    Didn't fit

    I really hate the bows on this bra.
    In my experience, Comexim bras tend to stretch out a lot, so I bought this bra in a smaller band size and added an extender. Unfortunately, I have since discovered that I have super wide roots, which obviously don't really work with Comexim bras. (Unless you alter them... Which I have since done to another Comexim bra that I own.)

    Heads up: Unless you're an super sewer, removing the frontal bows looks to be a challenge. It appears they were sewn in during the bras "construction" phase, rather than at the end as an add-on. I planned to remove the bows, but they appear to be sewn into the "skeleton" part, if that makes any sense. I think if I snipped the stitches on the bows, it would open major seams.

    My only other complaint is that the two part construction of the cup lends itself to being significantly more shallow that I would expect from a Comexim bra. I was definitely disappointed!

    Fits

    I don't get along with Comexim's regular 3-part plunge (cups too tall and too deep at the apex while being too shallow at the bottom) or with half cups in general, so I'm really happy that this fits. There's enough depth at the underwire and the tops, for once, are not too open for my shape! The overall look is round with subtle cleavage, similar to what Ewa Michalak's models seem to have in the CHP (which I've never quite achieved myself) but less in-your-face.

    The fabric is lovely as well, very soft and comfortable against the skin.

    Didn't fit

    This is the classiest bra I've ever seen. Matte black satin with a shimmery swirl pattern, a silver and pearl drop at the center gore, and lace trimmed cups. This is a true half cup, the gore is low and the tops of the breast are completely exposed, making this a perfect bra for under scoop necklines (which is what I wanted it for).

    The wires are slightly wider than Comexims plunges, and the cup it self is shallower and the bottom and at the center gore. It still has oodles more projection than most UK half cups, but if you've got a good fit in Comexims plunge cut, you'd likely have to size up 1-2 cup sizes for the half cup cut.

    This is a custom ordered size, and a custom band with 3 hooks instead of 2. There were no additional charges for this order.

    Fits

    Comexim Mimi size 55K which equates UK 26H. The following 3 photos feature my brand new custom made bra in a 55 band featuring a half cup style. This is unquestionably the most beautifully constructed bra with the finest attention to detail. This exquisite style is comprised of a lightly padded model cut in the new half cup style. The wires are the narrowest that I have ever encountered whilst the cups are deep and feel completely weightless regardless of the light padding. The fine workmanship surpasses all that I have previously encountered.

    This style features a chic chevron detailing to the exterior of the smooth black ... cups, whilst the interior features black cotton lining the cups and the upper edges of the cups are covered in black lace. The detailing is flat and not visible beneath a blouse. The straps are fully adjustable and the band features 2 hooks. I am enormously pleased to find a company whom is willing to provide 55 bands upon request!

    The cup width measures 14cm from tip to tip of the underwire. The cup depth measures 24cm inside of the cup, from each end of the underwire across the deepest line of the cup. I have measured the band as follows. Unstretched in a resting position from clasp to clasp measures exactly 51cm. Fully stretched to the maximum length from clasp to clasp measures exactly 69cm. It would be ideal for you to compare these measurements against one of your newer best fitting bras, as this will be the best method in determining if this will be a good fit for you.
