I have loved everything I have received from @Claudette so far. I have the Fishnet Plunge in 28:4; http://bra.pe/XXwQ/ and I have the 30:4 in this same bra; http://bra.pe/XXvC/ . I was SO HAPPY with how the 30D fit me I was ecstatic to try my 28:5 Dessous. These are unfortunately two completely differently fitting bras. The comfort level on this bra is great. The band was lovely and snug. The under wires were a fine width, and I of course had my typical problem with Claudette under wire/gores. They sort of dig in and hurt to begin with, this ...either goes away or I push the wire down the channel towards the outside of the cup since there is always a bit of room in the wire channels. The shape this bra gave me was a very natural one, not at all like the 30D which was lifted, gathered, and mostly rounded. There were quite a lot of horizontal lines on this bra and a couple vertical ones on the arm pit side of the cup. I couldn't figure out what was going on with this bra till I took it off and went to measure it. This 28DD CAN NOT fit a 28, or even a 26, rib cage without the cups & wires stretching and warping. Laying flat the band measures 20.5"; certainly not unheard of for a 28 band. But then I went to stretch the band and only got to 23" before the wires & cups started warping. I think this bra would be best for a tight 24:8 (24H) with narrow roots. Although the cups/wires may be a bit warped as I wore this bra once for a ten hour shift at work. The bra band can easily stretch to at least 26" (that's where I stopped stretching it), but, again, the wires/cups begin warping after 23". I have no idea what I'm going to do with this bra.....I'd like to try a 28D/E respectively. To see if this is a problem among all @Claudette size 28 band @Dessous bras. I plan on doing a comparison page. Read more 254 more words
I know yogurt ! The best color description I can come up with is highlighter pink. SO very bright and in your face. I just wish the wires/cups didn't start warping after a 3" stretch of the band. :-( I'm hoping this one is just a one off and I can get another where the wires don't warp when the band stretches to at least 26".
This bra is a really nice simple bra. The cups are too small and shallow and I feel like they make my bust look smaller than it actually is. I like that the straps are a little bit wider than normal, it makes them feel more substantial. They are a tad bit too wide though, but with the strap extender the straps do not bother me at all. Overall the bra is just tight enough to be uncomfortable, however with a strap extender, its fits better. Size up in the cup and the band for sure!
It is runs small in the cup and the band is quite firm. Fits more like tight 28D, so it is better to size up in the band and cup. The wires kept sliding down so I feel that it is too shallow for me. Probably more suitable for the very shallow. Gives quite a flattened shape which I don't like. Also, the straps are ridiculously wide.
Three hooks construction which is rare in this size range. Aesthetics-wise, I love the clean and simple lines. It's well-made, but not for me.
Very pretty bra, but the cups seem to run a bit small. In Freya and Curvy Kate, I'm a 28D, but I think a 28E would be a better fit for me in this bra - the 28DD gives me a bit of spillage over the top. It's not enough to make the bra uncomfortable or anything - actually it's quite supportive and comfy - just a very minor cosmetic thing. The band is just perfect for me (my ribcage is closer to a 26 than 28), though, and the colour matches my skin tone quite nicely.
This, this bra came out a lot more highlighter pink than I expected. The color isn't for me, but that's the least of my problems.
For some reason, Claudette 28 bands always dig awfully into my left ribcage. Why? They're not even that tight....
Aside from that, there are numerous fit issues. The cup is altogether too deep for me and too closed on top, resulting in an elf shoe look. The wires are quite wide, which is something I don't need but I don't mind either. As is usual for Claudette Dessous, the mesh is a bit scratchy at first but pretty comfortable in the grand scheme of things and the fully-adjustable and easily-slideable straps are a treat. This bra has a weird hard wrinkle in the cup seam near the nipple, which means an unfortunate poking through of the seam into any shirt that I might wear. The band is on the lose side of TTS.
Bought this for the 12 year old and the band runs very small. Cups are pretty shallow, and very open on top. I can't comment on fit personally, but she fits a 30D Parfait Madeline perfectly and this was both too small in the band and "just not right" as she put it lol. I would say it probably fits more like a 26DD.
This one runs way different in the sizing than my bright yellow one, otherwise I would buy it off you. :(
Hmm different in which ways? Mods have asked me to verify a bunch of my recent bra measurements so I'm beginning to think I'm doing things wrong and/or am very bad at reading tape measures. Definitely willing to double check if there's a measurement you're concerned about.
With a lot of bras different colors can have different sizing so I don't think it's necessarily your measurements that are off. However, if you could check the cup depth again that would be great!
I bought an extender for this bra and have worn it a couple more times. I think I need a 30C in this model. The cups are just a little bit wider than I like them to be and I get a little bit of wrinkling when it's not that time of the month.

This review is for the SS 2015 model of this bra, I think I read somewhere that there have been year-to-year changes.
Tight band alert! I couldn't stretch this to the full 28". If you need a tight band this bra is for you. Today my ribcage is measuring an even 27" and this feels sooooooo ...tight. I have only worn it for about 10 minutes and it isn't painful, just way more snug than I'm used to. Based on my experience with my old 32A - Claudette ยป Dessous Mesh Underwire Bra (CD2000), I think the band will relax over time, otherwise I would probably exchange it for a sister-sized 30D.
I would also say that the cups run small. I bought a 28D and a 28DD to try in this bra only because I was seeing really small cup measurements posted on Bratabase. Right now I fit mostly into 30C and 28D bras and I would not have otherwise ordered a 28DD.
I absolutely love the bright yellow and pink. Photos do not do this bra justice. It is traffic-stopping bright neon.
My pictures turned out super weird. I guess my phone camera hates the light in here and for some reason I look blue. Also, the slight cup wrinkling on my smaller side wasn't there after I took the bra off and then put it on again. Huh.
I'm sure I'll have more to say about this as I break it in. You can see how tight it looks, I might pick up an extender. Read more 201 more words
Edit 2/14: Alright, I tried it on with an extender and the straps were pulled even farther to the sides, so it's a no go. I'm very disappointed, because I like the shape and depth of the cups when I add the extender the cups fit well since they aren't pulled to my chest quite so hard. I'd say it runs at least one band and cup size small, and as I mentioned the straps are way wide set.
Original review: I was sad to discover this bra runs small - my other 28DD's fit perfectly and are just beginning to stretch out enough to move to the second ...hook after more than 6 months - this one is way too tight and when buckled (my husband had to do it with my arms down and breath out) it pulled the cups into my chest so tightly it both minimized and quad-boobed me. I think with an extender it might work alright and it will give it time to stretch out - maybe it just means I'll get to keep this bra even longer than normal? But I sure wish I'd known it ran small so I could've ordered a 30DD. Despite being obscenely tight in the band, it wasn't that uncomfortable. The band is very wide especially around the back, so it distributed force really well and it didn't feel as tight as it looked (I'm pretty skinny but my skin bulged around it in a very unfortunate manner). The band is very solid mesh with little stretch. The cups seemed nicely lightly padded enough to provide coverage and nice shape. Read more 164 more words
