So cute!! You look beautiful!! :-)
Looks great on you. :)
CUPS
Technically, the cups run small, but in practicality they do not because the cup fabric is stretchy.
The top of the cup is one layer of mesh that stretches horizontally, as does the top line seam, so this bra can accommodate variations in upper bust fullness — within reason.
The lower cup comprises two layers of fabric, one stretching horizontally and the other vertically.
GORE
The centre gore is wide especially at the bottom. My boobs say no to this attempt to push them apart and retaliate by forcing the bra down my torso.
BAND
The band is shorter, but stretchy, so the theme continues.
Really the whole bra feels ... flexible all over so it's SO COMFY except the gore for me.
I prefer a firm band and cups for maxxx support, so this is more like a lazy house or sleep bra for me.
CUTE
very cute. tri-colour scheme and colour-blocking and polka-dot pattern.
PS I got the matching bikini briefs too in an XS and they are adorable but unfortunately too small on me. I am normally a S or M on the pants.

This bra is amazingly soft and comfortable, and it provides a much more flexible fit than the regular Dessous. It's definitely a full cup, and is fairly narrow and projected. The wires are soft, and not very strong and the overall support level is not very high. I'm not at all impressed with the quality and would be livid if I had paid regular price for this. The elastic started to fray on the second wear, and the stitching and overall finishing just isn't great. But, it's an unlined longline and I've wanted one of those for forever.
The Claudette Dessous has been the one that got away to me for a long time. I ad

Oh these colors and style are so pretty! Unfortunately I had the same quality issues with my Dessous, but I'm especially mad about the quality of the elastic. I've only had the elastic fray on bras that were old and had been machine washed. So I don't plan on buying anymore Claudette's, even though this bra looks cute :(
It's such a shame that the quality isn't there because it's incredibly cute. It looks great on you.
The model could be wearing a smaller bra than her size, but I like the full cup on you nevertheless. I bought a few 2015 season bras with freying band fabric after only trying them on, so this quality issue might be more widespread. I found their band material ridiculously unsupportive, it is just the elastic on the borders that hold and I get a "sausage on the back" look. Would love to own a fitting Dessous, but no idea which size or year of model, colour etc to go for.
This bra is from SS15, so it's always possible it was an issue contained to that season. I think it's important to contact the company with such issues so that they can address them, and it's a better product for everyone. I'm sorry to hear so many of you have had quality issues as well! And yes, I found a bit of that too. To me though it's not any worse than Cleo or Freya. I've always felt that the big UK brands don't have a quality that corresponds to the new price.
I had a Cleo dessous from the first season that lasted really well. I'm thinking this might be more of a season issue. I've owned a couple from other seasons briefly- long enough to wash them a few times and I didn't have any issue with them. My main complaint is that the cut on the dessous has been tweaked season to season so I never know nichols color ways might work for me. I do wish all the companies would use bands with tension more similar their band elastic, some times it's almost unbearable - and Claudette elastic can be especially biting at the end of the day. Of all the bras I've tried nothing has had the longevity of my Cleo lily parrots. That thing has been indestructible!
I got the Claudette Longline I ordered from the Zulily sale last month. It actually fits really well (I think!). I'm honestly not really into unlined bras, because I usually don't like the shape that they give me, but this was an exception. It is so pretty!
If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it!
I believe my shape is shallow or slightly shallow with wide and tall roots.
I was considering trying the new floral Parfait Charlotte, but I wasn't sure which size to order. I heard that it runs small. Also, i've gotten halfcup suggestions in the past. I want to try the deco half cup, but I have the plunge and it fit well in the cups, but the wires were much to narrow. I've heard if the plunge fits you, the half cup probably wont. Is there any truth to this?

That looks great on you!
I'm still relatively new to all this, but what I can say about Charlotte (oh, that new floral....looks so pretty!) ....I have a different shape than you, although similar size. I don't think the cups run all that small, but the band is definitely quite firm. Even though my comfortable rib cage measurement is about 28 and my purple Charlotte stretches to 29 inches, it is too tight for me to tolerate without an extender. I had hoped it would loosen up, but after 3 or 4 hand washes, and several weeks of wear (a lot of that time was multiple days in row, because at that point I had nothing else that came close to fitting)...it's still just as tight.
sereneindeed Thank you! I am actually a 26 band, so the snug charlotte band sounds good to me! Hopefully it loosens up for you though. Thanks for the charlotte info. I will definitely be stalking it on amazon to see if my size appears in the floral!
Ahh the Dessous Longline! I'd coveted this thing for so damn long. I loved the fact that it was unlined and that, unlike my Freya halfcup longlines, this had "boning" to keep the band from bunching and folding. Also, I'm a sucker for the coral and grey combo. So when this bra went on sale, I jumped on the opportunity and ordered my best fitting size in their Dessous model.
The bra arrived looking very attractive in its packaging. I quickly put it on. The verdict? Well, let's just say you'll rarely hear me say this about any bra I add, but it looked pretty bad on me. So ... bad, in fact, that it was eye twitch inducing. The band was way too loose and it threw off everything else fit-wise. On regular Dessous bras I can get away with a too loose band and slightly not enough immediate projection at the bottom of the cup because of my boob shape. It's not ideal, but I can make do for a few hours of the day. However, with the Dessous Longline, it's not going to work. The shallowness issues really affects the already loose band and causes it and the wires to float away from my body. There's what I call a "triangle of floating" that is formed from the panel of fabric that extends from below the gore to the bottom of the band in front. The wires are definitely not coming near my IFM. It's incredibly annoying and uncomfortable.
For this bra, I would recommend you going for perfect sizing. Sister sizing and hoping for the best did not work out in my case.

The band is quite stretchy - I'm usually a 30E and this band won't stay in place on my 29" ribcage (loosely measured).
The wires are wide enough and enclose my wide-root shallow boobs comfortably. The shape is pretty natural, slightly rounded.
The material the bra is made of is very soft, and the cups are stretchy. I love this because this way they will adapt to almost any boob shape possible. I'm even (with some upper fulness) and I thought these high-cut cups would never work for me, but they do! No cutting in, no quadboob, no wrinkling.
On the downside: The stretchiness makes the cups prone to in-cup-quadboob, so I would not recommend this style to people with soft boobs.

I tried on this bra 5 times thinking it was too big. I adjusted the straps very short and found it fits quite well - just slightly gaping at the top of the cup, but not an issue under clothes.
I get quite a minimized shape. Slightly round, slightly natural shape.
30 bands are too tight for my preference, 32 band is great.
The longline aspect is a bit off. The cups are stretchy (unlike all the other Dessous versions), and this warps the short longline bit in the front. This could be exasperated by the fat on my ribs.. not sure.
I get slight quad boob at the gore, but not enough to say it is unwearable or noticeable under clothing.
Straps feel a bit wide, but don't painfully cut in like Cleo's did.
