The bra looks STUNNING. Black lace used over a neon green mesh gives a great effect.
Too shallow and too wide for me. Band is slightly too loose for my taste, I like tight 32 bands. Underwires are soft (a little too soft for my heavy bra bullies of breasts) and really comfy. Cups are somewhat wide set.
Would be perfect for someone with an average to wide root and average projection to shallow 32G who prefers a slightly looser band or 34FF who prefers a tighter band.
If your breasts need silly amounts of support like mine the underwires may be too soft.
BEWARE Nipples will show, specially dark nipples, I don't have a great problem with this but I don't use it with light tops. I love this bra, It ma not seem like it, but this bra is really supportive, and since it haves elasticized top It helps me to conceal my uneven breast a lot more than other styles. not a lot of bras are sexy and supportive at the time. Band is a bit loose. If you are in between band sizes stick with the smaller band size, and size up on the cup to maintain in the same size volume. say: if you have a rib cage ...of 33 inches, and regularly use a 34 FF, go down to a 32 band a and go up to a G cup. My only complaint it would've that there is a bit of inconsistency in sizing, not much, but second bra in this model fitted a bit loos at the elasticized top. I solved with a little stitch. Beware that it come with a lot of starch, and as you put it on the first time it might be a bit scratchy, soak it for 30 minutes in cold water and mild soap, wash it off, the material will be softer after the 2nd wash is much softer,and gets even better at the 3rd. Pretty bra, but the material isnt the most comfortable in my opinion, and it runs quite large, in the cups as well as the band. I normally fit in 34FF/G and took a chance with the 32G, and im very surprized that it is actually too big.
I ordered this on final sale along with several other colors and sizes of the same bra. I got this 32G in the "True Blue" colorway (bright blue with hot pink trim). I doesn't fit me or suit my shape at all but I did want to just comment that the band on this bra is MUCH more snug than on the other two 32" bras I got (32FF Dessous in mauve/black and 32FF Dessous Sucre in black/hot pink). Those bras are very loose on the tightest strap. This bra is comfortably snug on the second row of hooks.
I tried on this bra 5 times thinking it was too big. I adjusted the straps very short and found it fits quite well - just slightly gaping at the top of the cup, but not an issue under clothes.
I get quite a minimized shape. Slightly round, slightly natural shape.
30 bands are too tight for my preference, 32 band is great.
The longline aspect is a bit off. The cups are stretchy (unlike all the other Dessous versions), and this warps the short longline bit in the front. This could be exasperated by the fat on my ribs.. not sure.
I get slight quad boob at the gore, but not enough to say it is unwearable or noticeable under clothing.
Straps feel a bit wide, but don't painfully cut in like Cleo's did.

I am thinking about taking in the gore to see if that helps a bit with the fit.

Review for Lilac with gray trim. I know how inconsistent these bras fit. I find the Blonde with pink trim the same fit.

I love this bra. I typically wear a 32F/G USA/UK depending on the bra style and brand. After reading your reviews and seeing that the cups run small, I am glad I went up a size and purchased a 32G label size. It fits near perfectly. I love that it is completely sheer, as I love beautiful lingerie and at my size it is sometimes difficult to find. I have no problem with "nipping", but I would like to point out that my areola/nipple area can be seen under a white shirt, so that may be something you should consider if you are more on the modest side.

FYI, the underwires are sitting too low on this - try pulling them all the way up to where your breast meets your chest wall on the underside and see if that changes the fit. They need to go up underneath your breast as far as you can get them to go. I'd like to know where you found the all nude color - it's lovely and I want one haha.
lcl0706, actually, I have recently had breast reconstruction so I wear my bras the way I currently feel comfortable in them, as I would recommend to anyone. I bought this at herroom.com. It is not nude but a pale pink; I have very fair skin.
At first glance everything looks okay, but there are wrinkles in the cup fabric in a few different places. I was expecting wrinkles near the top because my tissue is pretty soft, but the wrinkling on the sides and bottom probably means that the cup is too big. My boobs are also sliding around a bit and the bra is not holding them as securely as I'd like (or as securely as Dessous does in the same size. The band is fine, maybe a tiny bit loose. A 32FF would probably be a better fit for me.
This bra is comfortable pretty, and the fabric on the lower half of the cups is really soft and nice.
I thought maybe going up a band size (and thus cup volume) can solve the quadding near the gore and shallowness issues; and was planning to alter the band. But nope. Brazillion times nope. This bra and I are just not meant to be.
I discovered that the Claudette site had deep sale prices on their Encore section. The trick, though, is that there are no returns, and I'd never worn this brand before. So made a $27 tester purchase of this bra, using all the advice the internet had to offer. I'm between band sizes (34F in Panache and 32FF in not-Panache is my rule of thumb), so I ordered the smaller band. Then I sized up in the cup, since that seemed the internet consensus. Hence, the 32G.
I generally prefer a wider gore, and my breasts are only a teensy bit FOT, otherwise pretty medium-shaped. I'm too big for any ...32F I've ever tried, but tend to be either at or just shy of a 32FF cup.
Verdict - OMG comfortable! And it kind of fits! That is to say, my issues with the fit can only be noticed when I'm not wearing a shirt. This was mind-blowingly comfortable, though, so I went back and ordered three 32FFs. I wore it all day and came home without immediately ripping it off.
Cups - First, the good. The wires hit me perfectly under the arms and tack all around my front. The fabric is feather-light and as sexy as neon yellow can be. No poking, no rubbing, no pain. On to the issues. The transparent material makes it obvious where the wires don't quite follow my curves. There is some empty cup at the bottom near the gore and at the very top of the cup, near the strap. I had to hike the straps up to feel supported, though it's not at all cutting into my shoulders. It is, however, flattening me some front-to-back (almost minimizing, really), without also side-supporting me forward. The net effect is a very round but not very projected look. Unlike the dark days of my add-four-inches-to-the-band 36DDD bras, though, it's not so bad as to make me look like I should be serving beer in Valhalla to bearded men who call me "Wench!" Or living a double life by night as a Mesopotamian fertility goddess. In other words, it still shapes my bosom so that my waist doesn't get lost and my breasts don't dominate the frontal view. Rather, it's just a silhouette that's hourglassy from the front and hemispherical from the side - sometimes you want that! This will look fantastic in a sheath dress.
Band - Oh lordy, here's what made me buy three more (just a cup size down). It's soft, and at first I thought that meant it wouldn't support. But that's not the case! My ribcage and the skin thereon is sensitive, and even bras that fit well often hurt by the time I get home from work. I'm looking at YOU, Panache! This somehow manages to hold me just right, tightly enough to support, but not tightly enough to pinch. Three hooks! THREE! I think that's got something to do with it, since Freya's bands are similarly soft, but still pinch at the bottom. This holds more evenly, and not even the ric-rac edge gives me friction burn. I was tempted to wear it on the middle hooks, and you can do that right out of the gate, but I found that wearing on the last hook still worked fine. The gore still tacked, and nothing budged.
Take away - Don't necessarily size up a cup. If you're not all that FOT, your normal cup might be your best bet. Do either size the band down, or opt smaller if you're between sizes. Read more 482 more words
Hmm. On the fence about this one. I *think* it fits, but then I realize it probably doesn't.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A bit later and I've worn it once more. Bigger boob quads and smaller boob is loose - both just a tiny bit. Band is fine. The wire seems to wide for me. I should try the 32FF so I'm getting one to compare.
im a lazy bum and i never got around to a full review of this- but its larger than my 32FF so i dont have a great insight to it anyhow. i was hoping that sizing up in the cup would eliminate the cutting in i get at the top because of my large roots, but it just ended up too large all over. cup depth and wire width definitely dont work! the band was great though, and its a gorgeous color way https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> its on to a new home who will hopefully love it better!
Beautiful bra... I had hoped that sister sizing would work for me, but it didn't. It also gave me a bad case of east-south-west boobs... but that's probably due to ill-fit.
