This is a wired, full coverage, seam-free (across the nipple) nursing bra. Very smooth under a T-shirt. The retaining straps (the parts that keep the bra in place when the drop cup has been opened for a feeding) are made of a soft cotton knit.
The cup is made from a thin neoprene-like fabric, which has several advantages:
* Creates a semi-molded cup -- more than just lined, but not as thick as padded -- which is lovely for hiding the pointy nipples (and lumpy breast pads) that often accompany breastfeeding.
* Cup has some stretch - a very nice feature when breasts can change 1-2 cup sizes in a few hours.
* Cup is slightly absorbent -- enough to keep your shirt dry when you leak a few drops.

This bra does actually have wires. Yes, the cups usually run large.
