Okay, to begin with I’m not sure what’s going on with my cup size. My first Comexim bras were 80HH and while they seemed to fit, I felt like the 80J may be more comfortable. I bought a few 3HC and plunge bras in 80J with reduced cup height and increased depth at the wire last spring. These bras fit and seemed like the ideal size until I recently realized recently that these once comfy bras were suddenly feeling tight. I waited it out, thinking it was hormones, but the 80Js are definitely feeling small even though my weight hasn’t changed much (only a few pounds and when ... I started buying Comexim I weighed more than I do now). I’m in my late 40s and I don’t know if it’s a hormonal thing or just me slowly figuring out my cup size. I ordered a plunge bra and the Mimi in 80K and the plunge is so comfortable, it fits so well and the back fat I was seeing in my 80Js has almost disappeared. I’ll post a review on that bra later. I am not sure if this increase in cup size is something temporary and I’m afraid of investing too much in bras that might not fit, but I need more than one comfortably fitting bra.
Unfortunately the Mimi that I received is wrong on so many levels.
This is my first complete miss with Comexim and the first time they didn’t provide the modifications I requested. I ordered this because I had previously ordered a Mimi 3HC in 80J with the similar modifications, which were a reduced cup height and deeper at the wire. The 80J fit okay at the time, but the cup height was just too low. I did like how the cup seemed more closed at the top and with my FOB, centre full, soft breasts, I thought that this style should work well for me with the right alterations. I ordered the Mimi in 80K as a 3HC with reduced cup height, deeper at the wire and straps moved in. I am not sure about the straps, but I think it’s deeper at the wire but it’s definitely only a 2 part half-cup bra. I think the pictures tell the story. The bra flattens out my center tissue, is cut too low, and cuts into my breast tissue. I am frustrated, as I feel like the Mimi should work for me. I’m considering trying again, with it deeper at the wire and with the straps moved in but without reducing the cup height, but I’m afraid I’m just wasting my money at this point. I like the look of 3HC bras, but Comexim plunge bras definitely work better for me.
Anyone have the Mimi without reduced cup height? Is it lower than other half cup bras? Should I try again with this style or call it at this point?

"Comexim wires seem more about support than murder, which is a nice counter to my experience with certain UK wires. *coughcoughPanachecough*"
