Full disclosure: this bra does not fit me. This will exacerbate all of my complaints, as even well-fitted strapless bras can be difficult to get along with.
I really avoid wearing this. Even in strapless dresses, I sometimes cheat and use a cardigan or just let my straps show rather than wear this bra underneath. It's not out-and-out painful, but it's sort of scratchy and is not a bra that lets you forget about it. I am very conscious of wearing this bra. And, since the 30 band is too large for me (I wear this on the tightest hook), the bra tends to slip down my torso throughout ...the day, the underwire leaving red marks about half an inch below my boobs. =(
Now, my fit issues aside, I have to imagine this would stay put pretty well on someone who had a 30 back. It has two strips of silicone, along the top and bottom edge of the band, to keep the bra in place. It is notably tighter than the average 30, as you'd expect of a strapless. And of course it's a Calvin Klein bra, meaning it's great quality and made out of lovely materials. One bummer is that the tag is not printed on the band (i.e. tagless), like in the other CKs I own, and I find that the tag is very itchy (and it curls easily!).
However, my biggest complaint about this bra is with the cups. Specifically, the outside of the cups are too smooth. If I'm wearing a strapless dress made out of cotton, spandex, or any other stretchy fabric, the bra causes it to slide down! These elastic dresses meant to stay up due to tension can't achieve the necessary conditions to avoid slipping. So while the bra works fine under fitted, zip-up dresses, it's a total no-go for your average strapless sundress.
Due to it's somewhat itchy qualities and incompatibility with stretchy tops/dresses, I'd only recommend this bra for wear under formal dresses. It's best when you wear it for five hours or less. Read more 233 more words
The cups fit my measurements perfectly, and the underwire is the perfect length. The band is a bit too big for me (I wish they made these in 28 band sizes), so I wear it on the tightest clasp. For a strapless bra, it is too bad it only has 2 hooks instead of 3, for extra support and security. I find it does slip a bit, and also sits low on the breasts due to the push-up style padding at the bottom half of the cups since it is a strapless and there are no straps to keep the cups sitting higher. My breasts tend to displace ...the bra and make it slide down, so it fits better in the actual space of the cup, rather than where the padding is (the point of a push-up bra is that the padding pushes your breast tissue up by displacing it). Not the best fitting strapless bra because of how low it ends up sitting after awhile. Maybe if I did have a 28 band though, this wouldn't happen? I also have a lot of flesh around the armpit area (I think because of my pectoral muscles rather than fat). The bra's cups cut into this flesh near my armpit, even though there is no quad boobing otherwise (see photos).

Great design, seems like it would stay on well as a strapless for those who are more full on bottom. Didn't work out for me due to a quad-boob effect and it's just a bit tad in the band.
I'm truly a 26DD, but Calvin Klein doesn't make 28 band sizes, so I got my sister size of 30C. It actually fits really well, the band is a little tight for a 30 and doesn't stretch too much. The underwire doesn't come up very far in the front which is good for me because otherwise it presses against my sternum. The lace at the top doesn't show very much through tight shirts, and doesn't itch! The bra is very comfortable and the cups give great support. The only problem for me would be that the top edge of the bra doesn't lay flat against my breast tissue, but i'm pretty sure that's more of a personal fit issue since i'm fuller on bottom. But this bra fits better than most others i've worn in that regard, so i'm not really going to dock off any points for that.
I got the strapless and it fits even tighter than the regular customized lift. I'm a 26DD too, but since I'm not too busty I've been content with the 28s so far (and this CK bra in a 30D).
This is very soft and comfortable. I am shallow with narrow roots and wide set breasts and it fits almost perfectly- just the elastic cuts into my larger breast slightly. It doesn’t do much in the way of giving any uplift or rounded shape but is great for around the house or under loose clothes
The band is really tight, as expected for a strapless bra. This bra is mostly comfortable, but I didn’t like how the cups fit and seemed to cut into my tail of Spence.
This is one of my favorite bras. It fits very close to perfect, with only slight quadboob on my left side and slight wrinkling along the upper seam of the cup on my right side. I love how cool and breathable it is when it’s hot out and the fact that doesn’t smash down my soft breast tissue, aside from a bit on the very top, where it has pretty firm elastic on the edge. I feel like it actually gives me a little projection, which is uncommon for me. I do wish that it gave me a little bit more modesty, as I don’t feel comfortable wearing it to grocery stores, where I might get chilly and over expose myself. The only thing I would really change about this bra is to replace the elastic along the cups opening with some thing more flexible, that would move with me and not give me quad boob.I’d love to find a similar shaped bra, but without the elastic at the opening.
This is not a bra for shallow girls. It's probably ok for wide set, but broad root spills out a little. The band is SUPER uncomfortable, though. It feels micro-stabby, and you'll also want to cut off the hundred labels flapping around. Make sure the one you get has the straps, for some reason not all come with them when ordered online. Too bad it didn't fit, because it matched my skin tone well.
It's a basic t-shirt bra, which is what I hoped for. Also, the fabric is super-soft, and the straps are covered in the same stuff.
I think it might fit best on the smallest hook, which is sad, but _you_ try finding 28D bras in any kind of basic style.
It fits remarkably well, given how wide-set my breasts are. The one day I wore it to work, though, the underwires started poking into my chest more than I liked. :-/ (this may have had more to do with hunger and bad posture and the existence of underwires than a flaw with the bra itself, so I reserve judgment until I've worn it a few more times.)
Tried this on in red at Nordstrom Rack and would have bought it if it weren't for two things:
- the straps don't adjust small enough and have very little stretch - band is a little too big (my underbust is 26.25, fyi)
I've found that CK bands don't stretch out much over time, so if I were to find this bra again really cheap, I would definitely consider buying it and altering the straps myself.
Otherwise, this is a great bra! Cups fit really well, gives a great lifted shape, the color is really beautiful and it's very supportive.
I love, love, love this bra. Granted, it's pretty padded and the cup shape is pretty rigid, but it gives great shape under all sorts of clothes, good cleavage and is still the most comfortable bra I own. I do wish it were a little less contoured -- at certain times of the month, I don't quite fill it out, which means that I get some gaping at the top of the cups if I sit a certain way. Not particularly sexy, appearance-wise and I've found the white gets pretty dingy looking but mine is ~4 years old at this point. This is a definite staple in my bra wardrobe and I'm definitely thinking about replacing it (but probably not in white).
I have shallow, even breasts. Typically I don't do great in plunges or push-ups.
This bra is not the right shape for my breasts. I'm typically a 30D and that did not fit my shape. The cups are too closed. I tried on a 30C and it works better, though the cup volume is too small.
My favorite basic t-shirt bra, got it in three colors (gray, black, beige/nude). Nice silky material. The underwires poked my sternum at first, but there is enough empty space in the underwire channel that you can slide the underwires back to be more comfortable. I have shallow breasts and the built-in padding at the bottom of the cup helps boost them up to a nice natural shape.
Feels too tight; the bottom curves of the underwires dig into my chest uncomfortably. Fit me when I got married almost 2 years ago, but now the cups are way too small––major overspill.
Hi! :) I don't want to sound creepy haha, but I recognized your boobs from your bra adventure (you have a birth mark in the middle of your chest) and I just want to remind you of the importance of adding pictures of yourself showing the back of the bra as well! :) When you're wearing it, that is. I remember when I was a new member here, I didn't add pictures of the back and I regret it now! When you're more of an experienced Bratabaser, seeing those old photos of how your previous bras fit you can be extremely helpful in terms of seeing the transition! :) I can tell from the pictures that the cups are too small for you in this bra, but I guess you already know :)
This bra must have the shortest band ever (shorter than my 28D Cleo Brooke). I always wore it with a long, stretchy extender. Because it is a multiway I was able to put the straps into a second set of eyelets in the back, the ones that are attached closer to the inside, and that way the bra was really comfortable and fit me well. I liked this - very lightly padded - bra so much that I've bought it again in my new size. (Well, I bought it in a 32C because of the short band and this fits like a 30D in other styles, I should say.) For a "nude" (for me) bra it is quite a nice shiny colour.
The bra fit me well as long as I was a 30C, and it seemed to work very well as a strapless. I say seemed, because I've never worn it (no occasions that called for a strapless bra). This is a push-up bra with non-removable cushions. The band is very tight and gives really good support, and the bra gave my boobs a good shape.
This bra fits great so far. I tried on a bunch of Calvin Klein 30C bras at Dillard's and they seemed to vary immensely in band tightness and cup size. This had the tightest band and stays in place really well (such a nice feeling after wearing 34A's my whole life!) I have a very very slight quad boob in this bra, but it's pretty negligible. This style of cup might not be the most flattering on me (think I will look for more of a balconette style for my next bra, but all things considered, I really love it!
