I tried a lot of unpadded bras at Change and I noticed that their cup sizes run quite small. I'm usually a 30F in Panache. In terms of cup volume, this is the size where I don't get a double boob, although the wires are a bit wide for me. I found the band quite similar to my other 30F's that fit me.
The cups are double layered, with a mesh interior and lace exterior, and the layers are put together so that the seams are hidden on the inside. Unlike other bras I've tried, the mesh has a little bit of give. Also ...unlike other bras, this one only has two panels on the cups. Because of that, and also because the wires are a bit too wide, I think it'll hurts the support level a little bit. It's probably fine for the office, or a date, but I wouldn't really run around in it. Too be honest, I didn't really notice that the wires were too wide as the cups hug really nicely around the breasts.
In terms of looks, it's prettier when I'm wearing it. The lace is covered in roses and the colour is grey (labelled Moonrock on the label), and I almost didn't buy it, but after trying it on I noticed that it complements my skin tone nicely (I'm fair skinned). It also gives a nice rounded shape as well.
Update: Wore it for the day. Does not give as much support as my other bras. I probably won't be wearing this one too often. Read more 165 more words
30F and 30H are 4 cup sizes apart. I don't get how this compares to one much smaller. Does that company really make bras 4 sizes too small? Also vertical seams are very supportive, if not more than traditional 2 seamed-3 section cups (depending on breast shape though), because the seam is not on the bias.
(This is something I do when measuring bras on here: flip the cup inside out, put it over your knee but without stretching, then measure where you would normally at the tops of each underwire end with the tape curving around your knee but in as straight a line from each end as possible. Can you get back to me with the cup depth? Interested to see if this gets better results for others as well =) )
Yes, the cups (on the non padded bras) are very small or should I say shallow. I tried on 5+ bras when I was there. I had a very pronounced double boob at my usual 30F, and even at 30G (they don't make FFs). I even tried on an I cup and the wires were too wide, but I wasn't swimming in extra fabric. A little wrinkling but no baggyness. I think that's just how their sizes go, although I haven't tried their padded bras. Also their cups have a bit of stretch in them so maybe the shallowness accounts for that?
To clarify, my comment about the support level wasn't about the seams, but rather the number of sections the cup has. Although I think the actual stretchyness of the cups has more say in the level of support.

The cup depth with the bra over my knee is the same as I got before at 23.5cm.
Thanks. I was curious to know if it works out better than measuring it flat a little at a time. For me it does, and it gets a more accurate number.
Change uses the European sizing system, so no double letters. According to the saleswoman there, my UK 30F ought to make me a 30G in their store, but I too found that I had to size up one cup size to a 30H in most models. Although their bras are very pretty, I found the large cup size engineering to be a bit lacking. Most of their bras had a decidedly unflattering flattening effect on me.
As Change uses the European system all out their cup sizes has a 2 cm difference instead of the 2,54 cm the UK brands use. That means that a UK 4 cup sizes difference means really a 5 cup size difference in Change bras.
The result, a Change 65H/30H should be about the same as a UK 30F.
Good to know! Thanks. I feel slightly deceived now by those supposed "equivalence tables" for bra size conversion. It would be neat to see the sizes plotted on a continuum instead.
Oddly enough though, I fit perfectly into 30Fs in French brands like Prima Donna and Lejaby.
For me this bra was super comfortable and flattering when i first put it on, but over time my breasts would come out the top because the bottom of the cup is too shallow for me. Really sad.
The only gripe I have with this bra is that the gore is pretty high up. So, if you have narrow boobs, the gore won't sit flat against your chest. It's too "wide" and high up.
The cups seem to run smaller than standard UK sizing too which is business as usual for the Change brand.
Often when I'm wearing this my nipples will slip out! You have to stuff your boobs deep into the cups. So, yeah, for a "balconette" bra, this bra plunges quite a bit. Would not recommend to people who have boobs that are fuller on top. I am more of a "full on bottom" boob person and yet this still happens to me.
Basic black Change bra. Seamed foam cups with a mesh overlay. Cups are wide and shallow. Can't comment very well on fit - this definitely doesn't fit now, but I'm fairly certain it never did fit properly. Strap placement and length is good, as is underwire length.
Not sure of the actual name for this bra, but for Change it's the shape that matter anyway. (I feel as though the only difference between Change bras of them same shape and different name are the colour and detailing (lacing, bows, beading.)
I've had this bra for 2 years now so it has stretched out a bit, but is otherwise holding up very well. It has a seam an inch from where the cup and strap connect that goes all the way down to the base of the cup. This is very visible under clothing, making it unflattering for tight and light-coloured shirts. Change does not appear to sell any seamless bras in 30H so this is unavoidable.
Fit: Fits well overall, but quite oddly. It is cut low and dips down a bit to look like two U's. The lower cut would work better if it didn't go up so high on the sides where the strap attaches. Therefore, if it was more horizontal all the way across, this bra would have a better shape. The outside material of the cup wrinkles even though the inner material (against the breast) is flat. Look at photos to get a better idea of the fit.
Straps: The straps are only 1.5 cm wide in terms of the elastic part that provides support, but there is a lace covering the makes the bands 2.6 cm wide.
Look: It is very pretty and feminine, "the most beautiful bra in the store" according to the clerk.
