The 32D - B.tempt'd By Wacoal » B.tempt'd By Wacoal Wink Worthy Con in the austral aura colorway is a deep purple t-shirt bra that does the job but manages to make my tall+wide rooted, averagely projected, even all over breasts look flat while doing it.
The seamless, underwired, and mesh-covered foam cups are shaped to create a sweetheart neckline. They are lightly padded in "typical" t-shirt bra fashion. The coverage under a t-shirt is smooth and yet somehow unflattering on me. The cups flatten me out almost as if the bra were too small (which is possible, but not obvious).
The front part of the band ... -- the part directly surrounding the cups -- is made out of scalloped eyelash lace layered on top of mesh lace, which adds a pretty detail to an otherwise utilitarian bra. The back of the band is double-layered mesh lace with elastic trim. It fits snug at first but stretches with wear. In the 32D, the band has a U-shaped back (great if you need extra support) as well as a 3-column, 2-row coated metal hook-and-eye closure.
The straps are fully adjustable, scalloped elastic, and have a slight sheen to them. There's a dainty bow detail that connects the straps to the cup. I found the straps to be perfectly comfortable.
All in all, I just can't deal with the flattening effect it has on me in a t-shirt, and it isn't "special" enough to keep otherwise. I imagine it's a shape mismatch causing the confusion. I have tall+wide roots, average projection, and even all over breasts. If someone had round, full-on-bottom, east/west breasts, I'd recommend this to them in a second though -- especially if they didn't mind having to break it in.

This was a $4 bra bought “used” with tag still on it, is a full size above “normal” for me, based on other reviews of wacoal and B.tempt’d I gave it a shot since my impression was cups AND band run small. A quick trial in fitting room I thought it fit, standing up straight and trying to hurry. Now I’m actually wearing (about an hour in as I’m writing) the cups are too large but Not in my opinion a full size too big, part of it is my shape versus bra shape I think. I’m full and round on the bottom, on top top is short ... and flat. Balconette style Demi bras “fit” best on my breast, but so far I hate them they don’t cover enough boob.
The band fits on the tightest hook, which means a 30 should fit me on loosest hook, which is likely what I will do when I order wacoal because of everyone who says the band stretches out fast. Oh my god this band is comfortable and what underwire? Because I can’t even feel it. My straps are not original to this bra, they suck and are crazy long.
Shape looks weird looking down, not quite sure why/how, looks fine in mirror though. Wide set straps in front are probably going to end up annoying me.
UPDATE; the wires dig in at front on me, wide set straps are fine though.

The cups on this bra have a weird shape, which is resulting in quad boob. It's not that the cups themselves are too far apart, it's the fact that as you go from the "nipple" portion to the inner sides of the cups, it has a sharper curve. So it gives a weird shape in addition to cutting in. If it had more of a rounded curvature to that part, the cups would fit pretty well. My only other problem with this bra is that there's virtually no give to the band; my tight fit is 27" & comfy is 28", this thing is 26.5" baseline and only ... stretches (which takes effort) to 28". I feel like I would fit this bra better as a 34C, as there would be more options for a better ribcage fit.
Also, I'd like to note that the measurements were taken fresh out of the mailbox. So if you wonder why my stretched-band measurement is so much less than others, that might be why. I imagine theirs were measured after some wear. I see reviews and measurements saying that the band stretches out super fast, and people have had to go from the loosest hook to the tightest within a couple weeks of wear. So if that's the case, and you were to order this bra, I'd say look into buying a band size smaller in anticipation of stretching. But on the other hand, I could barely hook a 32 in this bra, so I can't imagine being able to hook a 30; I'd have to stretch it by hand first instead of through wearing.

Super cute! I found that the 32D with the padding removed fit better than the 32DD with the pads added, probably because I'm full on the bottom. Has a nice, forward shape- I look skinnier wearing this bra than any other bra I own.

Very pretty but this is completely the wrong size. I unfortunately bought this when I was too intimidated to ask a saleswoman for my actual size. Anyway, the only real fit issue is the band size being way too big. The lace on the sides is beautiful, I really wish Wacoal made 28 bands. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

Compared to the 32DD the cups have less projection and the gore doesn't sit flat. I like how the wing is lower on the 32D but there isn't enough room in the cups unfortunately. That's a shame because the cotton blend is a nice change from all synthetic material. Also, the straps are thinner on the 32D which is a negative for me as it feels less supportive. I appear to be in-between sizes on this one.

oof ouch owie my sternum!!!!
STRAPS; i don't know if it's the very very silky fabric used for the straps, my bad posture, or WHAT but if they DON'T feel like they're digging in at the tops they're falling off. they're too far apart also again, digging RIGHT into my armpit even more than my first 30dd, starting to think i just have narrow shoulders >_<
UNDERWIRES; the outer edges do technically go onto my breast tissue unless i JUST scoop and swooped (my boobs tend to swim in this bra, more in cups section), but for some reason it's not uncomfortable at all? so i think it's wide enough ... it's just all the OTHER issues that get in the way? could afford to be very slightly wider though, the bottom underwire is fine no issues past me not knowing where to put my bra, the GORE. HOO BOY. i fold up toilet paper to put in the gore to cushion it's so uncomfortable. if i didn't know i can't handle tall gores before i know now!!!! also the gore is wide enough it goes on my breast tissue but again, it doesn't hurt? or if it does i can't tell over how much the underwire is attacking my sternum lol
CUP; not sure? i'm almost certain it's too projected for me, right after scoop and swooping and with shoulders back/sticking chest out my bigger boob fits it just about perfectly with only some gapping right next to the gore and not filling the very bottom at all, my smaller boob doesnt.... take into it as much as my bigger one does? if i slouch EVEN SLIGHTLY/am not sticking my chest out there's gaping at the top on both, if i have my normal posture you could see my nipples if the top wasnt so closed. i think this cup is ultimately just too tall for me and too projected(??? i can fill it when i'm sticking my chest out fine and the weird vertical-pointiness fits my poofy nipples well i guess? but bras are probably not supposed to be sized to your nipple so). also yeah if you're looking for a rounded soft appearance this isn't the bra for you it makes my boobs look perky and bigger as a result of that but the lacy fabric on the outside isn't sewn to the padding and has a big vertical seam right over the nipple that sticks out a good amount and makes your boobs look pointy/kinda like you arent wearing a bra (or at least not a padded one), so that's interesting. not really a problem for me as i like a pointier boob look but i'm not sure i like it when mixed with perkiness
BAND; too loose! i decided to try a bra in the "fits 30 inch ribcage" section, this one is 30.2 which sounded perfect cause i'm bony so a looser band sounds good... but my snug underbust is 29.5 inches. on loosest hook if i pull my arms up it goes on my boobs not a lot but like, a centimeter or two higher than i'd usually put it, it feels like my boobs are falling through/not being supported even if i dont do that, it's to the point when i want actual support i go to the middle hook (it has 3) and then it's pretty okay? it still feels a little roomy for my boobs in the cup which is probably due to the tallness and when i pull my arms up it still goes up Slightly, but it's okay, not uncomfortable either at least comfortable compared to the Gore Of Death. with the backwards-and-upside-down trick on loosest hook it is falling down LOADS in the back AND uncomfortable/chafing? middle hook stays in place better but it's hard to tell anything else cause of the chafing(?) and also oof ouch owie the squeezing.
WHAT I LEARNED; tall gores are unbearable for me, maybe 29.5-30 inches exactly is a better band measurement for me, non-shallow bras are gonna make me sad, i love padding!!! please hide my nipples thank you!!! i need shorter/opener bras in general, underwire might just always be uncomfortable for me?? impulse buying the first bra i see on sale is...a learning experience for sure, but i want /comfortable/ bras now. don't try to put on a brand new bra with even slightly wet nails lol!!

This bra has a band that feels tighter than others, probably because it stretches less. The cup size works well because it is more of a half cup so covers my bottom nicely without gapping too much on top. This was the bra that made me realize I am very FOB. One downside is I can really feel the band constricting my ribcage. I have only worn it 3-4 times so maybe I can either get used to this kind of fit or get a non-stretchy bra extender. It is not my most comfortable bra but I love the way it makes me feel and I love the lace.

The clasps for this bra are off to the left side, not in the back. Clearly whoever designed this bra must have intended all of its wearers to be right-handed. I am left-handed and it is such a struggle to put this bra on and off.
Most strapless bras draw attention to some of the sagginess that I have and make me look flatter. I was hoping that the thicker band on this strapless bra would give me more support, but unfortunately, I still have some of these issues. The thicker band does mean that the bra isn't sliding around constantly though.

I liked how this bra doesn't have much coverage at the top, but the lace shows under shirts and the bra is not smooth. Wires are too narrow for me and it just was not the most comfortable bra.

I couldn't find measurements for this bra, so I ordered based on my Ciao Bella balconette, since that one still fits well (I've put on about 12lb since I bought that & rarely wore it, only because the straps were too wide). That one was also a 32D, currently comfy on the loosest set of hooks, with the unstretched length being 26" (broke in just a hair from the few times I wore it). Being that it's strapless, I didn't want to do a 30D like my favorite bra, and I didn't want to do a 32C because of the weight gain (worried the cup would be too ... small). So that's everything that made me go with 32D. It showed up, I tried it on, and the weight of them is causing this uncomfortable bulge under the band...because the weight pushes the skin & fat down when the bra sits where it should. If I put the straps on to support some of the weight, then it's perfectly fine, no bulging. My Ciao Bella is doing the same thing right now if I drop the straps off my shoulders. So I know it's not the bra itself. It's just the extra fat over my ribcage that's the issue, which really just means that strapless bras aren't for me right now, & I'll have to figure out a way to use the included straps so that they follow the shoulder straps on the dress. Or I can go strapless & just suffer the entire time anytime I use it. My biggest pet peeve with this bra is where the hooks are. Being on the side is impossible to latch. Trying to latch it spun around to the front makes it a pain to spin it back around to the right position & then slide it up to the right spot. I've never owned a strapless, so maybe that's just the optimal spot for the closure.

This is a very comfortable bra. It's a bit shallow but the netting on top helps hide gaping and gives a bit more coverage, so it should fit most "average" shapes. The band does stretch a bit over time, so if you prefer it tight or are between sizes, you may want to size down in the band.

I am a shallow 30D with close set breasts, fuller on top than on bottom.
I knew getting this bra that the band was likely to be too wide for proper support, but this bra was reputed to run small in the cup and I couldn't find a 30DD cheaper than retail price, so I went for it anyway. It was pre-owned and showed it, so I had to bend the wires back into shape and cut off the destroyed center bow, but otherwise in good condition. The cup volume fits perfectly and the wing height is great, but unfortunately for me when I read all the ... reviews that said the gore was 1" wide, I didn't make note of the height of that gore. All of my other 1" width gores fit fine for my close breasts, but those are plunge bras. In a balconette with a high gore, I clearly need it even closer, because the wire sits on my breasts at the front and the center seam slides slightly to the left (although that much may also just be a small manufacturing error). For now, at least, the problem isn't irritating my skin and I don't have a lot of alternatives, so I'll keep it until I can get something better.
Positives: bra is soft, the lace disappears under clothes, and the shape and style is flattering.
Negatives: too much cup separation, straps a little too wide, band too stretchy for solid support.

I love the way this bra looks, unfortunately I had cup fit issues on the sides. It's fine if I stand up straight, but if I go to reach forward, the armpit side of the cup goes empty at the top. And although the lace overlay looks pretty, it's a bit tighter than the cup, so it cuts in some, whereas if it wasn't there, the cup would probably fit fine on the inner edges. The lace band is very stretchy, which makes for a comfy fit, while still not budging when I lift my arms and whatnot. I think the cup might just be a hair too narrow for me. And the lace overlay pushing/pulling the cup into certain shapes isn't helping (because it's not attached except at the underwire seam, and is a bit tighter than the cup).

This bra is super stretchy. The wires are easily bendable. The cup barely wrinkles on my left smaller breast. Great for hot summer days. More of a lighter orange than the photos.
**update: i had to narrow the gore for this to fit better, still a little too high and wide for me, but it is almost worn out so when i trash it, i will not be buying again.

I really like this bra because of the way it looks and its overall fit. I'm used to wrinkling in my cups because of my wide, shallow boobs, so the little bit of wrinkling at the top didn't bother me so much because it felt so comfortable. However, I'm returning it because those vertical lines on the outside look stupid under shirts.

Molded cups follow my shape closely as long as I stand or sit up straight, but lacks elasticity and will gap as I move around doing normal human things. I think the lace overlay was intended to offset that shortcoming of foam but can't apply sufficient counterweight.
While this bra fits acceptably now on the middle hook, the band is very stretchy and I have concerns about the longevity of fit as the elastic wears.
All other photos I can find of this bra show it to be more demi on other people while it looks nearly full coverage on me.

This bra is 99% perfect for me. The one thing that's a problem is that the straps are too far apart. This is causing the cup to distort a bit if I reach forward. I feel like if I could get this bra as a 30DD (thus bringing the straps in a bit), it would be the perfect fit. At that point the straps shouldn't dig in anymore, and the band would fit right too. It's comfy, it supports everything, and it looks nice on me. The push up effect is noticeable (in a more natural way). I really wish it had been available in a 30DD because I really did like the way it looked on me.
Just fyi, but the measurements I took of this bra were fresh out of the box, and with the push-up padding in. If you take the padding out you'll gain a small bit of cup depth (padding is about 0.25" thick). And with some breaking in, the band will probably stretch a bit more.

I absolutely love this bra. I put it on and it fit 99% perfect. My only thing with it was that I have to use the middle hooks because the band is so stretchy, so I might try a 30DD (instead of the 32D), to see if that helps. The fabric on the inside is super smooth, and although there's a seam there, it didn't bother me at all. The cups are one color, and the lace overlay is a different color. Same deal with the band; sheer blue behind cappuccino lattice/netted fabric.
Every part of this bra was comfortable, for me personally.
