Whoa what a sexy bra. This bra is cute off the body but once you put it on - yikes - this is the sexiest shape any bra has given me... ever.

The Alexa runs big so I originally bought this in my go to size for Cleo (28GG) and almost overlooked the fit because I loved the look on.

The Alexa has almost no stretch in the cups. Actually if it has any at all I'd be amazed. The band is a great 28 band - firm but not restrictive and comfortable to wear. It's true to size. The cups really pull your boobs dead on - there's absolutely ... no east/west spread going on here. And once your boobs are facing forward, covered in the dark Alexa fabric - very slimming and sexy. The cups are very uplifting and round rather than pointy. From the center seam that runs across your nipples the top horizontal pieced section almost runs back towards your chest at a right angle.

I'd be very interested to see how this goes on ladies that are full on top and full towards their collar bones, because my boobs are full and fleshy especially towards the center of my chest, but I don't have a lot going on on my sternum and at underarm level. Does this mean I have "shallow" breasts I'm not sure but I'd swear the Alexa was designed for me.

It doesn't cut in at all. In the 28G it cuts in just a tiny bit if I breath in deeply but it's wonderful. Love this bra. Just love it. Can't wait to get it in a million colours.

Highly recommend. Try it in 1 cup size down from your norm!

    Didn't fit

This bra comes from VioletIridescence and is one of the bras I have been super curious about over the last year and a half. I considered getting a 30E from eBay once when I was smaller.

This is definitely an interesting style. It’s pretty old and among the only seamed half cups from Cleo that I’ve ever seen. It’s also from the era which has male names for the styles. I’m sure there’s a good reason why they have bras named Harry and George.

I was a little worried about it being too small in the band because it is a 28 instead of a 30, but it ... looked like it was at the lower edge of my stretched band comfort zone. It simultaneously fits and does not fit. I don’t think I have any problem with the actual band tension, but it’s quite a bit of pressure on my sternum as a result. I’m not sure if it’s a painful gore simply because it’s a bit tight in the band, too tall of a gore, or if it’s the trademark hard Panache/Cleo wires. It’s likely a bit of everything.

The cups of this one are too tall for me by a half inch or so, I think. My roots are functionally short because I have softer, deflated upper tissue. It’s not gaping a ton, though it is more noticeable on my small side. One thing that I have noticed is that I am sort of flattened in the middle near the gore. Is this a sign that it’s not deep enough for my center full tissue at the gore? I’m also getting a bit of a compressed look from the side, though I’m honestly not mad about that. It’s a good thing under specific tops, I think. Sometimes you don’t want to be looking like a bra tent. Wires are pretty good. Maybe a touch wide, but within my comfort level. Cup depth seems optimal so I don’t think it would fit better in a size down. It’s a tiny bit shallow on me which might be the 28 band. It’s still pretty projected at the wire, I think.

The aesthetics of this bra are stunning! I’m not usually a fan of white bras, but it’s got some pretty buttercup yellow and powder blue embroidery and the straps have a nice split detail on the straps. The half cup shape is really beautiful! I just adore how it looks.

Sadly, I don’t think it is right for me. I think I might have to take a break from Panache/Cleo as I am just not feeling well with the hard wires anymore. Not sure if it’s just summer or what, but I just don’t think I can tolerate it. I don’t think my measurements have changed but I’m due to remeasure.

I’m going to pass this set on, I think. I am just too sensitive for it right now.

What a sweet pattern! So delicate and charming! Too bad it's not working for you right now. I want to say also, I love your curls!

    • Pinniped thanks! It’s a really sweet pattern on the bra and my loose curls add a bit of a romantic look. But I actually cut like 3-4” off last Saturday and it’s quite a bit shorter now. Very summery and light and fun, but my curls do tend to form the longer my hair is, so it’s not quite as curly now, but is still wavy with just enough length for the ends to helix spiral (except for random straight bits where the curls begin lower down). And with the length off, my waves start higher than before.

    • Weather app lied and it was hotter outside than I expected, so I was pretty hot when I got home from the salon. I got undressed to change to something lighter and I caught my reflection in the mirror with the sun on my hair with my Ingrid on and it was great, so I snapped a picture. Naturally, I’ve covered my face since I am in my bra here. Here’s what it was like when I got home. Bear in mind it’s almost always breezy here so it’s easily tousled.

Lovely waves, so pretty in the sunlight! I had a hairdressing catastrophe back in February. 😩 It'll be probably another six months before my hair is back to the length I want, but at least I'm getting some good curls back now. (I like how you color-coordinated your face with the wall, haha!)

    • I hear you. Curly cuts can be traumatizing. I d wager it’s harder for wavy hair than curly and straight hair since we have our own drum beat. But, I’m very fortunate to have finally found a good stylist. This was my second hair cut with her. The first was quite conservative as she had not played with my hair before and was learning about it. This time, I consulted with her at least 3 times before cutting it this short. She said I was brave to do something shorter like this (because she loves my hair...lots of people love it long). She was really excited to see it short, she was practically squeeing. I was in a bit of shock, naturally. I’ve washed it once so far, and it’s a learning curve about how to preserve overnight, as I’m afraid that a pineapple might stretch out the bottom layers that are spiralling some. I have a puff cuff coming in and I was told to look into buffs. It’s feeling super light and summery for sure.

    • I always liked this bra too, but could never find an old one in my size. It's pretty, so it's too bad it didn't work out for you.

    • 2

Wilderness1 If you are interested in it, I would be happy to trade with you. You can handle the tighter band better than me, and I think you might have a little more upper fullness than I do. Cups might still be a tad too tall, but I suspect that it might fit you better than me.

    • Calluna thanks for the offer, but I just lost a few pounds and now my boobs are quite a bit smaller. It would be too big for me for sure!

    • Oh not to worry! I understand!

    Didn't fit

    My stats for reference:

5'3, 28G.5, FOT, tall and narrow roots, center full, projected, average to high set, short torso, 25" waist.

    Look:
This bra is absolutely adorable! The blue is super rich and would be flattering for many skin tones, unlike the cotton candy pink color. I don't think the green bow at the center gore is very complementary, but it's not terrible. The eyelash lace at the bottom of the front would definitely curl over if I sat down in it for too long. I wonder if I can iron lingerie?

    Fit:
The band definitely runs super snug in this. It seems like it would fit someone directly ... between a 26 and 28 band. The cups fit like most cleos which are touted for being FOT-friendly (even though this bra is generally recommended as a FOB bra); they dig into my upper boobs, creating some serious quadboob. The cups are too wide and shallow for me, the wire is sitting about .5" below my lowest IMF, so my boobs are fighting their way to the top. I may not have had such severe quadding if I was shallower. The wires sit about 1" away from the end of my root. So overall, I have the polar opposite of orange-in-a-glass (is there a term for that?). The longline hits just above my waist, which is good because I have almost no space between my ribs and hips. I was so worried that this longline would dig in and hurt, I'm pleasantly surprised by this bra. The waist is definitely snug, so if you have a larger waist in proportion to your band size, this bra isn't for you.

      Such a beautiful color!
I love the look of Piper and have been tempted to buy one, but yeah I've heard this is apparently a 'hard to fit' style?

      Too bad because it's gorgeous.

    • bubblegum I know, right? It's so beautiful, but it fits practically no one. I had to take it off after less than 15 minutes of wear from the straps rubbing and the wide gore. Thank god I didn't take the tags off for my "trial period". I'll probably have to list it :(

    • 1

From what I've read, this one is more FOB friendly/short root friendly compared to some other Cleos (Marcie, etc). I've seen it fit a number of people well, but it does have a specific fit. It's quite a pretty bra, so it's too bad it didn't work for you.

    • 1

I think the longline also makes it a bit tricky, even if the cups fit well. You have to have enough torso for the length, and your torso has to taper in the right way. I think other color ways have a shorter extension, which might accommodate people who are short or short waisted.

That color is lovely and looks nice with your skin. Pity it was not a better match for your shape.

    • 1

Wilderness1 Yeah, I heard that too, but the cups fit almost identically to the 30FF cleo marcie I tried. I'm super bummed that it didn't fit though :(

    • AllyBra I agree wholeheartedly. I'm short with a short torso and it just wasn't for me. I think it would work for someone who is FOB and short rooted, with a long torso and an hourglass shape. So, basically a lingerie model, lol. Thanks for telling me about the other colors being shorter! I might look into them, but I love the blue so much.

    Didn't fit

I have wanted a Lily for over a year now. Specifically, this print. I finally found a 30F Aqua Lily here for cheap a few months back, but said Lily was a titch too small, so I’ve been searching for a larger cup size. Then I found this sister size. Which was a gamble with a smaller band. I waited in anticipation for this bra. My tracking number was positively infuriating. Then, rather by surprise, when I’d been complaining about it taking so long and no updates for days, it suddenly appeared in my mailbox!

It’s a beautiful, gorgeous bra. I love the print and the shape and everything! ... It’s my mythical unicorn bra. 🦄 Except for the size. I knew that it was a gamble from the start with the 28G as I was told by the seller that the band was 28”... a number that also coincides with my snug under bust measurement. The 28G is technically my size based on measurements, but I am also a sub 32 band and I’m one that can’t do a lot of squish...I can fit loose 28s or tight 30s sometimes needing 1 row of hooks from an extender, but this one requires a full extender and I’m super worried that the tension is going to damage the hooks and pull them out...my 30F navy Marcie already has hooks that look like they want to come loose and I’ve been wearing with the extender mostly with 1 extra row of hooks (but at one point was 2) for nearly a year now. And that one stretched to 28.5” new where this Lily was a hard pull to 28” to the point I marked at 27.5” but feel like it’s closer to 27”.

The cups fit pretty well when I have it on without the extender, but I’m definitely getting a bit of gapping when I have the full extender in use. My smaller boob has some gapping regardless, but is exaggerated the further the hooks are. And I definitely can’t wear it that tight more than a few minutes at a time. But I need the tension for the best cup fit. All the pictures are with no extender, btw.

I’m still going to keep my search for the 30FF (possibly 30F in one of the larger fitting colours/prints) and hopefully find something that will work, because it’s so beautiful and it’s a great shape and fit for me. In the meantime, I have my contingency plan for this bra that I am pursuing. I’m glad I scoped out an option before I bought this bra. I was a lot more confident knowing that I had a plan for it if it didn’t work, and I was afraid that it might not.

Sad to see it go away again so soon, but I’ll be getting something that I know will fit. So it’s still a win.

Please have look at this beauty and weep with me that my rib cage is just a little bit too big for it...

    😓

When I first saw the thumbprint photos, I thought it was a chili pepper print and I was so excited. 😍 It is still very pretty!

Sorry it wasn't a perfect fit for you. Hopefully another will come along soon that will be. 💙

    • 1

Thanks. I am a bit sad. I mean, I could keep it and wear it out, but I am afraid that I will wear the hooks out before I even get to use the loosest hooks on the bra. Wearing the extender using one row of hooks is fine, but I don’t want to use the whole thing. Especially when I can trade it for something that I know is going to fit.

    • 1

I wish I could think of a way to stretch the band out quickly without distorting the wires or risking hook damage in the process.

If the only concern is the hook connections, you could always add a few stitches to the hooks & eyeloops to strengthen them, right?

No worries though, I'm sure another one will surface soon and it will fit you perfectly. 💙

    • 1

It's very pretty and this colour definitely suits you well. Too bad about the band :(

    • 1

Sorry it didn't work out. Hope 30FF shows up soon!

    • 3

Thanks. I’m swapping it for an Ewa. And who knows, maybe after the person who I’m swapping with wears it out, it might be stretched out enough to swap back. I am sad but confident in my decision to keep looking for the best fit of the Lily.

    • Update: I’ve added some new daylight pics with and without the extender so you can see the difference in the cups and possibly see the strain on the hooks with the extender (just imagine it worse on the hooks without...maybe I’ll redo that picture later)

Apologies for the slightly lower picture quality...they were taken with my iPad which is older than my phone so it’s not as good of a front facing camera, but I can use the case to stand it up hands free and use the timer. Sooooo.....

I’ll see if I can add more pics later to include more details.

    • Full back shot without the extender is up. I don’t know how well the strain is showing.

    • 1

This looks perfect on you. Too bad the band doesn’t work. But it’s funny how it doesn’t even look tight compared to this one: http://bra.pe/X0Ur/

Don’t worry about the hooks. They look strained even worse on most of my bras. I just pushed them back in and bend them a little wider at the bottom and they haven’t come out once even on bras that I can’t get on without my boyfriends help.

If you are still looking for a 30F there is this:

      https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cleo-by-Panache-Lily-Underwired-Non-Padded-Balcony-Bra-7351-Aqua-Pink/192822394791?hash=item2ce51c3fa7:m:mP6IqScNP83ZJ5GfWI5MIlg:rk:3:pf:0#shpCntId

    • Thanks aboobaccount I actually have a 30F in aqua which is a little bit too small which is why I opted to try this one even though I was a little bit concerned about the band being too tight.

This review is for the Bluebell colorway. It's an incredibly pretty shade of pale bluish lavender, but no sooner than the mailman delivered it to me and was on his way back down the driveway, I got to work removing the horrible bright orange trims that (in my opinion) clashed horrendously with the beautiful color! I replaced the gore bow with a lavender one and am satisfied with the finished result https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Unfortunately the strap adjusters and hooks are still an obnoxious shade of orange, but you can't tell from the front so it doesn't personally bother me.

As for the fit, the ... band on this colorway definitely runs loose. My snug underbust is 28," but I have only ever purchased unlined Cleo bras in a 30 band because a 28 is usually way too restricting and uncomfortable. After reading jlcl119 's review, I decided to size down though and am so glad I did... it's perfect on the loosest hook. That said, I really hope it doesn't stretch out quickly. I've owned Marcie in a couple different colorways now, but have forgotten how phenomenal the shape is! Super round and lifted, lightweight and perfect beneath clothes. The wires sit and stay in my IMF, and the lace is filled out nicely without any wrinkling or overflow. There's the tiniest hint of in-cup quadding near where the three cup panels connect, but I think that's just due to the difference in firmness between the lower and upper parts of the cup. As it doesn't show under tops, it's negligible to me. Overall I'm very happy with this bra and look forward to getting lots of use out of it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I reordered this in a 28F when I found it on sale and I did the exact same thing you did. That trim was horrid, and I replaced my bow with a giant white one.

    • agcn589 Thanks! jlcl119 Oh, I really like the combo with the white bow too! No idea what motivated the choice of that terrible orange trim, but then again Cleo's design choices are sometimes a little inexplicable, for sure!

    QUALITY:
The quality was excellent as usual. All of the seams felt solid and smooth, the fabric looked nice, etc. The magnet clasp was pretty smooth as well, and I didn't feel like it was a weak point in the bra. It had edges made so it wouldn't slip and unhook. The whole bra felt solid like Panache bras usually do.

    DESIGN:
This bra is just ridiculously cool. I just love the design so much! Which is why i was heckin disappointed when it didn't fit anywhere near wearability for me. Absolutely love the design. All the fabric was strategically placed and the stretch lace had a really nice pattern. ... The overall bra impression is nice, I really like how it looks, the color, the fabric, the structure, everything. Especially the style of the back with the lace panels was really cool! But this also makes the straps not fully adjustable, which might be an issue for some people.

    FIT:
I ordered this in a 28G and when it arrived I had just measured myself to a 30F, so I had to use an extender to try it on. It wasn't a great fit - my shape is very round, narrow, full in center and on the sides, even vertical fullness. I need bras that have a fairly high cup edge and a very rounded shape with a lot of immediate projection.
I don't remember accurately what the immediate projection was like in this bra, but it was definitely a shape mismatch. The Cleo Atlanta has much more of a Plunge style shape than a Balconette style shape, but this wasn't really specified anywhere as the bra was really new and didn't have a lot of reviews or talk in the bra circles.
Plunge styles generally don't work for me, the bottom of the cup wrinkles and i spill out the front. That was the case for this bra as well. Stretch lace isn't' really that helpful as I've come to realize over the years, and it was of no help here. The cups didn't have enough of a round, uplifting shape so my boobs were resting in the bottom of the cups and pushing them out from my body. In the side pictures you can see this happening.

The straps when clasped over the shoulders weren't super comfortable, and while they weren't directly UNcomfortable, it just wasn't super comfortable. The clasp was easy enough to clasp I think, but it was harder to unclasp than I'd thought.

Thoughts: Was really bummed out that this bra didn't fit since it was so incredibly cute in the photos. A good bra, but not for me.

    Some custom measurements:
    Strap length at max: 21.5cm
    Strap length at min: 12cm
    Lace panel length: 17cm
    Magnet clasp strap: 18.5cm

Can I just say I appreciate that someone else is not particularly aided by stretch lace? People talk about how magical it is (sincere yay for them), but I have never had a bra fit better because of it. I am not alone after all!

The color looks very nice on you, shame the fit was not more to your liking.

    • 1

AllyBra Big mood! I'm so glad we're not alone, I've definitely seen people be happy about stretch lace, but unfortunately it's not a match for me.

Thank you! I was SO disappointed when it didn't fit. I still love the design.

Did you see the Bravissimo Jenna bra posted to the BTB front page today? It has a similar back but looks as though it might have more supportive cups. Maybe it would work?

AllyBra I am one that stretch lace can and can’t work for me. Unlined stretch lace like the Ewa BM/SF or the Panache Clara/Envy/Jasmine is fine. Like, just stretch lace. It’s where the cups have a stretchy elastic or plastic piece at the cup edge that doesn’t work well with my soft tissue.

My shape: mid-height front-facing teardrop-profile (ski jump with no "jump") with tall shallow roots, low apex, lots of immediate projection underneath but moderate overall projection, wide roots with lots of side fullness and shallow tails that wrap all the way to the shoulder blade, extremely close-set center tissue (possibly a trace of natural symmastia), and very firm self-supporting tissue that when pushed out of shape will push right back.

This review is for the Tangerine colorway I purchased from Zulilly.

Such an interesting and bright color! It's a very saturated orange-pink, like red grapefruit. I'm not sure it's for me, though. The bra is pretty enough, I suppose, but I ... have never really liked the aesthetic of the sheer upper panel with opaque lower ones.

Well, I still haven't found a T-seam cup that works with my shape. The upper cup panel is a too roomy but closes too soon, so if I sized down to a 28FF/30F, I think I'd get faux-quad-boob and still not fill it out. The apex is slightly too high for me, but this isn't necessarily apparent in the photos because the buckling of the vertical seam and the cup fabric shifting down to find more space (due to insufficient immediate projection, or depth at the wire, which I need more of). It looks like there's also not enough depth around the gore, which is not something I usually have issue with, being side-full, and I think might cause lots of center-full ladies some issues. The sides are tall enough to contain all my tissue, but I do like quite tall cups, so others sensitive to armpit chafing should take that with a grain of salt.

There is about 2cm of space in the wire channels, which I used gratefully to push the wires out toward the wings. It makes the gore, which is otherwise slightly too-wide and a bit pokey, float artificially and is much more comfortable. If I were keeping it, I would tack them in place so they can't slide back! They are nice and wide and comfy, too steep for my Nike swooshes but not uncomfortable, and not too hard.

The band is too tight. That's pretty rare! It couldn't ride down out of my IMF because it was so snug, so true 28s or even ladies on the edge of 26, this might work for you!

I've had lots of trouble lately with several of my new bras having scratchy wings. Maybe it's just me, or maybe this one would go away with the first wash, but this one is no exception. Curiously, I don't think it was the tag, though, so I'm not sure removing it would help.

Dear Cleo, please teach Freya how to position their straps. These are great! Not in my armpits is always nice.

    This one is getting listed.

    Hasn't set fit

Another obscure Ebay find! I came across this beautiful bra for a great price and decided to try it because I was curious how it fit as compared to the newer Cleo balconettes. Surprisingly, it was still new with tags. Harry is an early model Cleo manufactured a long time before I even found ABTF & the world of bra-fitting, so it must've either been old stock or just sat in someone's closet forever.

The design is very lovely: semi-sheer white mesh cups with pale blue/yellow flowers and lacy tendrils. The straps have a pretty split detail and matching blue bows. I so prefer the sweetly feminine and ... understated look of Cleo's older models to the radioactive neons they use now! The band is TTS, versus Cleo's newer 28 bands that often run small. The wires are similar in width to my Marcie and Lily, and there's a decent amount of room at the center gore for inner fullness. There's some minor wrinkling near the wire on my larger side, which might suggest that there's not quite enough immediate projection for me. However, the shape it gives is great, very round and purple. Whereas Lily collects my tissue aggressively from the sides so that when I look down at my boobs they appear to have a slight projectile look, Harry distributes my tissue evenly across my chest. The result is an ever so slightly wider appearance from the front than in Lily.

I was a bit nervous to try this bra because I have so far only found freya bras that fit my shape but was happy to find this one is also a keeper!

    bra review:
The shape works for me. I am close set and full on bottom. While I would say this bra would is built a bit more for even fullness and not super close set, It still works great for me. I notice that there is a tiny bit of fabric underneath (maybe 1/2 cm) so if you are looking for something with a lot of immediate projection this probably won't give it to you. At the ... top it tends to come in a bit to really hold you in there, unlike my freya pansy. I like this in someways as I feel more secure but if my boobs grow, it will probably cause quad boob. The straps are not too far apart, and sit perfectly on my shoulders, never falling off.

As for the quality, it seems very sturdy. The material is a bit more stiff than I expected but it is not at all uncomfortable. I really like that the solid material covers the nipples. I also love the polka dots. While I normally tend to stay away from them as I feel like I am wearing a 15 year old's bra, this one has a very mature and sexy look to it still and the rose detailing on the top is beautiful.

For a 28 I would say it is definitely on the tighter side. But being a person of small band size, I would rather buy a tighter band and get an extender than have a band stretch out and be too big after a couple months.

Overall: I love this bra and will definitely keep it in my regular cycle. To people wanting to purchase it, I would go for the bigger band size of sister sizes as the band runs small.

Well, this was my SECOND attempt at the Marcie, and my FOURTH attempt at Cleo....I think it's safe to say we will not be getting along. I'm so bummed, because I really wanted this bra to work. It's just so cute and feminine, and simple. It would make a perfect summer bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The fabric is so light and airy, and the colors are fun and girly.

I first tried the Marcie in a 28FF, def too small in the cups. The top lace part of the cups were digging in and causing some quad boob (they're not very forgiving and stretchy, ... but much more so than the Lucy). So I thought the Marcie might work better with my even shape. Sadly, it did not. I decided to try a 28G next thinking the cups would fit much better and the top of the cups would lay perfectly against my boobs without digging in. It's not AS bad as the 28FF, but still digging in some. If I scoop n swoop it's even worse. It looks great from the front, but from the side/angle its a hot mess. It's such a horrible shape mismatch. Even worse when I put on a shirt!! Like a pointed, quad boob, squished mess. Lol. I'm not really sure, but it's just not gonna work.

The wires are def wider than I expected for being only one cup size up and came too far out under my arm. The gore digs into my sternum and the height is just too tall for my comfort. The straps don't seem to be placed right for my shape, too far apart. And the whole bra in general was just very uncomfortable to wear, and even put on. I had a heck of a time trying to loosen the straps and could barely get them to budge. It was way too difficult to adjust and actually hurt my hand.

I was thinking maybe if I tried a 28GG, or even a 30G I might get this to work, but I'd rather just concede at this point. It's just not gonna happen, Cleo and I are not meant to be https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

  12. Maddie Moulded T-shirt Bra (7201)

Cup height (measured up the center outside): 6.25"

I ordered this in both 28FF and 28G, having read that this model can run small, but now I think I'm toeing the line between 28FF and 28G (or, more accurately, 26G and 26GG) anyway.

The 28FF gives better (phenomenal!) cleavage for my short-rooted, high-set breasts; the 28G acts more as a full-coverage bra than a half-cup on me but fits better overall, I think. There's no gapping and it seems to follow the shape of my breast better than the 28FF, which feels like it's cutting in at the top a little prematurely, giving me some quadboob and thus enhancing the ... cleavage factor.

I wish I could have a good fit and good cleavage out of the same size, but I may end up keeping both of these for different purposes!

The band is nice and snug and the straps are thin and fully adjustable, which is wonderful for my high-set chest. However, I've noticed that the straps start to hurt if I have them as tight as I'd like on most bras (perhaps because they are so thin). I still get excellent support if I loosen the straps, so this isn't an issue.

The lacy part on the top of the cup doesn't show through tight, thin t-shirts, so this would be a good alternative to the Freya Deco Half-Cup, especially if you're sized out of that like me--I've been looking for something like this for some time.

Also, I have noticed that the thin fabric on the outside of the molded cup seems to catch on EVERYTHING--fingernails, jewelry, etc. I don't think this will affect the look of the bra and I can only tell when I get close (or when something catches), but it is something to keep in mind.

It is really hard to find a bra which fits me in both the back and the cup. In the case, the cup is too small. There is spillage though and I think I could have tried a GG, but the band in the 28GG was way too big. Even on this one the back is too big - it's not so big that it is unwearable, but I have to fasten it on the tightest setting already. And even on the tightest hooks, I can fit my hand under the sides and it rides up my back. My back is 25", so finding a bra that fits ... my bust and back is difficult. The wiring at the centre of the bra does tend to dig in a bit, but compared to others I have tried it is not too uncomfortable. A smaller back and bigger cup size would provide more support and a less flattened out shape, if this existed in a 26H I think it would be perfect. As it is the back is too big and the cup only just fits half of my breast, it's very literally a "half cup", so my nipples sometimes pop out of the top! Overall the fit is not good, but I love everything else about it.

edit - sadly this is now completely unwearable as the double-boob effect has reached new levels of terribleness! It's really unfortunate because it's a gorgeous bra and "true" balconettes are a great shape for me. I really wish the bands in this bra were smaller as then I would try a 28GG or even 28H, but there is no point trying a new size when the bands are so loose.

This bra is so girly and adorable! The gore seemed like it would be too seperate for me, but somehow it's at just the right height for it to work. This might change as I've only tried on the bra at the moment. The details on the straps are so pretty! This bra fits me perfectly, you'd never guess it by how pretty it is, but it's so comfy!

Like i wrote on the same bralette in 28FF - this is so cute and I love the design, but ultimately it doesn't fit me. The cups are too small in addition too the band being fairly tight. This bralette feels too tight because of how the breasts are pushing on the cups because they're too small, so the band or general feeling of the bra becomes artificially/deceptively tight. Full detailed review of this bralette is on the 28FF size.
They made the straps wider and added a hook so you can pull them together in the back, which is a great feature for many people out there ... with short torsos or very sloping shoulders.

This bralette wants to push my breasts to the outer sides of my chest, as if they were east-west pointing. That doesn't work for me at all, and is another reason that I fall out of it - my breasts are placed firmly on the middle of my chest, close together, and can only be pushed up and center (like a Cleo Marcie bra does).

On this bralette I measured the cup depth to 23.5cm. That's an increase of 2cm from the 28FF, which I measured to 21.5cm. Neither are enough for me personally, but these numbers (and subsequently the cups) are also smaller on average than other bras in this size. A Cleo Hettie in 28G has a cup depth of 26.5cm and a 28G Panache Jasmine has a cup depth of 27cm, and a 28G Freya Soiree Lace High Apex bra has a cup depth of 25.5cm.

I'm glad to have finally tried a Mimi. It looks and feels a lot like my Polish bras. The band is TTS for a 28, so just a little big on me. The cups are a good depth, but are a bit wider and taller than I need. I would love a bra with shorter cups, depth of about 9.5" and width about 4.7". Does anyone have any recommendations? Anyhow, this bra is a pretty good fit, supportive and quite comfy. It gives a great rounded and uplifted shape through clothes. I wish this (and all bras) came with cookie pockets, because I get a bit of gaping ... on my smaller side unless my back is straight. This bra can accommodate lots of centre fullness. The seams are almost perfectly flat, so I don't think they will show at all. The straps are not irritating and easily adjustable half way. The straps are wider set than I need, but I don't notice any irritation in my armpit. While animal prints aren't my favourite, I don't really mind it and I got it for a decent price on Amazon. I do like the orange accent stitching and bow. My breasts are narrow and short rooted, very soft and pendulous, bottom and centre full with lots of immediate projection.

    • So you don’t find this one to be shallow and wide? I have always heard that the spot and rose prints were narrow and deep like Polish bras but the animal print was not.

    • Wow Sonya, this is gorgeous! I haven't seen this print before - it is really lovely. It is the perfect animal print for animal print sceptics

    • I've always wanted to try this bra. This looks good on you! Do the straps adjust very long then? I have to have long straps for my tall frame.

Thanks, guys. I like this bra enough that I check Amazon regularly hoping for it to be on sale in another print.
Calluna- Nope, I don't find it to be shallow and wide. It has a depth of 9.5" and the width is 5.3, so actually narrower and deeper than my new Comexim 3HCs.
Wilderness- I still have about and inch or so of strap left, so not a ton. And I'm only 5'5" with a shorter torso. My breasts aren't high on my chest, though. If it worked, I bet you'd need them fully extended. If you try it, I'd suggest Amazon for the free returns.

    • I agree on this one! I had some quadding when I was a bit larger, and the cups are a bit wider than I need and the straps a bit wide, now that I lost weight it's one of my better fitting bras but not perfect, still a little wide. I dislike the print Mines in though. It's the blue wirh Polka dots, it feels kind of Juvenile, I'd trade this for a grey floral with anyone in a heart beat lol

This is my second attempt at a convertible bra since I remeasured; the first was the Freya Deco Delight Moulded Multiway Bra (1561) which, like all Decos, seems to be a shape mismatch for me (my review on that one is here: http://bra.pe/XQlT/ ) . I'd say I have wide roots of average height, self-supporting FOB, and the Koko Belle fits me beautifully whether worn conventionally or racerback.

(Note for anyone who had an eye on this bra and was confused as to whether or not it is actually multiway: It is. I went on a bunch of different websites before I purchased it trying ... to confirm this because some websites say it is and some don't mention anything about it being multiway at all, and for whatever reason none of the pictures on any sites show the clips on the straps that you can use to convert it, but they are there.)

This is a really beautiful bra. It's all red with deep purple hardware and a small purple bow on the gore. The gore and wings are both double layer: mesh on the inside that feels really nice and non-scratchy against your skin, and a pretty lace on the outside that doesn't snag shirts. The cups are satiny smooth, and the straps have these tiny, kind of shimmery embossed polka dots that are really cute.

This bra gives me decent lift and cleavage without squishing or flattening, and once I put it on and scoop everything in, I don't have to adjust it much during the day, which is a relief since I was constantly having to adjust the Deco. It's comfortable as well: the band is snug but not too tight, and the straps are fully adjustable. The gore sits where it's supposed to and doesn't rest on any tissue, and the underwire doesn't poke or rub anywhere (sometimes I'm conscious of it against my rib cage, but that's a problem I seem to have with all bras). It works under most cuts of shirts, including v-necks, although I did find that the inside edge of the cup at the top liked to peek out of my very lowest v-necks. It is a very bright red (they weren't playing any games when they named the colorway 'Poppy'), so I can't wear it under thin or very light colored shirts, but for the shirts that I can wear it with, it's amazing, and gives me a great shape overall, somewhat rounded but still natural-looking and not too projected. Of the many (many, many, many) bras I've tried over the past few months, this is definitely my favorite, along with the Cleo Maddie Moulded T-shirt Bra (7201) .

5/9/15: This review is for the color Cobalt Blue.

The fabric on this is a on the stiff and scratchy side, but I hope it will soften up after a few washings. The bottom portion of the cup consists of two layers of fabric. The wires are ever so slightly wide for me, but nothing I can't live with. The band is on the tight side but fits my 26" under bust extremely well. Rarely can I wear a bra on the loosest set of hooks. So if you measure 26" or below then this might work for you. The cups encase my breasts and give me a natural ... rounded shape. The straps are fully adjustable and have a firm stretch to them. Over all this is a decent bra and I can see myself wearing it often in the summer.

*I purchased this bra in hopes it would be as fabulous as my Lucy. But I have to say this bra is a little lower in quality in both fabric and fit. My Lucy bras were softer and better constructed. I also found that this bra was much smaller in the band compared to my Lucy despite the fact they were both a 28 band size.

    • Thanks for the heads up about quality and fit. It's surprising they didn't fix the tight band issue and maybe even worsened it when they made this "new" bra… On every online shop I saw the Lucy bra, they said to get a band size up from your usual, I'd have thought they would fix this on Kali…
About scratchy fabric, that's unfortunate because I loved the feel of the Lucy's… Has it softened with washings like you hoped ?

    • ColorfulVoid I didn't keep these. I washed them a few times but they just didn't feel as soft as the Lucy. Also, I gained a few pounds and they felt too tight in the cup and band. Over all this would have been acceptable in a better size, but it's not the Lucy.

    • I actually love the rare, super tight, snuggiest of the snuggest bands, maybe this will work for me. I'll have to give this a try. :D

Description: a purple molded-cup balcony style bra with black mesh overlay. Embroidered ribbons and check pattern on edges of the black mesh. Fully adjustable black straps with ruched ribbon detail on straps. Black mesh powernet band with 2 hook-and-eye closure.

Pros: The straps are fully adjustable and are thinner than most of my newer (/better fitting) bras. I appreciate the thinner straps because I will be able to hide them better during the summer with racerback or thin-strapped camis/tanks. I also feel as though they will be less of a hassle should I use a bra converter (again, thanks to the ruching and thinness). The ruched ribbon detail on ... the straps, while a bit of a pain at first to adjust, prevents the straps from loosening throughout the day. This bra doesn't poke or stab me under the arms and the center gore lies flat and does so without stabbing me as well. There is no quadboob (some with the larger breast, but a minor strap adjustment fixed that) or spillage and I feel secure in this bra. I can wear this with a v-neck,

Cons: It's a balcony-style bra, so the shape isn't my favorite, but I can see where in certain situations this bra will serve me better than others (office environments maybe?). It gives a "my-boobs-but-better" appearance under clothing and exaggerates my hourglass shape BUT it does give a little east/west point----not so much that my tatas are in my armpits, but enough to "push" an exaggerated figure 8 from the front (and make me think of torpedo-tits when I look down at my chest) and does flatten out the silhouette due to the lack of forward projection. The band is *FIRM* and runs a bit tight, I think. This may be causing some distortion of the cups/wires on me, but by the end of the day (even with an extender) the wires dig into my ribs HORRIBLY on my sides. I don't want to bend the wires because I think the overall effect of this bra is not the most flattering on me and I will probably let this one go in favor of the Cleo Marcie.
