I have heard the marcie is more shallow in lower cup sizes. My issue is I get awful in-cup quadding - its a 32HH, tho, and I usually wear a J, so I am really curious if it would be better in a J. But I dont think, in your size, you'd have that problem.

I am pretty sure I did a fit request, I'm not asking for help with my bra. I know its a tad small and has awful in-cup quadding and is comfortable.
I am LOOKING FOR information from ppl who own the new colorways (esp black and beige) to see if its likely I'll have less of the quadding problem with these colors now that whatever issues have been fixed
I was looking at other pictures of 30FFs and this one does look more similar to those than my 30G, so I guess it's just the shallow range cut off. It's a bit unfortunate, but it might work out OK in the end.
As for in cup quadding, I had a little bit of that when my red one was like half a cup too small but it was negligible. Even though this one is a little off, there isn't any quadding, so I wonder if it's a red/respberry issue. I don't think I ever had that issue with my pink ones.
Yes, I've heard it suggested that the reddish ones are stretchier and that caused the problem. Idk, i might try a beige or black 32J some day
Basic all black version of Cleos unpadded classic with the amazingly round shape.
I've grown a little bigger lately so I ordered this bra in both a 30FF and 30F - Cleo » Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831). When I tried the raspberry version of the 30FF three years ago it was definetely too big and the upper lace was gaping. This time around while the black 30F technically fits the 30FF does as well, even the upper lace is laying perfectly flat which can be a problem in the Marcie with FoB breast.
As this bra was a perfect match for my boobs on those bigger days, the uplift not compomised and the wire width perfectly wearable I decided to go with the 30FF and enjoy the extra comfort that goes along with the roomier cups.

Love at first sight! Although this is not my correct size it still fits pretty good, possibly because of how stretchy the band is. I did end up getting a 30G because I had ever so slightly in bra quadding where the lace starts. I was not sure if it would get better or worse as I wore it. Also I was worried that the band would get too loose but it sure was the most comfortable band I’ve ever had on. Not too firm but yet firm enough. The center gore tacked at the bottom not the top so I also thought maybe due to the cup size. I’d like to compare the Black in 28GG/G and 30G. If you read my review on the 30G in the Tangerine color it definitely seems to run way tighter in the band so I’m curious if this is the difference in size FF to G or if it’s the color Black vs Tangerine?!?

I’d probably size up in the cup in this one as well as the 30G, as I’m not sure the sister size you suggested will be any better.
Thanks I’m going to try that!

This was the first bra I ever bought that I really loved. I have bought 5 or more of these in various sizes and colors over the past six years. I was looking forward to getting this bra in my current size because I thought it fit me really well, but after trying it on I'm less than impressed! It still gives a nice shape and the band is very comfortable, but there is gaping on the underarm area I don't remember from before. I don't know if I'm getting better at finding bras that fit or if something is just off on this particular bra (Different from earlier colorways)? Either way, I'm much more pleased with the Cleo Skye I recently purchased and this one will have to be returned.

Skye was so much more comfortable for me, too. Thrilled you have her :-)

I have finally found a bra that fits! And, it's super cute and happy looking in the bright yellow.
At first, the band was quite tight, and I wore it with an extender, but it has stretched to be comfortable. There was the slightest gapping at the top of the cups with the slightest quad boob at the seam between the lace and the fabric. However, a tiny (¼") tuck at the apex took that away and it lays smoothly over the tops of my breasts. The seams practically disappear under tighter clothing as well.
I am quite close together with fullness ... in the center and project. After two kids, my tissue is soft on top (it wants to pillow or be cut into…no plunge bras!!). I was so happy to finally put on a bra that wasn't pushing out my tissue in the center and allowed for my breasts to come forward without cutting into them.
I also had ordered a Lucy in a 28G, but it was way too tight in the band, so I am waiting for it in a 30FF. I am also waiting for a Lily in a 30G. I am excited to feel I am finally on the right track! I have tried on so many different brands and cuts. Some were almost OK, but not quite. I would love to hear feedback as to how these three styles have worked for others.
At any rate, I'm very happy with my new yellow bra. So is my husband! I didn't realize how much he hated nude and black bras until he saw me in this happy yellow Marcie!
EDIT: I read some comments on fit issues with the Meg/Lily, where it was recommended to push the wires down in the channels so that they are pushed away from the center and more towards the outside. Genius! Gapping is gone! I removed the tucks and it fits well. I may even try up one cup size with my next purchase, but it remains supportive and practically disappears under clothes.

I LOVE the look of the Marcie. It is just SO pretty.
This shape is amazing for someone who is FOT or has even fullness. I have even fullness and I feel like it is very flattering https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I do have to clasp this band on the tightest hook, as it will not stay in my IMF otherwise. I am receiving a Marcie in a 28G soon, so that should fit a little better.
I have pretty close-set boobs, and the gore is on the brink of sitting on my breast tissue - not a big deal at all. I do think that the cups come up a little short on the top, especially from the side view. However, this is a non-issue when wearing it underneath clothing.

Rewriting my review after trying to make this work for a couple months. I like Marcie. It's a close fit, but also has several issues for me. Due to my shape and roots, there's both wrinkling and overspill throughout the cups. This is something I could live with as it's not uncomfortable, but what I can't really live with is the gore is an inch too high for me. I have basically no separation. When I got this bra I had much lower standards and I like that it's unlined and has narrow cups but I have since found unlined bras with low gores that work perfectly. Marcie is still in my drawer, but not in my regular rotation. I may experiment with replacing the wires.

Ordered to compare fit with the Panache Envy because I found the gore super uncomfortable on the Envy. The fabric is pretty comfortable but the gore still digs into my sternum and sits partially on breast tissue due to me being close set. Wires were a little wide for my roots but it was still wearable. Just not quite right for me.

UGH! I need to find this bra in a 28G! I got it in a 28FF, the band was a bit too tight but it was workable. The cups were a whole different story though, perfect width, but not enough depth. Now in a 30FF, the band is too loose on the tightest hook, and the cups are too wide. However they're the right depth for me, I really want to find this in a 28G, for a good price though. I got this one on sale, I could never justify paying the full price for it though.

Not the right size. Overall the cup is too big, but the bottom of the cups are too tight and not projected enough. I didn't realize this was recommended more for FOT folks. I think if it was the right size it would be decently comfortable, except for the bottom breast compression. The top of the cup is completely open, there is no point where it sits flat on my chest (which sometimes happens, even is the top of the cup is otherwise wrinkling). Gave it "okay" quality because there are some threads that are poking out, and parts of the embroidery have little tufts (loose ends) ,but the bra seems fairly well made.

Thank you for posting pics with the white tank top. I wondered if those little dots would show under clothing since they are a contrasting color. Why can't companies just make "nude" bras all one solid color? Don't they realize those cute little details in contrasting colors defeat the purpose of a truly invisible nude bra?
Thanks for your review, as always! :)
