My shape: soft, deflated, full on bottom with tall shallow top, measure to 36E
This is a beautiful bra. I got the vanilla, and the big pink bow with lace cups is so frilly and girly for those days that I want to feel extra pretty. This style is known to be very compatible for shallow breasts. The wires do not run too wide, and the apex is positioned well. The inside cup is soft cotton with one vertical seam. On paper, this is a perfect fit, but I feel insecure with the open tops. Sometimes, it feels like I might fall out or need to pull up the cups, but when I check everything is still in place. Also, the straps are fairly thin and split into two spaghetti-thin straps in front. The mesh band is stretchy but supportive.
This is a lovely and amazingly soft t-shirt bra in a wire free design. The coloring of this bra is gorgeous, in what amounts to a deep blue teal. Coverage is great. Everything from the wing height to the straps is good on me, aside from the sheer tightness of the band against my petite frame; that's likely due to the 20% Elastane.
Having now stretched that as far as it would go for the measuring process, I see that it will just barely reach what would be my snug rib measurement of 37.5 inches. That likely accounts for the discomfort. For anyone reading this, I would advise you to possibly go up one sister size to get a more comfortable fit.
This is advertised as “revolutionary.” Uh...that is a definite misrepresentation, but this wireless option does offer some comfort-inducing features.
Non-adjustable, .5” wide, stretch straps. No metal sliders which is fantastic for those allergic to metals, but for the rest of us, not so much. Yikes. If you are outside “normal,” prepare to alter these straps. They measure 11.3” unstretched and 16.5” fully stretched. If these are the perfect length, you will be happy. The petite/high-set and tall/low-set among us will be disappointed.
The band material is luxuriously soft and should provide comfortable support on a 34”-ish underbust as the band stretches to just 34”. It fastens with typical 2x3 ...fasteners. I adore wide elastic bands because several I’ve had in the past remain supportive after intense amounts of wearing. This bra, however, feels like it may loose its band elasticity quickly. Time will tell.
The foam cups create a very round profile under thin knits. And, despite my breasts quickly slipping under the too large band, the profile remained round. In or out of the cups, the foam maintains its shape. Although this is a molded foam cup, it is not a push-up bra. In my size, I’m grateful for this nipple-hiding, thin foam.
Because the band is designed for a rib cage 10” greater than mine, it is likely I will overspill the cups once the band is altered and my breasts are lifted. And, the non-adjustable straps will need an alteration, too. So, this is traveling back to the manufacturer. Read more 141 more words
