    Didn't fit

The cups of this bra are narrower than expected, and the band fits TTS for a 30 - the past owner might have stretched it in her few wears? Personally I wouldn't buy a band size up like others are mentioning.

Yet the cups are just a bit shallow. My breasts will not stay in the bottoms of the cups, so I tend to get an odd and flattened shape on bottom. I dont enjoy the amount of lining the cups have either. It's a bit thick and doesn't want to lay flush with my skin at the top of the cup. Maybe it is just a bit ... too open on top for me? The matching bottoms have a fold down waist band that also doesn't want to lay flat in the back, though they fit well everywhere else. Makes me wonder if there are quality and construction issues on top of the fit problems. Add that to occasional gaping from the fit problems, and I will be sticking with my generic Size S bikini top from Old Navy for now.

    • It's easy to see from the side view that this brand's cup sizing is too small for you by about a half cup size because the underwire is right at the spot that can begin to cause discomfort!
This is a common problem with many brands on the market and after reading an article in Inc. magazine about thirdlove.com bra company mentioning the significant percentage of women being either a half cup more than their closest standard size, now I know why my years of bra shopping have resulted in several that did not fit me correctly. The underwire is supposed to trace a curve around the fullest part of the outer breast ending towards the armpit slightly more vertically (about 5 - 8 degrees more than in your side photo) ensuring no sensation of its presence while the only slight detection of it would be about 3/4 of an inch/6mm area of the underwire's contact as it rests gently under your bust and front rib cage.
Next time you go bra shopping, keep trying them on until you find one in each type that fits you best and make a note if you had to 'sister size' to get the right fit.
      Good luck!

    • dbsbras that method is sizing underwires would not work at all for omega shapes.

"the significant percentage of women being either a half cup more than their closest standard size"

They're just wearing a bra that isn't a good fit. There isn't a standard size (i.e. cup depth/width/volume) to use as a control for a statement like this.

    • You're right, it is looking small on the side - I'll have to figure out where my tape measure went and find out the cup depth and width - one is probably much too small.

I tried the Pippa in 30E, my usual Cleo size, but the band felt too tight. The band is very narrow and it cut in, left red marks and felt uncomfortable. I don't like too tight bands on a bikini, so I went one sister size up for comfort and got myself a 32DD (the size I'm also wearing in the Cleo Marcie (6831), by the wayhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />)
