This is a ballet leotard by the dancewear brand Capezio. Their BraTek range features a "built-in" bra and is recommended to busty dancers often. I got this leotard in Navy from Dance Direct and it was Ā£25.90 including shipping. My measurements are as follows:
Bust: 34"-35.5" depending on how much I lean forward
Under bust: 27"
Waist: 26"
Hips: 36"
Girth: 62"
I got this leotard in a size Large mainly because of the girth measurement. I have a long torso. I was also hoping the size Large would have higher coverage.
My bra size is 28FF/G (UK). I don't consider myself very busty, but I've had a lot of trouble getting support (which means ... being able to fully and confidently do jumps) in a lot of leotards, especially those with thin straps, open back, and/or mesh/lace front.
These are the things that are different from your typical leotard - the straps are fully adjustable, there's a bra band with hook and eye closure and thin, non-wired triangle cups that doesn't add volume with elastic mesh in between.
I think this leotard definitely provides more coverage for busty dancers, and you get a lot of flexibility with the adjustable straps. However, it doesn't really offer much support because the band is not a snug fit (which is expected because this is a size Large but my under bust measures 27"), and the cups are really small on my bust. Some parts are also too loose on me, but I think the Medium might end up too short.
I took a 1.5-hour class in this. I tried to tighten the straps more for more support, but that only caused the band and cups to sit higher. It also creates slight cleavage because of the extra lift but it does not really alleviate bouncing. If you are looking for a leotard that gives bust support, this is not the one, but this could be a great choice if you have a torso that longer/shorter than average because of the adjustable straps.
