This bra had cups that were just way too deep for my chest. The bottoms of the cups were filled out, but the tops were empty and flappy.

After I sent back the 70G, I knew I just had to order it in the smaller size. It's so worth it. This is a really great, comfortable, cute looking bra.
Much like in my review for the larger size, I love the detailing and thought put into this bra, and also the high quality of the materials. The solid fabric that makes up the cup feels like butter, and the lace is very soft as well. I feel like Chantelle really knows how to make a good product, and I'm glad I finally found the size that fits. In this bra in particular, the wires are nice and narrow and I have no threat of the cups cutting into my armpits. The shape it gives is really natural - not perfectly round, but slightly pointed much in the way that my boobs ARE slightly pointed. It's basically a perfect match to my torpedo shape, but it's supportive.

Man, I just can't seem to find my size in Chantelle. This 32F was too big, and here I thought it was going to be a winner. I could have sworn I tried on a 32E in some other style and it was too small, but this bra in particular could run big, or I may have lost weight since then, etc. Also, I'm not sure if this should properly be catagorized as a 2-part of 3-part cup, since from the outside it appears to be two, but looking at the inside of the bra the lower portion is actually divided which really makes it ... three. Hm.
The fit seems to be similar to the C Chic plunge, though this center gore comes up higher. (Not an issue for me because I have wide-set boobs anyway.) I have a lot of empty space towards the top of the cup, and the whole top edge gaps tremendously. The underwire also seems just a hair too wide, though if it fit elsewhere I would say it wasn't a dealbreaker. All these issues would obviously be fixed with another cupsize, which I think I'll end up trying because this is a really beautiful bra.
I love the navy colorway (it's really more cobalt, I'd say) and the design is simply lovely. The lower half of the cups is a solid fabric that feels buttery to the touch, and there is unlined lace across the gore, the tops of the cups, and in a small band down the wing as well. There is a cute white stitching around the edges of the bra as well, including the straps. Speaking of, they have an interesting detail in that the front portion is actually three thin bands bound together where they meet the cup and where they meet the adjusting portion. I've always liked when straps divide like that! Overall, I find that Chantelle bras have a really beautiful use of detail and design that I haven't seen in the other brands I've tried.
