Pros: the gore is perfect for me! My breasts are close-set, so even with other plunges, the gore usually sits on a bit of tissue and hurts after a few hours. If I S&S really well, it doesn’t gap at the top. I love the shape it gives me! Cons: the wires are a bit too narrow, and definitely not the same shape as my IMF, causing wrinkling at the bottom of the cup. They get a little pinchy on my sides after a while. I had to S&S again a few more times during the day because some tissue kept escaping…although to be fair, I have to do this on the bras that fit me “good enough” as well. Ultimately, I decided to return the Niya bra because I don't think I'll be able to modify it enough to make it comfortable and a good fit.
I tried the 38FF - Bravissimo » Enya (LN856) bra because it has one of the lowest gores available, and I’m close-set, so even plunges often are too high and sit on my breast tissue. While this gore doesn’t sit on my breast tissue, the wire is so stiff that it digs painfully into my sternum. It doesn’t have enough side support or shaping for my wide roots/tissue shape either, and the vertical seam does not line up with my nipples. It would probably work more for someone with narrower roots. Surprisingly, this is the first bra I have found that actually follows my IMF without needing the underwire to be bent wider. For that reason, I’m bummed that this doesn’t work for me. Very sexy, but painful and not functional enough, so unfortunately, I have to return it.
This was the first bra I loved. Earlier this year, I bought my first set of bras that almost fit. Of these, the Melrose in Bloom was the most beautiful and most comfortable. It was never a perfect fit for me - the gore didn't tack, and the wires are too wide for me - but it's a wonderful bra. If you have a projected shape and average-width breasts that are slightly close-set, this is a spectacular option. Like many Bravissimo-branded bras, it also minimizes asymmetry an unbelievable amount.
I really like the cups of this bra. As long as I scoop into the bra once in a while, the center gore is fine but after a while if I'm working and unable to rescoop, the center gore digs in. I found that the band of the bra stretched out quickly and started off a little too big for me. If I were to get this bra again I would get a 36G. I think that if I got a better fit in the band I'd be able to stay in the cups better. I call this bra my pirate wench bra because it is shallow in the cups and gives me a good wench shelf look. It's my boyfriends favorite in look and I like the look a lot.
