Cleo Marcie cuts are a strange kind of bra family on me. Actually I do find the whole bra family extremely strange. It has so much room near the gore on top it will even gape on full on top boobs when moving around. But if sizing down I would instead quad. And this Cleo bra cut is the cut that is told to work best on shallow boobs. I find that completely logic. But I would want to act that I don't think this cut looks good on anyone in a larger size. Definitely not above 30J and sister sizes but hardly in the smaller sizes ... either. It's simply constructed imo very very weird. You can either choose between quadboob if sizing down, or incup quadboob if sizing up.
Also the cup depth on these bras are huge. Put over knee and side seam stretched out it's 33 cm in 32H.
I actually thinks this bra is more supportive in a too big size than a fitting one. When one forces boobs forward that much and leaves so much room on top boobs are very far away from the body. That makes them very unsupported. The far apart straps and the two hooks and eyes will have a hard time holding boobs up if they are not very small or very firm.
The bra is a maximizer which is also why it's smarter in the smaller than the larger sizes. Under clothes the gaping won't be shown and since I like the pink flower print showing through a white top I actually consider keeping it and just fold the lace slightly inwards double on top to take away the extra space there. That way it turns a little higher on the sides and lower in the front which is what I need https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I also cannot stop thinking about how that bra could should be changed to work in larger sizes because I cannot decide whether it's the bottom parts that are too high or the top part that simply are too generous. Or both.
It's a good bra for close together boobs. It's a good bra for firm boobs. In smaller sizes it's a good bra for shallow boobs. But as a whole this bra cut simply doesn't make much sense.
I know there are many that thinks that it's good that bras are made in a higher cup size. But I would say in some cases it's just giving false hopes and more of the bra being a pretty garment than a bra. And it does look weird on almost everyone above a G cup.
The boobs I can imagine this bra being really good for is augmented boobs. The don't weigh as much as their size suggests and so they can benefit from the shape without demanding as much support.
