Cake Lingerie is a maternity underwear brand notable for offering UNDERWIRE nursing bras that can at least attempt to support a full, more pendulous bust.
Since its launch, Cake has simplified its aesthetic, defaulting to plainer colors and styles reminiscent of sports/athleisure/bralette bras.
Whether specialty maternity/nursing UW bras are worth their ~$60 specialty brand price point is debatable, since practically all Polish bra brands offer beautiful, underwired nursing bras as part of their core collections.
Because the Poles understand that boobs may need support + functionality + non-frumpy style, bless their hearts!
So I'd recommend Polish offerings as a first choice, provided you can tolerate narrower, FIRM UNDERWIRES while ... pregnant/nursing.
Where Cake Lingerie and Hotmilk come in is offering nylon/plastic FlexiWires - SOFT UNDERWIRES - which are less supportive but more comfortable for sensitive nursing parents as well as lounging or sleeping.
Besides being softer and therefore wider-spread, FlexiWires also CREAK but I do think FlexiWires are a useful option to have on the bra market.
The 3 hook row by 6 column band closure typical for the brand means that the band can accomodate a 1.5-2 band size increase which accomodates weight fluctuations and functionally extends the Cake Lingerie's band range, as the AU 16/ US 38 stretches to about US 42
I bought 16F - Cake Lingerie » Velvet Delight Balconette as a pretty lounging/sleeping bra after it was discontinued.
16F = 38:7 and the bra fully contains my breasts for a full coverage neckline, the soft wires don't fully separate the breasts or tack at the gore.
There is FlexiWire side boning which seems unnecessary.
The periwinkle blue with matching lace overlay is quite pretty
I expect regular wear and frequent washing to fade the color and pill the lace so this model is less fit to be a workhorse lounging or nursing bra.
I use and enjoy it as lounging/traveling lingerie while glamping, on high-end trips or romantic vacations

This is my second bra from Cake Lingerie and the first that fits me well. I'm discovering that pretty nursing bras are hard to come by so I am excited about this one!

Initial impressions: The inner cup lining is a super soft t-shirt like material that I love. The flexible underwire is a little squeaky. The lace on the straps is a touch itchy but not bad.

I ordered a larger band than I really needed (got a 38 but measure at a 34) because my last 32 from Cake was way, way too small even with extenders. The band fits snugly on the tightest hook. Next time I'm going to try a 36.

I ordered a G cup but could have gone with an H. The cups fit my breast tissue well except for a little bit of quadboob on the fuller breast. The gore doesn't sit flat against my sternum so I should probably size at least a cup up next time.

Overall, I really like this bra!
