    Didn't fit

The bra that broke my heart... sort of. Despite receiving it in the mail close to a month ago, I have yet to wear this bra until today. The strange thing about my Geisha that I haven't seen in any other Geishas or similarly sized Comexims is that the centre gore wires overlap, with the right one on top. Unfortunately, this gives the right cup a little more projection and more overall volume, and my right breast is the slightly smaller one https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> As you can (hopefully) see in the pictures, there is a weird 'pinch' of ... fabric on the cups near the gore.
I reallyyyyy want this bra to work though, so I tried it on today under one or my tighter, ribbed cotton tops. The material is a thick, horizontally ribbed navy blue, and has that somewhat constricted feeling of slightly shrunken-in-the-dryer cotton. And voilà! You can't see or tell the excess fabric is there, because the top compresses the cups to my chest and the fabric is forced toward the centre where it disappears under the top. So, I will be keeping this bra and likely wearing it under similar tops and closer to the time of month when my boobs are a little bigger and can fill it out better.
Other than that, the band is SO firm, and yet, comfortable! I'm wearing it on the first hook and it just feels so sturdy and supportive. The wires are gloriously narrow, and the straps lay in the perfect places. Nothing pokes, itches, or prods. Heaven.

Gah! I had pictures... I just added a new one of the top over the bra, so hopefully it will be approved soon and all my pictures will come back!

Now, what I really want to know is howwwww did you get a bra a whole entire month ago and not put it on until now?? Oh my goodness, when mine arrive I have the package ripped open, the bra on, pictures taken, and all measurements entered within 10 minutes lol. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning.

    • 1

I'm actually the same way! Haha. I did rip it out of the package after waiting so long for it, but after I put it on and saw it didn't fit properly I was so sad about it that I didn't have the heart to try it again until now. Today's my first full day wear.

    • 1

      lcl0706, you are funny!

    • 1

lol thanks. and immodestmouse If there's a bra I love and really want to work, I'll try it with every single shirt I own too. It's funny how attached to some of our bras we get.

    • It's pretty unreasonable, yet unable to be helped!

This Comexim bra is absolutely gorgeous. This was my second order from Comexim and I was pretty excited to get it because I also decided to get the matching briefs. The color of the lace is a subtle black-brown with brownish-red on top of a cream base. The cream fabric underneath the lace has a matte finish. I tried to get photos of the bra in natural light so you could see how lovely it is when the light hits it.

The cut of the Geisha is very much like the other Comexim "plunge" styles I have. Unlike plunges in other brands, the cups feel very ... supportive and my breasts feel very enclosed, like they're not going anywhere. The gore comes up slightly higher than most plunge style bras. It is similar to Ewa Michalak's S line. The cups are nice and deep: if you are looking for a narrow cup that offers good projection, then this is the bra for you. The tops of the cup encase the breast tissue up there without cutting into the tissue. The underwires don't stab me in the underarm. Actually, if they were ANY lower, they would be too low. The placement of the straps is also ideal for my shoulders.

This is a comfortable bra with a nice firm band. It stretches to just about 31" so I don't know if that is quite true to size. I wouldn't say the band is super-stretchy because the lace pattern extends to the band area (which is a nice touch). I'd say the Comexim Magic Blue's band is slightly stretchier.

Comexim in general is a very promising brand, and I'm totally sitting on my hands to stop myself from ordering another set already! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />

This is a bra that I have lusted after for a long time, and finally bought. I also have an Angelina, Ginger, and Pearl Mint Flower; and they are all far more attractive in person. Most of them look great on the websight, and become even more radiant in your hands (and on your boobs).

However I didn't find that to be true of the Geisha. While it's a lovely bra, it's not stunning in person, it is understated and sophisticated. You could probably wear it as a nude tone if you were a medium/dark skinned person.I'm Jim Gaffigan colored, so it's not practical for me in that ... way (but a great tshirt bra). I really thought the lace would interfered with wearability, circa ck tease me, but it's not visible.

I would highly recommend this bra to other women who take a 28GG/30G uk bra with soft tissue and teardrop/natural round (mostly) even breasts. I wish the cups were taller on the sides, but I'm 6'0-6'1. This may not be an issue if you're "average" height and have higher breasts or shotter roots. Over all, super bra, beautiful construction, pretty understated material. Well worth the $31.00 I paid for it.

Side note: I couldn't find very much info on the fit of their brief or string cut underpants, so I bought the XL. It's an ok fit on my 39" hips, but I wish I had bought the L instead. I feel the same way about the Angelina string I purchased. Not bad, but I wish I'd ordered a size down.

    Didn't fit

This was a surprise https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> I ordered a 65K 3HC because I require shorter cups than Comexim plunges typically provide. However, Comexim sent the plunge instead. This plunge arrived with overlapping gore, cookie pockets, cup height reduced 1cm, reduced gore height, and straps moved inward.

This is the third size in Geisha plunge I have worn, but the first Geisha plunge with a reduced gore. The reduced gore dramatically improved the fit for my very short breasts. In the 65K Eris plunge, I could land a Boeing 747 airplane in the top of the cup. In this 65K Geisha plunge, I can ... park a little Volkswagen Beetle. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> The 65K Eris plunge required I remove the transverse section across the top of each cup. Conversely, the reduced gore height and 1cm reduced cup height improved the fit of 65K Geisha enough I would not need to alter it.

The cup width of this 65K Geisha is .1" smaller than 65K Eris because the intended owner ordered this with a narrower wire. This causes two fit issues for me: my tissue is forced into the gore and compressed. Ouch. If this were slighly wider with the same depth, I would contentedly wear it. If I bent the wires a bit wider, it would shallow the cup. I didn't have enough immediate projection to "share" with the cup width. 65K Eris is 100% comfortable, but 65K Geisha is not comfortable because of its slightly narrower cup. I hope this narrower wire is perfect for its intended owner https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

I'm thankful for this order fulfillment error. I had previously decided I could not wear Comexim plunges. But, ordering reduced gore height and reduced cup height may create the "perfect plunge" for my short, projected breasts. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />

  5. I got this bra as part of a three bra package from martka00, along with the @Comexim Audrey and Magic Blue in the same size. This was actually *the* bra that prompted that purchase, having been on my wishlist (along with the Carmen-- anyone got a Carmen in 75/80E they wanna sell?) ever since... well, not *quite* the beginning of my bra fit journey, but darn close-- I actually was exchanging emails with Anna about custom ordering a Carmen when I still wore 32HH.

The other two Comexim bras in this order had the narrowest wires of any company I've tried, so the Geisha ... having such a wide wire measurement really surprised me (and, apparently, the moderation team, as I recently received a request to verify the measurement-- but I can't squish it down below 5.5" without potentially damaging the wire; these are some heavy duty underwires). Once it's on, by some bra magic, they fit perfectly into my IMF. The depth measurement made me worry that it might not fit, but it essentially pushes my breasts in and up juuuust enough that I actually look like I have upper fullness from certain angles. (Spoiler alert if you haven't read my bio or any of my recent reviews: I very much *don't* have upper fullness, despite what the lean test tries to tell me.)

Like the Audrey and the Magic Blue, the straps are plain black with what I've come to think of as 'resistance stitching', and are the right cross between stretchy enough to give a little and sturdy enough to support the level of projection the cup provides. They are 0.75" wide in an 80E. Adjusting them takes some work, and once they are adjusted they do *not* move. The cups are shorter than the Audrey and the same height as the Magic Blue, and the projection and depth is less than both bras. I was actually quite worried that it wouldn't fit based on the measurements, but it fits quite well as previously mentioned.

The band has the same coppery flower lace print used for the cups (obvious) over a gray/silver mesh that feels very nice against the skin.

All in all, this is a beautiful and remarkably comfortable bra, which is finally receiving the same love as the other two as my size has (once again) changed slightly as I continue to lose weight.

This bra has reduced cups, reduced gore, and straps moved in. It also has three hooks, though I didn't request that. The band feels perfect. I also got this in a three part half cup, which fits me better. Even with the alterations the cups come up a bit high under my arms near the front. The top corners are empty, but I quad out a bit on my larger breast. The gore is perfect and so comfy! The wires are almost perfect, even a bit wide on my smaller breast. If the rest of the bra fit nicely the wires wouldn't bother me a bit. Thankfully I do get an excellent in thee three part half cup version of this bra as it is stunning!

    Didn't fit

So I have the Geisha in 55J that was supposed to have a lowered gore, straps moved in, and reduced cups. I do not think the straps have been moved in one the one I received and I got one with 3x3 hooks (which is typically custom) instead of the typical 2x3. Unfortunately, this bra is too big for me, and I won't be able to keep it. The straps not being moved in creates about an inch of extra fabric at the top of the bra. In addition, scaling for 55 bands makes them slightly narrower and deeper than the Comexim Vivien I have in 60HH (with ... the same alterations). I think Geisha in a 55HH would fit me well. The band on this one does run tight. It's actually longer than the other 55 bands I got, but has much less stretch. The lace pattern carries around the entire bra (which is gorgeous) but probably contributes to this problem. I would say this 55J definitely is closer to a 26G.5.

I'm so sad this doesn't fit because it's truly a gorgeous bra. The cherry blossom lace pattern is classic, sexy, and luxurious. The foam cut and sew cups are typically comfortable and the bows on the sides and middle are cute finishing touches. I would love to own this bra in a 55HH. I'll probably order it again. It is definitely more projected than the Basic in the same size.

I'll get a real blog post about this up at some point, but for now here are my ramblings https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    • Do you think when comexim bras are ordered, 'we' should ask for the cups to be lowered?
I'm planning on ordering some (but not for another month or so). I actually want to order non padded styles first, since padded seamed bras don't work out for me.

    • 2

Hmm... I would say probably yes for you, but it does make the cups a bit more closed off. I believe Anna says that most women in a 28 band will want the cups lowered. kerniss tried one of their unpadded styles so she might be able to tell you about them. Padded bras from any other brand don't really work for me, but I firmly believe that Comexim is magic.

    • 1

I'm in a 28 band and can wear a standard 60HH with no cup reduction or alterations. Guess that makes me an oddball haha!

    • 1

Compared to Ewa Michalak, I don't really consider the Comexim padded bras to be "padded" more lined imo. I love Geisha, and I wish it was a better for you PetiteCollegiate .

    • Geisha is so pretty. You should definitely try it again.

    Didn't fit

Before I get into this reveiw, my shape is: narrow, projected, low-set, very full-on-bottom, short-rooted, very center-heavy. I also have a very, very squishy ribcage and a very pronounced tail of spence.

Now that we have that out of the way, I seriously think that this bra is mislabeled because it is SO the wrong size. It is so beautiful, and I really, really, really-really wanted it to work. I've heard such nightmares about ordering from Poland, and from Ewa Michalak especially, so I was really invested in learning whether or not Comexim was going to be a match for my difficult breast shape ("you're so lucky to have ... an in-matrix size!" they told me, "you'll be able to find bras at every department store the USA has to offer!" they told me). When this baby came up on r/braswap, I nearly peed with excitement. I couldn't imagine my luck!

From all of the research I have done, I honestly expected this to have similar immediate projection to my Ewa Michalak (which has plenty.) I am sad to report that this is the most shallow bra I have worn; It seriously rivals some Victorias Secret bras that I've tried on. Quadboob and ribcage squish every-damn-where; even my fiance immediately used the word "quadboob" and I was not even aware that he'd been listening to all my bra-fitting ranting.

Also, let's talk about the band for just a second: this bra is labeled as a 70/32, but in order to get the bra to 31" I have to pull so hard that the underwire distorts. Not sure how someone with a 31" ribcage is expected to squeeze into that and get a good, supportive, comfortable fit....

All in all, I am quite disappointed in Comexim and I doubt I will be purchasing one from the manufacturer. Perhaps if a 75E comes up on r/braswap I'll give that a try, but the odds of that happening are similar to the odds of getting struck by lightning whilst being bitten by a shark. I guess I'm just going to have to suck it up and order from Ewa Michalak!

What is your UK size? A Comexim 70E is a UK 32DD. Could it be that it's too small all over?

    • 1

I was about to say the same. Comexim uses EU sizing, so no double letters. If you're an E in Ewa, you'd be an F in Comexim. Possibly a G in the Geisha since it tends to be smaller.

    • I am a 32E in American sizes (or 32D3 in herroom sizes). I just went to check what size my Ewa Michalak actually is, but it turns out I can't actually read the tag anymore. (Also why I haven't entered the measurements for that Lato into my account: that bra is oooooold). I've been assuming that I'm a 70E but I could very well be a 70F in Polish sizes! That would do it! Geez, and I wonder why I can't have nice things.

    • jlcl119 I hadn't realized EM and Comexim use different sizing. I should've done my research! That's what I get for impulse-buying, haha. Thanks!

    • 1

Yup. They both use EU bands, but Ewa uses UK cups. Comexim is EU all the way. I wear a 65E/F in Ewa and a 65G in Comexim.

It'd be nice if they were standardized, it does get confusing and takes some trial and error.

    • Yeah I wouldn't discount Comexim yet. On your profile you have a 34F Marcie listed as a fit (that would make you a 72G in Comexim!) and a 70E Ewa Lato listed as a fit. That would make you a 70F in Comexim. And like jlc said, the Geisha runs small (as does the Basic). No wonder it doesn't work for you.

    • lcl0706 I wish I could edit that review, that damn Marcie NEVER fit properly - I just was really new at brafitting when I wrote that and I didn't know better! The EM Lato definitely DOES fit, though, I'm sure of that. Thanks for letting me know about the Comexim sizing though! I love that they do custom orders, and now that I know they use nonstandard sizing I feel more comfortable revisiting the idea of buying from the manufacturer.

    • 1

You can edit your review. Go into "my bras" and click on it. Then you can go into each section like "how it fits" and "write a review" and edit what you have.

    • And I wear a 28G in UK and a 60J or 60K depending on the Comexim bra and what alterations are done.

    • 1

Don't count Comexim out yet :) I wear 80GG in EM and and 80 K in Comexim with reduced cup. The Geisha does run tight in the bad, and so does Tropical Garden. I think it has to do with the material of the bands. I still haven't been able to figure out how the sizes work, but I know what my size is in both brands, so that is all that matters. Lol. Once you get the right size, you will love Comexim! They are so comfy :)

    • 1

Geisha is beautiful. The pictures on the website do not do this one justice. The nude base with the black mesh/lace and soft peachy/pink floral pattern are stunning. The little black satin bows on the straps are perfect. The black satin bow on the gore is perfect. Everything about this bra is perfect. Did I mention Comexim? lol The only issue that I have with this bra is that the band runs tighter than my other 80 bands from the same order. And I honestly don't care. I haven't worn this one yet, except to try on and take pictures, but I am in love, and I will not give it up. Tight bands are what extenders are for https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

  10. The band on this one runs small, making it a good fit for me. Very pretty, smooth under clothing and extremely comfortable.
