This bra was the winner after trying on what felt like a million bras with two fitters at Nordstrom. I had initially come in looking for more of a tee shirt bra with molded cups and ended up with this after realizing that none of the molded cups looked remotely natural on my post baby breasts. The fabric is soft and the lace feels very high end. The semi sheer cup makes for a smooth look under clothes while still offering some coverage for nipples. Does a good job of lifting and separating for how light it feels. It does a good job of not feeling like an "old lady" bra.
Fit fantastically. First day wearing it (2/28/2013) and was comfortable all day. The lace bugged my sides a bit, but everything else was fantastically comfortable. Normally I have back//neck pain and did not experience any at all. Everything stayed in place even though I moved all over the place (I'm a cake decorator and move in every witch direction all through the day). Boobs felt and looked great!
This is the only strapless bra I've bought that has stayed in place and hasn't slipped down. It is super comfortable and comes with convertible straps. Hasn't cut into me. Nice silhouette while maximizing comfort.

I've worn 1 size or another of this over the years when money allowed, and the old Natori Full Fit Hidden Glamor. The latter shares a similar aesthetic, sleek fabrics and depth, but feels pretty differently as Orangerie Plunge's gore wires overlap and the J underwire is shorter, narrower. Outside of Comexim, this is the only plunge I've ever tried that had a short and narrow enough gore to fit right. Natori Feathers is way shallower than either of these bras and only shares some general styling in common with this fuller cuts; I'm not sure why both Orangerie and Natori's Full Fit line were abandoned among department stores in favor of Feathers which doesn't really fit anyone so much as boob hat them.
Like many french brands this style suffered some drastic quality control cuts and has smaller set of hooks than it should, no stable frame around the cups, band length runs short/tight/wears out relatively soon (likely because tiny gore and less-shallow cups are more comfortable than other molded bras), etc etc. Read more 206 more words
I was fitted at Nordstrom and this was one of their recommendations for me. It is comfortable, not scratchy in the least. it is somewhat supportive but does not push breasts forward. My shape wearing this is quite rounded. The lined lower halves of the cups cover my nipples and are opaque enough so they don't show through. The cups are stretch lace but there's a thin band of elastic at the top than cuts into my top fullness.
I was looking for a vertical-seam bra for the days when I don't want my boobs as out-there in the world, and this bra does the job perfectly. My tissue is a little soft for such low coverage, but it still works with no spillage.
Because the cups are shallow (it's ok -- it's a halfcup and i want it to be shallow/minimized) the underwires can ride down a tiny bit if i am very active; not a big deal.
The straps are very far apart; only an issue when driving.
There is a little quality issue where the hooks are attached to the band. There's some scratchy melted polyester where ...it was like heat sealed on or something. I'm covering it with some ribbon, but come on Chantelle, this is like a $100 bra. Some of the panache sport bras have this too.
The best part about this bra is the band. There are 4 rows of hooks and eyes, which is awesome because it's a little loose but a 34 would be too tight. The band is double layer and the bottom elastic does not dig in, miracle of miracles, not at all, not even a little bit, i'm looking at you comexim. The outer fabric is soft and lovely.
Aesthetically the bra is very pretty, though i have the black/purple and i liked some of the other colorways better, oh well.
Overall i think this is one of chantelle's stronger offerings. Read more 130 more words
This is my favorite bra that I own. Very sexy lace. I had to wear an extender on the band till it stretched a bit but fits good now. I wear as an everyday.
I really want to love this bra but it is just too small. I'll try up a band or cup. I seem to have less of a tolerance for tightness than other users on bratabase.
I purchased the bra yesterday, 2/27/2013. Its a beautiful bra that give a nice gentle lift with the removable pads, as well as gives me a nice round shape. I'm top heavy and does not give me any quadraboobs. As far as I can tell during the short amount of time that I have worn it, it was comfortable and kept things in place.
