This is probably the first seamed bra I tried that didn't end up giving me mild to major quad boob, didn't immediately feel itchy or painful anywhere else, and basically just seems to fit in terms of the cup shape and size. I really like the shape I get from it, but as someone else mentioned, the underwire is oddly short. It's working to my advantage a little, because the gore is really too high for me and at first I was finding after an hour or two I'd end up with itchy red marks on the skin between the breasts. So I've pushed the ...wires towards the armpits instead. Mostly this is working out, but I was finding that long periods of wear end up bothering me there now, especially if I'm moving more, but I find this more tolerable and easier to avoid than where it was pressing on my chest. But the cups otherwise seem to encase all breast tissue, so that's been great for me. It also confirms that my shape is more even-to-FOT, rather than FOB like I originally assumed.
I'd tried the 36E because it was a sister size to the 34F that is likely my actual size, and the 36E was available so I could easily check it out, unlike the 34F. I'm keeping it because it *was* on sale, but I've also ordered a 34F to try to see if that fit is even better. The 36 band is definitely large on me, and I found the Cleo Lily I got in 34 seemed to fit much better in the band (if not the cup). So I'm hopeful that the 34F will work even better. It is pretty. The lace shows through under tees. The straps do not adjust long enough for me. I will not wear or keep this bra as it cuts into my breast tissue on the sides and the straps cut in to my shoulders due to lack of length.
This bra simply just does not fit me. The cups are definitely too small. It also feels like I'm being squished to the front and center in a really weird way. I'm guessing a well fitting cup would fix that issue, along with the poorly fitting straps and band.
I guess on the plus side the strap sliders/adjusters won't slip out of place. And they're fully adjustable.
A great bra, just not for my shape. My breasts are full on top set close enough together that the plunge style just adds more cleavage than I want. I love the look of the design, but this bra turns me into a shelf and left me spilling out the front a bit. It would be great for someone who is shallower on top and looking for a molded cup with lift and forward gathering.
this is part of my remeasuring experiment into new sizes, to see if ive been wearing too small of a band and to large of cups. im getting this model in a few different sizes to compare, though i think this is supposed to run small in the cup so i may have chosen wrong. but, half cups are the shape that has always seemed to fit me best, and my options on amazon prime were limited.
i feel like the band is too large and the cups are too small. for starters, when i put this on backwards or forwards, i can hook it immediately on the ...tightest setting and it still feels a little bit loose. and then soon as i go to try and put it on frontways, it seems like i have to reeeeally work to scoop myself into the cups, they feel to narrow for my breasts to line up naturally. when i do get into the cups, the band suddenly feels snug, so im suspicious that the band is making up for some boob space. i also appear to be barely contained, and the side of the cups feel uncomfortable, so think the cup as a whole is too small. ive got a 36F on the way just in case im still wrong and i need a 36 band, but im skeptical. **EDIT** comparing them, the wires are only about a quarter inch narrower than the 34F, and the depth is also the same, so im not sure why they feel so much narrower.
the straps on this model i am not a fan of. they have to go to their max adjustment to fit me, and the thin-ness and material of the strap isnt comfy. theyre also wide spaced because of the half cup cut, but i dont know how much that would bother me since i dont intend to wear these past the try on for the review.
appearance wise, i LOVE this bra. the color combo and rose print are so pretty and elegant, the grey is beautiful. i sincerely hope i nail down my size in this and then find it on sale, cause its super gorgeous. Read more 257 more words
I was told the band of this bra is running tight. Therefore I bought a 36E instead of a 34F, but now it is too loose even on the tightest hook. I would not recommend going a band up with this bra, but instead using an extender if it fits to tight in the beginning.
This bra works for me, even if it might not be a perfect fit. I have asymmetric boobies, so the cups are a hint too small on my bigger breast and also slightly too big for the smaller one. Adjusting the straps can't fix it completly and going up 1 size causes wrinkling at the top and poking wires. So I guess I am just between the sizes.
The top was standing open, did not fill at all with my lower boobs. The tried two cups smaller since it seemed too big, but that was a mistake, very small. I have to try the 36D. Unfortunately the straps are waaaay too short, don't see how I can fix this. Too bad, because it didn't show under my clothes. Will have to try another model longline.
Love, love, love this bra! Despite the band being tight for size, this is the first bra that has fit me since pregnancy and nursing. It is super comfy, although lace was stiff at first. Truly wish this bra came in "everyday" colors-I must wear a lot of light colored tops and as a teacher of teens, I don't want my bra showing through, both as a model for the girls and not to distract the boys.
My girls are shallow, FOB. This bra gives great shaping, pulling in the sides, rounding, lifting from the bottom. After two months of wear, the band is still a bit tight, but due to migrated boob, need to go up a cup size.
For what it's worth, I am usually a 34FF, but I found a 36E of this bra on sale and it fits me perfectly. Great lift and rounded shape, beautiful pattern, and I'm a big fan of the fabric, which is very nice and smooth, not scratchy at all -- even the lace in the cups. There's not a lot of stretch in the fabric so it's not a forgiving style, I think I just lucked into having the exact right shape for the cups. I don't wear a lot of unlined bras (I like a little more fabric between my boobs and any potential cold drafts) but this is probably my favorite.
I have a lot of trouble with Cleo unlined bras, but this is one of the better styles for me. It gives a nice rounded, projected profile, and there's nothing overtly wrong with the bra, I just don't find myself reaching into the bra drawer for it unless I'm close to laundry day. I think it's a combination of the gore being slightly too high for me, the fabric being a tiny bit itchy, and the outer wires poking into the sides of my breasts as the day wears on (and the eternal dread of headlights in a cold breeze). That said, the parrots are a really cute and unique pattern! I normally wear 34FF but the two unlined Cleo bras that fit me best are both ones I have in 36E -- this one and Melissa.
I bought this in a sister size of mine, with the intention of altering it. The Aquamarine colourway is gorgeous! It's that perfect colour right in between blue and green. So precious.
Everything fits perfectly except the band is way, way too large. I love how easy it is to sister size up in Cleos: the cup measurements are the exact same as in 30G, only the band is bigger. The alteration should be done in a jiffy. I'll come back to review it further once I get it done.
So pretty! The lace on top doesn't lie flat against my breast, but under clothes it isn't a problem. I also have the Cleo Melissa, which fits me *perfectly*. This is a close second, if it weren't for the loose lace. I might trying sewing it down a bit to correct this.
This used to fit very well when I was 35 pounds heavier 4 months ago... now there is a whole bunch of nonsense happening all up in there. It is still a very good quality bra, though, and it looks very pretty.
My shape: soft, deflated, full on bottom with tall shallow top, measure to 36E
Pros: -Very round uplifted shape that looks great with shirts. -Half-cup style is well suited to my shape
Cons: -The band is tight, and I used an extender the first few times I wore it. I could close it without the extender, though it pinched. -The lace doesn't lay flat (apparently it is not supposed to) so the wrinkles show through thin shirts.
I love this bra. The navy/pink colorway is gorgeous. Gives nice shape but is very lightweight. Not smooth enough for very thin or clingy shirts. Has been comfortable to wear all day.
Cups seem to run large (I usually wear F), band is firm.
I had trouble liking this one. I haven't yet found a Cleo that I enjoy. The wires are just too tall, making the gore uncomfortable and the underarm wires stabby. I wore it for a few hours around the house but ended up returning it.
This is my favorite bra that I've ever had. It was a little tight at first but now it's extremely comfortable and is the only one that I have found that I can wear all of the time without my breasts hurting from a lack of support. The lace that is on the top edge of the cups makes it look like the cup is too big, but it just sticks out.
I don't understand the fit of this bra. I heard the band ran small so I ordered my sister size 36E when I usually wear 34F. The band fit comfortably on the loosest hook. The bottom 2/3's of the cup fits great but the lace on the top 1/3 seems like it was transplanted from a larger cup. The top of the cup is baggy for lack of a better term. It could be easily fixed with a tuck and a few stitches. However, the wire is weird too. It's like someone chopped off 1/2 inch of the wire before sewing ...it in. It moves around and leaves a gap either at the gore or the outer edge of the cup. The shape I get (if I ignore the problems) is awesome! Uplifted and perfectly rounded. The color is a bright beautiful red. The bottom of the cup is two pieces of polka dotted red on red mesh. The top 1/3 of the cup is an absolutely beautiful soft lace with bow, scallop and crosshatch embroidery detail. The center gore sports a cute navy satin bow with a tiny red button. The straps are fully adjustable elastic with crochet detail, but they are the thinnest straps I've seen on a bra in this size range. The sides are red power mesh cut into a leotard back. In wish the sides were a bit wider as I've got a bit of side boob escape. Pending a fit request I may or may not keep this bra as I paid full price for it. I bought the adorable matching briefs too & they fit great so it would be a shame if I didn't keep the set. Read more 196 more words
Hello, I've got Cleo Marcie in 34F. The band is little too tight (I'm using extender), so I'm considering buy 36E. How was the band? Compared to other bras?
The 36E band fit like my other panache 34F bands. I'd trade you if yours is brand new. I've only worn mine for review pics and then a few hours.
I'm using it, because I need bra. It's great fit but it feel a little bit tight. I've got a problem with band, because when I find bra with cups that fit I'm between sizes in bands... Do you think 34F will work better for you?
Yes. Every time I've sister sized to a 36E in bras that are cut the same as other 34F's I own I feel like it fits funny. The cups don't feel quite as supportive.
I have the cobalt one. The Kali colors are so pretty! Sadly, mine didn't work out as well as yours did for you and I had to list it.
