FINALLY a bra that actually fits me and doesn't give me a quad boob! I really love this bra, particularly because it brings my girls together and creates some cleavage as I have wide set boobs that never meet! It stays in place the whole day and doesn't move about! However, I still have the feeling of 'Oh, I'm wearing a bra!'. This is because the band is very very short and I'm only able to wear it on the last hook (I know its supposed to be like that but it's pretty uncomfortable). Due to the tight band, my back fat sticks out when I wear this bra sadly so I don't actually reach for it very often. The top of the bra shows through my t-shirts which is a boo because the whole world can see my bra no matter how much breast tissue I stuff into the cups to reduce the outline of the bra... Otherwise, it's great a GREAT bra and I recommend this to ladies with larger girls like me!

A bra band should only be as tight as needed (to prevent it from riding up or otherwise moving about), NOT as tight as possible. Also, unlike bra bands, ribcages do not come in fixed 5cm/2" increments. Not only that, but also the amount of "squish", as well as, for example, how much your ribcage expands with breathing, and how projected/heavy your breasts are (relatively) determine how tight you can COMFORTABLY wear your bras. Finally, if a bra has even slightly flexible wires, wearing it one set of hooks looser or tighter can make a lot of difference in terms of cup shape. Anyway, whatever your bra band feels like, it should not be uncomfortably tight. If it does, try an extender. It may be just a matter of breaking in, in which case you can move to the last set of hooks later on, or maybe this band really just is a tiny bit too tight for comfort :)

I will echo the band should be snug but not too uncomfortably tight. Imagine trying to wear that for 8-10 hours? It will be bothersome in no time. Go up in the band and the cups will fit better too. They distort on too tight bands.

I'm glad you like the Cleo Neve! It's a great bra.

    • MilkAndHoney It may be a matter of breaking in - I only got the bra a couple of months ago so I'll probably have to wear it more! Thanks so much for the helpful advice! :)

roxannelovesbras Thats really true - it's my first time buying Cleo by Panache bras so I went with my normal sizing... I'll probably get an extender or go up a band size for this particular brand! Thanks so much for the advice! ^_^

Holy cow this is a tight band!!! (as many others have said). Also as many others have said, there is a cup flaring issue that tends to happen on one side.
Whatever it is, the weird cup edge is blatantly obvious under shirts; see my pic in the yellow t-shirt. As much as I tried to rationalize keeping this bra, I saw that picture and decided I'm not going to walk around in public like that.

Unfortunately, for those reasons, this bra has to go back...which is a huge shame because it really should be the perfect bra. I do love that the cups don't have ... all that heavy padding in them... the foam is relatively thin, flexible, and comfortable. It's too bad.

*** NOTE per SOPHISTICATED PAIR website:
"Neve suffered from defects during its initial run where the cup would crease outward near the center; however, I have been assured that the problem has been rectified."

    ** EDIT **
I've ordered a 32D. I liked this bra so much that I wasn't ready to write it off yet. I thought more about the cup curling and realized that the curl was happening on my larger side, and a few other reviewers said the same thing. I checked out the cup depth of bras that fit me well, like my 28E - Cleo » Jude (5846) and my 30D - Cleo » Jo (5696) , and the depth on those (7.3" and 7.0", respectively) is at least 1" more than this Neve which measures only 6" deep. I then looked up the one 32D Neve on Bratabase and it seems to be more on par with my Jude and Jo, so I'm giving that size a try. Will post updated review when I receive the replacement.

    ** EDIT II **
New review posted and the 32D fits! Check here: 32D - Cleo » Neve Plunge T-shirt Bra (7196)

I absolutely love this bras. This is probably the closest bra that I have to my old VS bras. However I'm 90% sure it doesn't fit! but neither do my VS bras. This one at least is tight in the band.
The straps do seem to be digging in at the longest.
The little decorative design at the top will show through tight shirts.

After wearing this for a few minutes I can tell it won't be comfortable for me.

Sooooo. Long story with the bra : was one of my first "serious" ones.
    At first :
I was a 30D, and the bra was more or less O.K. Bras like this one never quite fit on the top (for me), but that was pretty much everything. Took me a while to get used to the sternum and the band. However, it was GREAT on the sides.

    But now.
Well, I guess it got a bit old, and I changed a bit. The band is too loose (I sometimes even need to put it back in place) and the top issue got worse. however, it's currently still confortable to wear.

However : The marks I get when I leave it allow me to see that the cups are quite low compared to my breast (and I need them to be, or it used and still do get uncomfortable), and I'm wondering whether this mean it didn't really fit or it's a normal thing... ?

    • Since you changed Maybe your boobs are heavier or bigger and pushing the band down. Or the band is too/big could be why it's slipping down.

    • 1

marks being too low could also be that the bra is too shallow in the bottom, and your breasts push them down. but if the bra band is also loose, im more inclined to think that's the issue.

Thank you for you help !! :D

    • frenchshallow No problem! Actually it's really fun helping. I am constantly learning different things about bras and how different all us women are in the boob department. It's a fun hobby. I like it! <3
