Band: Continuous with two layers of stretch mesh and elastic at top of band. Wing support: None. Back close with 4 columns of hooks. Fit: Too long (rides up). Wing height just barely tall enough. NO axillary skin spillage.
Gore: Comfortable, tacks, good spacing
Cups: Full coverage with 3 seams. Most is non-stretch lace with stretch lace at the top edge. The non-stretch lace is lined with a soft, non-stretch mesh. The top stretch mesh is unlined. Unpadded underwire. Gives a pleasantly round shape. Fit: Just barely wide enough to contain all breast tissue. Smooth line on the top of the cup (likely due to the stretch lace in this ...portion). Slight wrinkles just above the wire (slightly too much immediate projection for me).
Straps: smooth elastic, full adjust, leotard back
Fit under clothing: Not smooth under tight tee (despite marketing claims that it is). Not visible under v-neck. Barely visible under tank (shows with movement but not at rest). The nude outer with pink lining is absolutely invisible under a thin white shirt (on my medium Caucasian skin tone). This is my go-to bra under white summer tops. Read more 75 more words

Fit
About me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts * average projection * wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts) * very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line) * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full) * short root height, average vertical placement * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away) * conical shape (but will squish to round) * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame * front (anterior) rib flares
Band: * length: way too big * wings: too short, boobs escape * no axillary skin spillage
Gore: * tacks * height fine * separation fine
Cups: * gives a wide, oval shape * cups too narrow * smooth line at top of cup * wrinkles at bottom the cup (not enough immediate projection at the wire) * fit was too bad to judge projection
Straps: (did not try racer-back option) * too far apart (slip) * adjust short enough
Comfort & Fit Summary * band too big * wings too short * unflattering oval shape * narrow cups * not enough immediate projection at the wire * straps slip * This style was recommended for wide roots, but isn't. Thus, not worth trying other sizes. Read more 243 more words
A very sexy bra that unfortunately is too narrow in the cup for me. OK to wear for an evening, but not for the whole day. Which is a pity, as it gives a very nice lift. Fabric is a bit scratchy.
This band is not forgiving compared to the other Chantelle models I've worn. It's the least stretchy of the three other 36Ds that I have, and it feels tighter than is comfortable.
The lace pattern on the bra is quite pretty (as least in navy), and it currently fits me better than I expect considering I now know that the cup size is too small in a universe where I scoop and swoop. The thing that makes this one unwearable for me is that the wire in the center gore feel high and scratches something awful!
If I'd bought this bra in an E or F cup, I think that I would be quite happy with it. The straps are very comfortable and more interesting than I usually get from a t-shirt bra, and the gore tacks very well for me.
