    For You Bralette 60R (28LL)

For You is a wireless unpadded triangle bralette. Its design is very simple, like a triangle bikini top, with a singular wide strip of elastic for the band.

While I ordered this one in a 60Q (28L) they sent a bra with a 28LL label, or size 60R instead. That being said, I don’t think it is a 60R based on the size of the cups and their fit. Honestly, I’d peg it as a 60P max, or more realistically a 65O when factoring in the band.

    For the measurements:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is ... obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 21.125” and stretches to a max of 30”. It has 2 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 11”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 13”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

While these figures are very small for my range, by nature of the open cup formation and wirelessness, these figures are a bit misleading and don’t reflect the true cup depth availability. As mentioned above, I feel this bra is more of a 65O/60P max, not a 60Q/60R for sure.

    As for fit,
The band feels fine on the tightest hookset, but does not offer any support due to the nature of the single elastic band with minimal attachment. This means that all the support comes from the straps. The straps are barely long enough as I have them completely let out, they feel tighter than I would prefer and force the band to sit higher on my back than it should. Yet, as mentioned, they are the only source of support so any looser and the bra would be useless for anything aside from modesty. The gore area is well over 4 fingers off the sternum (yes I can stick my whole hand perpendicular to my sternum and still not have my hand touch the bra), but this is expected given how small the cups are & their construction. I get cut in (in cup quadding) where the lace connects to the other material on the cups at the seams. Again, expected due to the size of the cups. Overall, I think I can still wear it as a reading in bed lounge bra on hot summer nights where I want my nips covered but don’t want a shirt on, though it honestly wouldn’t serve any other purpose. While I could complain about not getting the 60Q size I ordered, I would hate to think how small it would be if this one was not a mistake in sizing. Bottom line, it is not worth the complaint, as I feel a replacement wouldn’t fare any better.

This bra is still awful and is somehow better and worse than the one I got. Sorry it didn’t work.

I know! At least I can see value for it on those hot & humid MidWestern summer nights. 😄

I didn't add the back photo because it sits so high, it created back fat (or a lot of side boob?) under my arms that is not an appealing look at all. 😬

Oh, but it is SOOOO pretty. I hope you can at least wear it in bed or lounging.

As I was reading your review, I had the same thought as Sovavosi - despite it not fitting you, it somehow still sounded better than how it fit on me :))

I am determined to get some use out of it, even if just as a double sling shot for water balloons this summer 😄.

I do wonder who this works on. It has to fit someone beautifully right?

I think this one was intended only as a pretty covering. Maybe it’s only for folks with small to medium size breasts.

Yup...I have no faith in bralettes. Even sized ones. I have a custom one and after an hour I am falling out of it. Those with a lot of coverage, more like sports bra type thing work, but then I'd rather just wear a spandex-laden tank top. I'm sticking to wires.

My favorites at the moment are Decent Exposures. Wireless, comfortable, and yet still supportive. Wonderful alternative to the daily wire. Sure it doesn't qualify as sexy, haha, but better than a sports bra for lazy lounge days!

Sovavosi it could be, or maybe it's meant as a late post date night piece, for minimal wear time. It would serve well for that purpose. :-/
