So, after I purchased and tried this bra in 32E (which cups didn't fit by far!) I ordered the same bra, but in 32FF and in a different color (purple). First of all, I have nothing much more to say about the design, it's simple but pretty, lightweight, well-cut and gives a really nice lift and round shape. The lace details of the top cup don't show much under a t-shirt, but a little. The color is really great and intense ! I love it (I'm fond of purple).
About the fit, now: it fits like a charm !! No quad-boobs effect ! No cutting into breast's tissue, the underwires ...are comfortable and not too high on the side (I'm not tall: 1m52 and the height of the sides is important for my comfort). The back band is perfectly adjusted, not too tight and firm. I love this bra ! Even more when you know it's my FIRST well-fitting bra. Before, I'd wear a 95F, which was wayyyy too big for me on the back size :/
I find only one small issue with it: the centre gore is a liiittle tight on my chest (not on the top) and you'll see in the pictures, it makes my skin a bit red. But I didn't wear it or wash it yet, so it may change or if it doesn't, I may become more used to it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Anyway, I'm keeping it and I'm sure it will become my fav bra ! The cups don't fit great but not sure if it's a question of just size or style as well. I can really feel the wires on my ribs and the band feels too tight overall even on the loosest hook. This also doesn't feel supportive enough, seems like the straps are holding me up.
This is a very pretty bra and I really wanted it to fit. The cups were too small and the band was uncomfortable because the top of the center gore dug in and it was too tight all around. It did not provide enough lift to make me want to try it in a larger size.
The fabric of this bra is wonderful and soft, nothing pokes me, and I love how colorful it is. I could wear this bra all day- it lifts well, but is a little on the wide side. I have gaping at the top of my larger breast and can't seem to keep it sitting right under my breasts - it keeps sliding down my rib cage and gives me an orange-in-a-glass-effect. I suspect I have a larger band than I need.
I've owned this bra for 3 months now, and it's still going strong - doesn't seem to have stretched out a lot, nothing is poking out, and the little bow and lace around the edges are still intact. Overall, a very cute and supportive bra (if I got the right band size!)
I could not fill out the top of this style, but the cup size did seem to be accurate. The wires were too wide for me, and the front of the straps were digging into the front of my armpit. I really tried to love this bra, but it just didn't work for me.
I think I'm too full on top for this bra, I'm curious to try a 32G though and see how it fits.. I'm thinking it might make a difference. Since the cups feel quite snug and I quadboob. I love the purple color - it's so nice having straps to match outfits!
I really love this bra and it's very pretty but the gore is too high for how close together my breasts are. It digs into my breast tissue and can be really painful if I wear it a long time.
This bra seems like it would be really comfortable, but the cups run small so there's a lot of spilling for me. The straps also dig in, but that's probably because the cups are too small.
This bra fits beautifully in every direction. I had to add an extender only because the loosest setting was a little *too* tight, but it'll soon stretch out not to be a problem. This was the first bra I tried on, and I had no idea what to expect, so I initially found all of these "problems", but nope, no problems at all! (Although the straps are weirdly small; I couldn't extend them if I wanted to.)
I bought the Juna to try because it received rave reviews from those with shallow breasts, which I think mine are. Unfortunately, the Juna in this size didn't fit very well at all.
On the positive side, the fabric of the Juna is nice and doesn't irritate my skin, and the padding and vertical seams gave me a good shape and lift underneath clothes. The band felt comfortable and didn't dig in.
The downside for me is that the tops of the cups gap like crazy, especially on my smaller side and near the center gore. The cups and the straps go too wide toward the ...top so that the cups and straps dig into my arms when they are at my side.
The most unfortunate problem for me was that the underwire came up too high in the center; it dug into my sternum quite painfully, and since I don't have a lot of fullness or volume in the center of my breasts, there was significant gaping at the center gore. The gore is also too wide for my closer-set breasts. I'd recommend looking at the cup separation measurements listed on Bratabase for the Juna and measure the distance between breasts on yourself to see if it will work for you.
I really wanted to like this bra because I desperately need a t-shirt bra, but it just didn't work with my shape.
The band is very firm. I prefer this (as I measure 26" as tight as possible) but it may be uncomfortable for true 28 bands. I also would not recommend this bra for shallow girls, which is common in this size range. I have an unusual amount of projection for this size range and am pretty even in terms of fullness and still have difficulties filling out the top, which is a shame because I absolutely love this pattern. The lace is very stiff so it would definitely be noticebale if there was any more wrinkling than I currently experience. I wish they would make a Juna cut with the Meg pattern! Anyway, this bra is 100% for full on top girls, which is rare in this size range so shallow or full on bottom girls should probably steer clear.
This bra is still so gorgeous and the fabric is so soft. Unfortunately the size is too big for me though it is not way too big. The shaping on this bra even in this too big size is doing a great job of lifting my drooping rather empty boobs. The wires in this size are too wide for me as well. I will be returning this bra with the hope of finding one in the right size for me.
I purchased this bra because it was on sale at Bravissimo. I got a 32E size because I was mislead on the "translation" of bra sizes between French sizes (I was fitted a 85F in a Freya full cup bra) and UK sizes. I should have got at least the 32F instead ! When I received it, I was really happy about the fresh, bright color of this bra, even though I was a little nervous about it showing it underneath tops...
But when I tried it on I was super super disappointed ! I know it's part my fault for getting the wrong cup size but this bra gave ...me a major quad boobs effect. Apart from that, the band was snug but not too tight, supportive, the fabric is really light-weight and soft, sheer but not transparent. I don't think the pattern will show underneath a top. It gave my boobs a nice round shape, and the straps don't seem too much stretchy, and stay in place. What I really like about this bra too is that the underwires are not hidden in fabric excess that can rub against my skin and turn under my boobs... those are covered in just the right amount of fabric (that is not itchy). Plus the wires don't poke my arms (nor does the central gore). Overall it feels like a comfortable and good-looking bra, but I can't say that for sure as I just tried it on for 5 mn...
I am sending this one back sadly but I will get it (in purple) in 32FF as I think 32F won't maybe get all of of my boobs inside the cups... Read more 167 more words
Well constructed, vertical seams, lightly padded. The cups fit me perfectly. The lace doesn't always lie completely flat, especially at the gore, so it's not the perfect t-shirt bra. But, it's the most darn near perfect fit I've had.
The pattern is sweet and adorable. I was more concerned with trying this shape of Cleo then I was with the pattern, but it is much more attractive in person. I love the navy and red combo.
very nice balconnette lift, good fill in cups, comfortable band/straps. gore was uncomfortable at first but is getting better. smooth cups can wear under tshirts. wish there were cleavage.
