I just purchased this bra. My first assessment is that this bra fits good and comfortably.
The band fits snug, holding the bra in place while raising my arms and moving around. The wires sit nicely against my chest. I have not experienced any trouble with them digging into my chest yet. There is some minor quad boob effect on my left breast, due to its slightly larger size. However, the cup creates a smooth line on my right breast. One cup size larger was too big, so I settled for this fit. The only concern I may have is whether or not the wires will begin to dig into ...my chest.
Edit: After wearing the bra for 12+ hours, I have a couple complaints. My first complaint is that there is little to no padding around the wires. This causes me to notice and feel minor discomfort from the wires at times. I am very petite with little fat covering my rib-cage. As such, I have trouble with wires pushing into my ribs causing discomfort. This bra would be much more comfortable if so cushioning (not padding in the cups, but specifically around the wire itself) was added.
My second complaint is about the band. For me specifically, the 30 band fits fairly well, better than any bra I've owned before. Although, I can fit more than two fingers under the band when in the loosest position. I feel as though a 28DD/E would probably fit more snuggling and have less chance of moving around. However, after having the bra on for 12+ hours straight, the band started to cause discomfort due to its tightness. Since the elastic running through the band is two, or more, separate pieces, it causes pressure points under the elastic. I would like to note that if wore for fewer hours at a time, this may not be an issue. I feel this bra would be made more comfortable it the band was more of a solid piece, similar to that of the Maidenform Dream T-shirt Bra.
I hope my review was helpful! I look forward to posting more and learning more about finding a bra that fits! Read more 250 more words
Saskia_C , I just bought it today! I hope it works out nicely. It is so hard to find band sizes under 32-34 in the US!
its hard in the store, less hard on line
Saskia_C If you live in the United States, Nordstrom usually has 30D in Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein, and Natori. Dillard's has 30D in b.tempt'd. If you like your Calvin Klein bra, I suggest looking at Betsey Johnson, b.tempt'd and Aerie.
Saskia_C , thanks for the store suggestions. Unfortunately, the only store in my area is Dillard's, and they didn't carry much.
Calvin Klein 2892 gives nice cleavage and lift, and it is great that is it both seamless and tagless. I do wish the straps were a tiny bit wider for better support, because at just 3/8" wide, they feel a little thin. The lace gets itchy after wearing for a long time, so this is not really an all-day bra. I bought it for special occasions and am happy with it.
I'm very center full with narrow roots. I'm more full on bottom, but generally need non-shallow bras that are more open on top to accommodate my center fullness.
This bra is an awful fit for me, but it's a shape mismatch rather than a size issue. The wires of the cups are way too wide, causing a lot of discomfort over my ribs where the wire has to bend to wrap around my body. The elastic edge of the cups fits snug near the center, but I have empty space in the top of the cups near the straps. It would be better for someone with wider roots and ...more top fullness.
*Editing to add: I got this bra on clearance for super cheap, so can't return it. I wore it for a day at work, and the wires were soooo painful! Since they're too wide, it feels like the underwires are twisting to try and wrap around my ribcage, so the ends point inward into my body. I still have red marks and straight up bruises from the gore and the sides FIVE HOURS after taking it off. My ribs are still painful to the touch from where the wires dug in all day. Absolutely do NOT recommend for anyone with a narrow frame in general Read more 107 more words
This bra is very shallow for a 30D, even when compared to bras like the Natori Feathers known for being shallow. It's probably best for someone full on top.
Lightly padded with Soft fabric. The edge is tapered to give a nice seamless look. The straps are a little bit further apart than most. Overall a comfortable bra.
Good, comfortable bra. Doesn't move too much when I walk. I occasionally have to adjust the bra if I wear it too long or jump around too much. If I wear a tight shirt, the lining sometimes shows through. I'm full on bottom and have average projection if that helps. I really like this bra. If I lean over, it gives me a bit of quad boob though. That only shows through if I'm wearing a snug shirt.
I tried this bra on at Marshalls. Seeing a 30D in that store was a real shock, so I thought it might be a hidden gem. Unfortunately, it didn't work out.
The band feels ok for a 30D, but didn't feel secure enough to stay on snugly. This would be TTS for a conventional bra, but I need a tighter fit for strapless.
The cups technically fit me, but the shape of the cups is quite severely projected, and the top of the cups is quite closed off. There was no gapping or noticeable empty space, but I wanted the cups to be taller and have a gentler rounded appearance. The side profile of this was very unflattering.
Not a bra for shallow girls, though this is the right cup size. Wide set fits okay, but broad root spills out a little. Make sure you get your straps if you order online; mine were missing. This cup makes a skislope shape, and the band runs small and is quite prickly (I have sensitive skin, so I don't know if everyone feels like that).
I have shallow conical breasts that was measured at a 28DD. The band is quite firm on this bra as it feels relatively snug on my ribcage (27"). The cup is almost too small for my bigger breast but just fits. The straps also only partial adjust, so I am concerned about the straps being too long later on (they are about 3/4 tightened now).

I have shallow conical breasts that was measured at a 28DD. I also ordered this in 30DD and ended up going with that size. The band runs tight in this (as do many strapless bras), which is perfect for me since I have a 27" ribcage. After swooping and scooping, there was definitely some quadding on top (because of the push-up padding on the bottom). I didn't realize this bra would have as much padding since it was just described as a "lift". It is hard to get the underwires to sit in my IMF because of it. I like the convertible straps!
I thought this bra fit well, until I took a closer look. I have very soft tissue, so even though I didn't feel it, my nipple on my bigger side was being squished in. This fit my smaller shallower side well though. The band is pretty firm, and it lays pretty well under clothes since it is molded.
This looked good - like good quality, but it's way too closed at the top. I totally digs into my ToS - makes and thus makes a big quad lump - ugh. I'm tall and wide rooted. Since the cups are closed at the top, it felt like it was trying to push my breasts to give me cleavage, but the closedness at the top seemed to push them down and make my ToS into a huge lump over the top of the cup.
If you have tall roots do not by this bra. It's very closed at the top.
I got this bra via r/randomactsofbras (with much gratitude!). This will fit when I'm in my smaller weeks, but is definitely too shallow for my bigger days, which is fine. I prefer my bands not to be so stretchy, but it certainly fits for now at the loosest hooks. The cups have a smooth, rounded silhouette with a bit of push-up that can't be removed, and there is a nice, narrow plunge gore that is great for close-set breasts like mine. The lace edge at the top is non-intrusive and won't show under most clothes. One note: Everything about it is soft and satiny, which feels nice but I suspect it will mean the band riding up regardless of tightness as my rib-cage is practically a straight column. Most other people seem to have a more flared shape from the base of their ribs upward, so I don't expect this is an issue that would recur with many others, but it is worth mentioning to the few that might.
The band runs loose and seems to fit more like a 32. After a couple of wears, I can comfortably wear it on the tightest hook, so I'll have to take it in a bit. Since it's padded, it's hard to tell whether the cup shape is right. It seems to follow my breast root pretty well, but I'm not convinced that I'm filling the top of the cup completely. That's ok, since it's molded, and the shape looks ok, even if the top cuts into my root a bit. You can't see it under a shirt. The hook is kind of itchy, though, when I wear it ...on the loosest, so even after I alter the band, I'll be wearing it on the second hook.
The padding is a bit of a weird spot. There's a space between the padding and the wires, and this was kind of uncomfortable the first day I wore it. It feels ok now, but it leaves an odd indent on the bottom of my breast where it falls between the wire and the padding. The space is even enough on both cups that I have to assume that this is deliberate. Bit of an odd design choice.
Update: I sewed a ribbon over most of the bottom elastic and left maybe 1.5 inches left unsewn. It fits a bit loosely on the loosest hook, but I couldn't hook it on the second hooks, so I have to deal with that weird itchiness I get on the loosest hook. Other than that, this bra is quite comfortable to wear now.
I thought about the padding some more, and I think I understand why it doesn't do anything for me. All the padding is located where I don't have much fullness- on the sides and bottom. It just makes the cup shallower in those areas, so my breasts fit just fine with no pushing up. Read more 212 more words
I am glad you like this bra :)
