gratiat Thanks! It's great to have a plunge bra that holds my boobs in :)
Yay, I'm so glad it worked out! It looks fantastic on you. Those shorter wires are heaven, aren't they? :) Was this a standard Comexim or did it have any alterations? (If you addressed this in the review already, I apologize!)
BumbleBean Yes, the shorter wires are great! I never knew how much I wanted them until I had them :) Great question! It's a standard Comexim.
I don't know where to start, this is such a bra win - Happy2BraShop, I think you gave me some of your bra shopping magic with your comment last Saturday on your cross back bra!
I'm FOB, projected, I have some soft tissue (so I will "fill up" whatever cup shape it is - to an extent. I'm not totally fighting against every cup shape, if that makes sense), I have narrow roots, but when I gain weight, it's like I get fat *all around my boobs* on top, and on the side. (Tbh, I notice it particularly on top. like I almost have tall ... roots, but I don't) Which makes me have to go up in cup size obviously.
I'm close-set and that limits the styles I can try. The gore on this bra looks like it pushes my left breast (larger breast) a little, but I'm okay with it. I actually don't feel uncomfortable at all.
I also don't like a hard underwire, but I find Polish bras to have softer wires, and I've also found styles that accommodate my close-set breasts in Polish bras. Plus, I really love the design creativity in the Polish brands.
Okay, I actually do notice a big difference with the cross back, as far as comfort level. That being said I also have an upper body injury right now, so maybe for a normal person, it wouldn't matter as far as strap placement. But this strap placement really helps my shoulder issue, and I'm thinking of trying to alter my Pearl Flower Mint Plunge Bra (390) bra so it's like this.
Anyway, such a bra win. I literally want to order 2 more of these, because it was only $30 usd (& shipping) on sale.
This is something to consider in the profile though - it is a bit more pointy than my other padded plunges. I surmise it's because of the cross-back strap placement. I am so comfy though, I do not care!
If a person was just trying to get in to Comexim would I recommend this style? well, it's just basically the same as their other padded plunge; the cup is being pulled from a slightly different angle with the cross-back, and I do think it creates a bit more gaping on my smaller side. Not enough to be a deal breaker though.
Of note: you can still wear this bra the regular way. The straps are removable on both ends. You could even wear this as a strapless bra: that wouldn't work for me...well, it would depend on the outfit. If I just wanted nipple concealment, a thin padded layer, and the top or dress was form fitted enough to my body, I surmise this would work. It would totally depend on the outfit though.
As far as colours, I was hesitant to order b/c black and red aren't really my colour. However, I actually find this bra to be SO SLIMMING!! and that's another reason why I consider it a bra win. I'm kind of a fan of darker bras now. I surmise it's a combination of the black colour and the direction of the stripes?? Idk. I find it to be flattering.
Overall, 10/10/10 for beauty/comfort/function! For $30usd, who could beat it? Plus, you're buying from a women-owned company. I got this from Comexim.pl, but if your in the US/Canada, you can get some styles on BreakoutBras.com.

WildWolff , this ebay store has some EM's for sale https://www.ebay.ca/usr/tinome0 it's mostly uncommon sizes r.n. though.
Since the seller is located in San Antonio, TX, I believe it is this store (Aphrodite's Closet) https://www.facebook.com/AphroditesClosetSanAntonio
side note: I'm always slightly annoyed when I look this up because there is another "Aphrodite's Closet" which appears first - I think it's women's clothes or jewelry, lol.
BraOdyssey I've ordered from Tina before on ebay. I have notifications set up for Ewa Michalak on many apps/websites and check places regularly. It's not that I can't find them, I just want to branch out more and find something that fits from other brands and in other styles/colors. I wish polish brands offered more styles in a low gore because everything else is usually perfect for me. But Comexim I can order with alterations and they have pretty colors so it's on my list!
WildWolff , have you read this blog https://butterflycollectionlingerie.blogspot.com
I just discovered her blog today! her bra blog is next level...
I haven't, but I will read it now! I looked at it briefly and there's so really good content. Thanks for sharing the link.
no worries!
** This is a customized bra! The only non-standard measurement is CUP HEIGHT. **
When a package from Poland arrives in the mail, it is truly a happy day. Incidentally, this second shipment from Comexim was sent out during the COVID crisis right before Comexim shut down production, but it somehow arrived more quickly than my order earlier this spring (25 days instead of 30 days).
The only customization I requested in this order was: Cup height reduced 1 cm, straps moved in 1 cm.
Since I am now so used to seeing my Comexim collection in 60H with no alterations (as a point of comparison, I am using my ... Ingrid Plunge in 60H as the standard for this size and cut), I was taken a bit by surprise to see how much smaller this altered Plunge with reduced cup height appeared at first. Even though I only asked for 1 cm cup height reduction, this creates a very noticeable visual change in the proportions of the bra, because the 1 cm is taken from the CENTER of the cup. Actually, because the gore height is maintained, the reduction is tapered, and you end up with more reduction at the outer cup, so it actually reduces the plunge effect and straightens out the cup a bit. The resulting height ends up very similar to that of the 60G, but straighter. If you want to maintain the same shape, you will need to ask for the gore to also be lowered by the same amount as the cup height reduction, but I am not sure if they can do this while maintaining the same wires.
However, one thing my alteration failed to address is that moving in the straps 1 cm is not enough, I need them moved in one full strap width, closer to 2 cm. The angle of the outer cup is still too vertical, so the outer cup still cuts into my underarm area. Despite the cup proportion now being similar to a 60G, the shape of this area is totally different in the 60G, which is angled inward much more steeply, and the straps are moved in further one whole strap width. I requested the straps moved in 1 cm, but they are still set too wide as they were only moved in about .5 cm. Plus, due to the lowered cup height, they are rubbing at a more uncomfortable spot on my body than the original 60H unaltered. I have emailed Joanna photos of this to see if I can request that the outer cup and strap placement be cut like the 60G, while keeping the same wires and cup depth as the 60H. Overall, the fit of this bra is almost there! Everything else in the cup and wires is perfect and measured consistently. Unfortunately, the strap placement is really uncomfortable in this bra. I tried wearing it strapless and halter style, but the problem is the cut of the outer cup just rubbing in the wrong spot, rather than the straps themselves.
The band on this bra is silky stretch knit overlaid with the zebra stretch lace that creates the layered look of this bra. The band on this style is also very firm. It fits, but it definitely feels quite snug. It's a bit longer than the Ingrid, but it feels tighter. The straps are a slightly textured black elastic with picot edges They are convertible, so my bra came with a second set. Note that the elastic loops aren’t that tight, so my straps do slip off rather easily in my drawer, but I’m sure they would be fine when worn. The only trim on this bra is a small square red ribbon bow. Visually, this bra reminds me a bit of the Ewa Michalak M Tango, or the Masquerade Angie I just picked up, though all 3 are totally different cuts.
Arizona is another nice quality bra from Comexim. So far, I have found the cups to be very consistent in all of my Comexim bras, while the bands can run a little tight. My recommendation is to order your normal size and add an extender if necessary, rather than trying to guess the stretch in the band and sister sizing up
Regarding alterations, I would definitely start out finding your normal size by ordering bras in the different cuts with no alterations, then work from there. Many people have said they can't tell if an alteration was done or not on their bra, but I had no problem when I compared my bra's appearance and measurements to standard bras in the same size from my collection. Ideally, I would be able to get the wires and depth of 60H with the cup height and strap placement of 60G in my perfect fit. I am looking forward to refining the fit and ordering more!

Torn on this bra. The gore floats slightly at the top but with the style of this bra I am not sure it is an issue? Comexim suggested a 90 band and there is no way that would work as the 95 is tight. I will go for a 100 band next time and a different cup style. The bra fits best with crossed straps in the back which is how it was intended to be worn. Otherwise great quality bra as always with Comexim. The red is gorgeous with the black!

Love love love this bra and finally a bra with straps that can be worn cross back. I had the straps moved in and lowered the gore for a perfect fit.

This fit me well a few years ago at a larger cup size - slightly wider wires than my Sonia Plunge, and slightly smaller cup: 60M here ~ 60L Sonia. Plastic pieces for conversion to racerback bra unfortunately prone to breaking.

Purchased in Fall 2018, but I can't remember from where/whom. It has no label/tag, so the size is my best-guess so I could add it. It looks very much like my Anna Pardal Hibiscus, except the base is red instead of beige, and it doesn't have the edging on the cups. It's a beautiful bra with handy reconfigurable straps and 4 rows of 3 hooks. The cups are comfortably lined in red cotton.
My only complaint with this bra is the straps which are VERY difficult to adjust. I have them tightened all the way, too, so I'd have to have them taken in if I wanted to go shorter.

Gorgeous bra, cup measurements make it look good for me hypothetically but in reality most of the cup depth is right at the top of the cups. Just doesn't work for my shape so there is lots of gaping.
I feel like the straps are really too short to use as multiway straps. Those with long torsos will have trouble, and people more in the middle like me might be a bit uncomfortable as well.

I normally wear 60H or 65G but I thought they seemed a little small. Turns out this one is a little big... fantastic print though. I really wish it was one cup size smaller

I didn't realize that this was a multi-way until it arrived. Compared to my other Comexims, it wasn't very comfortable as the straps dug in my upper back/ neck area. Perhaps it was because I had the straps moved inward. This model is more comfortable to wear as a regular bra, but then it is definitely way to big.
Overall, I found that this model runs large- too large to be passable (compared to other Comexim bras of the same plunge size). I've lost the last of my baby weight and no longer nurse, so I am more of a 70G / H at the moment. Nonetheless, my other ... 75H Comexims plunges are still wearable. The cups gape more than usual. In addition to the cups being too large, i had to use the last row of hooks on this model and it was still a bit too loose. Compared to the fit of my other Comexims, I would recommend sister sizing down from your normal Comexim size with this model (which is gorgeous, btw).
I do think my short roots necessitate trying the 3HC (which are en route), so the fit might be affected by my shape. I cant quite fill the top part of the cups of any of my plunges (due to the somewhat rigid nature of the foam cups, though, they are thankfully still wearable and the slight gaping inside is not noticeable under clothing).
I will have to list this one, as I can't make it work.

Great review. I'm glad it worked out.
