Look:
This 3HC beauty is honestly a true beauty! It's a light cream bra with elegant black lace overlay - a truly timeless piece https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The lace covers the cups and wraps around the sides of the bra with an eyelash lace finish just under my arms. It is relatively smooth under clothes so super versatile. It offers more coverage than other (non-comexim) half cups I've tried in the past; beauty has more of a V-shape neckline (highest point of the cups by the straps) while ... others tend to have more of a scoop/ square-neckline (cups are about the same height/ straight across the chest). The V-shape neckline lends itself to more support and the bra is so beautiful I don't mind the extra coverage at all https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Fit:
I've had good experiences with vertical seamed half cups (e.g. EM CHP, Masquerade Rhea, CK Ritzy) and they all give me lovely cakes-on-a-plate style aesthetics with a rounded side profile (that I am addicted to). When I first tried the beauty, I was a little confused with the fit as it seemed to minimise my chest (flatten and spread cup volume over a wider area) more so than my other half cups with no 'cakes-on-a-plate'. HOWEVER, as the beauty has comfy, wide straps I could shorten them a lot more than other bras. As a consquence, this lifted my chest higher than I ever knew they could go and revealed 'cakes-on-a-plate' with buttcrack cleavage (I had to do a double take because they looked like I had had breast augmentation!) and a nice round side profile. One cup does quad a little on my larger side but I'm also on the fuller part of my cycle at the moment so this should not be a problem.
TL;DR = Why I get amazing aesthetics in this bra?
1) BAND - I've gone from 32 bands (pre-ABTF journey) to mainly wearing 30/ 28 bands now. After feeling the support in this beauty's band I think small 28 or 26 bands are ideal for me.
2) STRAPS - Wide straps make such a massive difference! Shortening them lifted my bust super high without hurting my shoulders to give the 'cakes-on-a-plate' look ( I think this is the main reason I can't shorten the straps of my other halfcups to reach the same aesthetic comfortably). I also think that having the straps moved in 1cm helped as they do not irritate my Spence's tail.
3) GORE - The gore is overlapped and incredibly narrow on this bra which is great for my close-set chest and give the 'buttcrack cleavage' look. However I do still see it sit on my breast tissue slightly... I think that's due to my breast tissue being literally next to each other (essentially no separation) so probably not much I could do about it. Perhaps trying stronger underwires might be an option?
Overall, I get the same 'cakes-on-a-plate' and rounded side profile in this bra as my other vertical seamed half cups. It is comfier and provides more support while also slightly minimising. The amount of uplift I get in this bra beats all my other bras and I'm excited to try a comexim plunge style that fits (which I think would offer more projection).

Beauty is really a beauty. The Comexim half cups are a bit more minimizing than the plunges but the shape is still really nice and sometimes it works better than others under certain tops.
