The Cleo Lucille bikini top is quite pretty and pretty cute, but this is one of the tightest 28 bands I've ever tried on. It's troublesome to wear for that very reason: it's just too tight for me, and there's bikini clasps rather than bra clasps. The design and feel of the bra is overall pretty good though! The colors are well chosen and combined. The straps are adjustable, the cups are unlined and have firm elastic that will stretch around breast shape but not lose support. The cup shape sadly didn't fit me, it was too short and cut off on the top for my (presumably) even vertical fullness. This bra won't suit a FoT shape.
I got this for free here and thought I could make it work. I thought I would make alterations.. I won't. I need to give away this awesome swimsuit top! I love the summery look of this bra and it feels and looks like gray quality
This is a padded bikini that have edge and foam thick as Mimi. I have a model Mimi similar to this on same size, by comparison, this cups have deeper and lower than Mimi. Perhaps because this have tight band or/and soft wire, the cup will be pulled to back and the boobs will be flat and cut in so it seems like the top is closed. In fact Mimi doesn't extend the wire to my back, but this did it. If I go to 1 bigger band, I will can compare correctly. If you need a closer fit to Mimi, you may need a sister size.
I was pretty excited when I saw that Cleo was making a 28-band bikini, especially a wire-free one... I couldn't find it anywhere in the US, and it was really expensive to get from the UK. Then, I found it online and couldn't wait to try it.
I'm a little disappointed. The band fits just fine. Due to the lack of wires, the bikini does not have much shape. The bottom of the cups tend to collapse a little. Since there are no wires, and the gore doesn't tack, there is less contour around my boobs, making me look flat. This would all be not so bad, except the halter straps are way too far apart. They're located next to my armpits. If they had been an inch or two inward, I think I might have kept Tilly.
I have a shallow and wide root. I can't fully scoop & swoop into this bandeau bikini top, or else I get quad-boob, especially near the armpits, as the (removable) straps are somewhat centered, rather than right next to my armpits. Note that there are 2 individual bra-style straps (not a halter). The cups themselves are fairly shallow, but pretty closed on top. However, the cups are "tall", so it works ok.
I deliberately ordered a 28 because I was worried that in the water it would expand and feel too loose if I ordered a 30. It is quite firm, but I'm ok with that.
Despite the fit issues, this is a really cute bikini. Love the colors, the retro styling, and the contrast piping. I wear US size 4, and the UK 8 bottoms were perfect.
