape.
