My stats: underbust 27" tight, 29" loose, regular size UK 30E.
I ordered the Salma Bikini Top in two sizes: 70E and 70F.
Band size:
I intentionally sister sized up in the band, because I don't want a bikini top to fit as tight as my regular bras.
Turns out this was a good choice - the band is nice and firm, stretching to only 30.5" in size 70. The fabric has less stretch to it than a bra, which is also common in bikinis and should be considered when choosing a band size.
Cup size:
Eyeballing the fit of the cups, 70E had slight quadboob, and 70F had no quad, no gaping when ... standing straight, but maybe a smidge more cup height than necessary.
I decided too keep the 70E because again, this is a bikini top, and slight quadboob is waaaay less of an issue than gaping cups when you move or swim.
Verdict:
I'm really happy with the bikini top. It's well-made, fits me well, looks cute and dries fast.
A note on the panties:
These are a huge downside of this set. I ordered two sizes of them as well (the one the size chart would put me in, and a size up). The smaller size was so *ridiculously* small I didn't even try it on. Seems like Comexim isn't aware that bikini fabric just won't stretch as much as regular fabric does or something. There is no way a person with the given measurements could fit into this.
The larger size fit okay at the waist, but had elastics cutting into my thighs which was both really, really uncomfortable and looked odd. I returned both of them and decided to wear a plain black bikini bottom instead.
tl;dr, my recommendation:
- size up in the band and stick with your regular cup size (don't size up in the cups like you regularly would with Comexim halfcups)
- size up 1-2 sizes in the panties in case you want to order some, and be prepared that the fit might be really odd.
