Sooo cute from the front. Very slight quadboob from the side only, but I was expecting that and it's a strapless bikini for crying out loud. Extremely tight band, takes some practice to fasten and a few adjustments afterwards. However, even after wearing it for a few minutes around my room I could tell that it was starting to work better for me. Stays up fine without the straps. If I bout it again, I think I'd go up a cup size or band size, whichever was more on sale https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
This top has a subtle minimizer effect. It may be because it's slightly too shallow for me. I get quad-boob toward the middle, probably because the gore is too wide for me. Other than that, the fit is good, with no spillage in the armpits (rare in a halter!) and good flat center gore fit.
The fit of this bikini top is ok. I could go down a band and up a cup to a 28GG and have a more modest and proper fit, but as a bikini, I'm ok with some cleavage. The gore doesn't tack on this bikini top, but I imagine it is supposed to. It doesn't bother me, however, I might need to practice caution when entering and exiting the water in case of any unexpected wardrobe malfunctions (yes I still use that reference 10 years after the fact). I can reduce the risk of that happening by using the straps it comes with https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" ...alt=":)" />
I'm very neutral about the design. It's cute, but maybe too cute for me with the heart in the middle. I've seen people remove it and put little buttons in its place. I have the bottoms in size S and they fit nicely (my lower hips at the widest are 37.5 inches).
All that being said, this bikini is the best strapless "bra" I have ever owned. The front design is what I'm looking for to create cleavage. While the gore may not tack and the wires are not sitting exactly at my IFM, the bikini very firmly encircles my bust and doesn't feel like it's on the verge of slipping at every move. What would make this bikini an even better strapless bra is if it had a ton of hooks in the back, but it actually does a much better job staying up without straps than my Deco Strapless and Wonderbra Ultimate Strapless bras. Not everyone will agree with my strapless fit preferences, but this is the only setup that seems to work on my narrow ribcage. When I wear strapless bras big enough to enclose my breast tissue, there's too much bra and too much weight added on the band, which is always too loose. This causes said strapless device to slide down to my waist. This doesn't happen with my Lucille bikini. Read more 228 more words
This is a well made item and it is very pretty. However I can barely get the band closed. The cups are very small for a 30 FF, I would expect to have to go up two cup sizes just to put it on.
LOVE this swimsuit! I have a little bit of spillage on the top, which might be fixed by sizing up a cup, but it feels secure on my ribcage and doesn't slip down. No pokage either! The fabric is great, I just love this swimsuit - as well as all the details like the heart on the front of the cleavage. Can't wait to get this thing out in the water!
cute, but not really my thing. the cups are really tall, wide-ish, and shallow. there's one external vertical seam so the cups have an odd angular look to them. my major issue was that the cup was just too tall - i'm pretty short and i felt like it visually just took up too much space on me.
since it's a swimsuit, there's only one hook - it felt pretty normal for a 30 band. two detachable straps, the underwire is hidden pretty well, i just wasn't really feeling it.
I may be speaking out of turn here, and I apologize if I seem bossy, but I think that swimsuit looks fabulous on you. At least from your pictures, it doesn't seem to go up too far on your decolletage/shoulder area. Nor can I see where it looks angular from the seaming. It looks, in fact, ideal. Just like a product photo, in fact--without the contouring and highlighting all those photographers use. Just wanted to mention it, because it's a really cute suit. It took me forever to find swimsuits that work for my much more problematic body. I don't have the slimness you do that is so helpful when shopping for swimsuits.
that's really very sweet of you, but those pictures aren't of me :] haha
