I really like this bra. I weighed about 50lbs less when I first bought this style, & it fit wonderfully. Now that I've gained weight, it occasionally digs in at the bottom sides, under my arms (this is with a larger size). But, I think most any bra will do that because of my "rolls." Like any bra, the band does stretch out after a while, but I just buy it to fit on the loosest hook, then tighten it as it stretches. This allows me to extend the time it fits. With this method, I can get about 18-24 mos out of it ...before it's "downgraded" to a "yard work" bra. (I have several of these that I rotate, so each bra is usually only worn 2-3x per week, for about 18hrs at a time.)
It's neither hot, not cool. Although, I will sometimes get "boob sweat" when I've been running around a lot. (But, this happens with or without a bra! 😛LOL!)
Although there are 2 seams in the cups, & it's made our of lace, the pattern doesn't show thru under MOST cotton shirts. It will show under thin, silky like tops.
The cup lace is lined with a stretchy, thin, silky material (similar to a pair of panties). That keeps the lace from being scratchy. Which is a major problem for me with a lot of bras. I have very sensitive skin.
It will NOT conceal my "headlight." But, to be fair, I have particularly erect nipples that you can see even thru padded, molded cups. So, I've just learned to deal with it. (I think only a bandaid would fix the issue for me.)
It's a good quality bra. I haven't had a strap break, or wires pop out like I have in other bras (even by Cacique). My only complaint is that the lace becomes "dingy" easily. I wear black scrubs at work, so nearly all of my bras now have a dingy appearance over the entire bra, but especially concentrated near the side & underarm areas where it gets the warmest. But, it even picks up a little dinginess on the back straps. - This makes my bras look "old & dirty" WAY before they're actually old & dirty. I can't seem to find a way to wash it out, either. (I've tried Shout, Hot Shot, degreasers, pouring Tide directly on it & allowing it to sit.) Read more 315 more words
If you were interested in some extra coverage, there are a variety of nipple covers out there that you could maybe get okay results from with a padded bra? I owned a pair in silicone that was beige and worked well in unlined bras, but I didn't have the nipple situation you do so I can't vouch for it :)

Padded bra with some under padded lift. One of the few low cut bras I haven't fallen out of. Bought a couple years ago before I had any clue about what size to buy.
For being completely the wrong cup size and creating quad boob out the wazoo when I scoop, it's not that uncomfortable. Since I have fullness on the bottom, I'm able to migrate some of the extra flesh to the top of the bra to mitigate the quad boob.
I've had this bra way too long and it's stretched out so it's lost quite a bit of its support and the band has a tendency to ride up.
this bra runs hilariously small compared to the other cacique t shirt bras, which seems odd in that the only difference is supposed to be in appearance. the DDD was a usually a bit small, but this fit like a D, maybe. the only good thing about it is the straps, the only reason i stuck with Cacique Cotton T-shirt Bra (53465) for so long. it can convert to a racerback, so i could move the hooks to keep the straps closer together, straps never slipped again, used to be a huge problem.
Th foam edge on the cups rolls up so the outline f the cup is clearly visible under your clothes. The bra is cut too high under the arms and the straps are very far apart.
I bought a couple of these when Lane Bryant had one of their frequent sales. The bras are generally pretty comfortable for large sizes and the shape they give you is fairly conservative and innocuous, which makes them good for work. They are fine for most t-shirts, unless they are too thin or see-through. However, these make me feel a bit dowdy. Generally I prefer bras that provide more lift and are less wide set.
This bra is incredibly uncomfortable because it is just too small. It is a larger cup size than my other bra of the same brand, but it is much smaller in both the band and the cup. It also has the uncomfortable band supports that did into your sides.
This bra was not my size. I don't have much to say about it outside of what I already said about this bra in the 42DD size: band runs firm, cups are narrow, and in the right size you may have problems if your tissue extends to your collarbone.
I purchased this bra before understanding my real size, and adored the low cut and the lace band. Unfortunately it wasn't all that comfortable just because of how small it was for me. I was constantly spilling out of it all over the place, which is understandable to me now that I know it was four cups too small and on a band two sizes too big.
The cups are molded and the material is very nice and soft. The straps actually detach in the back and can be reattached to any of several loops along the band to make them narrower or wider set. This was awesome for ...my narrow shoulders and I knew another person who clipped the two straps together behind her neck to make a halter style out of it.
I don't think that the cup shape is very accommodating or natural; it's very spherical and angular while the gore is quite small and concerning. The design of the cups all around is sort of cartoonish and idealistic; nobody has boobs shaped like this especially in this size. But if you have soft breasts it can work okay and it might be a close fit for someone with very firm round breasts as well. The wire width, though, would be problematic for most plus size women as there's almost no way side tissue would be scoopable into cups proportioned like this.
The lace on the band is atop a beige mesh which makes it much stronger than it looks while still having a sexy faux-transparency.
I was sized into this bra by Lane Bryant, so obviously it was not my size at all. Way too small in the cups, way too big in the band.
The bra got a lot of wear for between 6 and 9 months before I had the sense to try larger cup sizes against the advice of several Lane Bryant sales associates. It held up okay to machine washing, but tugging the cups back on the sides to hold all of my breast tissue has slightly torn the gore away from the underwire channel on the right side over time.
Like all of my Cacique bras, the band stretched significantly ...after the first handful of wears. Like, if it was really tight when I took it home it was falling off of me by the end of the week.
Not a terrible bra, but it isn't really shaped for the women who would fit into it. The wings are too low and allow tissue spillage while the cups are quite narrow. Women who wear a 40 band but have only a DDD chest are simply not going to be able to put all of their side tissue into cups like this. They are situated too narrowly on the very front of the chest.
Due to their consistent low quality materials and poor design I can't at all recommend Cacique bras in general, especially at the prices charged in most stores for them. But, if you happen to like Cacique for some reason, this isn't a terrible bra. Just don't expect it to last you very long unless you are very very gentle with it. Read more 162 more words
Well, let me start off with saying that my left breast is about a cup or so smaller than my right breast. That being said, I have only recently seen the light and started buying bras that fit my right breast rather than my left. I usually buy an F cup in Lane Bryant bras (I really should buy a G but the gaping on my small side always stops me) but this bra doesn't go that large so I went down a cup and up a band size. Well, the cup is too small on my larger side and I am falling out in the front and the underwire is poking me in the side and on my smaller side I have some gaping (of course). All in all, I look like I have 3 breasts instead of two. One on each side and one in the middle (due to the fact that I am falling bulging out in the middle). I guess if I could order it in a size larger I could at least stop bulging.
I was very happy to find a plunge style that was cute and comfortable. I bought it in three colors, and I'm very pleased with the fit and the shape it gives. Plus, I got a great deal on them!
I wanted to add that the band has stretched significantly. I currently wear them on the tightest hook and they are still a bit too loose. I beleive a 40 was probably too big to begin with, I've purchased another Cacique in 38 and it fits a lot better. I still like these bras, but the band stretches out very quickly!
