This bra fits very comfortably for me, but the band size is a bit loose since I do wear it on the tightest clasp. It stretched out a bit with wear (I used to wear it on the 2nd clasp when I first got it). The cup fits well and there are removable cookies that give a bit of extra boob, but it isn't like a proper push-up bra that lifts and gives you cleavage. However, it means there is actually space for your breast tissue in the bra (I find most real push-up bras displace your breast tissue too much, hence the cleavage on top look). This is more like a moulded bra with some extra padding.
The quality is decent, but the fabric pills a little after washing (you can see it in the photo).
(Bra identification note: this Camille Balconet in cherry blossom, a muted dark pink, is labeled as Chic by Change.)
I finally ordered some Change bras in an attempt to fit my wiiide, shallow, small breasts. This one is as wide and shallow as expected, maybe even a bit too wide, and unfortunately a bit too big in the cup for me on all but a few days of the month. The cups have pockets for adding padding, which I will try. The cups are also significantly lower-cut than my other 30B Change bra -- sexy!
The straps can convert to racerback or halter, but they are only half-adjustable and I already have them adjusted as short as they will go, so it looks like I'll have to sew them shorter. The band is also quite stretchy (to 33") so I may sew that too.
It looks like Camille is a best-seller for Change, so I'm looking forward to trying this bra in 28B soon.
First, note that the identification of this model of bra is a bit of a mystery to me. I bought it from an online boutique as the "Justine Lacy Padded Bra" but what I received doesn't quite match the picture on their site. The Justine line isn't currently listed on the Change website at all; the item number above is all that appears on the bra's hangtag from Change.
That said, this is my best-fitting bra! I had tried just about every bra reputed to be good for shallow breasts, and none were ever wide and shallow enough -- until I got my hands on some ...Change bras.
This model is quite pretty. It's a basic white balconet bra, with 1/8" thick foam cups sewn with 1 vertical seam, overlaid with white lace and lilac trim. The fully-adjustable straps are especially nice, made out of a wavy/lacy-edged elastic, and the bra is trimmed with three white-and-lilac bows.
The cups are super wide and shallow -- in fact, they are a hair too wide for me, but that is okay. They provide nice uplift, and the high gore is comfortable against my sternum after I bent the wires away a bit.
Unfortunately, the band is quite stretchy (to 35") so I will probably have to alter it down. I think a 28C would fit me nearly perfectly in this model, if I ever find it again. Read more 130 more words
