My shape has my very frustrated. Semi-conical, shallow top. I will always have a gap at the top of a bra, and most bras are too tall for me. I decided to try some half cups. This bra seems to fit my needs almost perfectly. The gore is low, and for the first time I don't have the gore pressing on the tissue at the top. The wires are narrow. I could never find my roots before, but this bra doesn't press on any tissue on the side. Before trying narrow wires, I would have said that the wide wires on British bras didn't bother me, because it ... didn't hurt. Now that I have tried this on, I feel like the narrow wires actually fit better.
This bra is fairly projected, there's only a slight wrinkle on the bottom. Nowhere near as bad as any of my British bras wrinkle. It seems to stay up in my IMF. The band feels true to size, very comfortable on the loosest set of hooks. The straps seem a little wide but they don't bother me that much. They adjust more than my British bras do also. The top of the cups has a gap due to my shape, but this is completely hidden under a shirt. For this bra, it was recommended to size up one cup. Due to height issues, I decided to go my normal size. This worked out well for me. The bottom is filled out and I don't feel squeezed into it. It gives me a nice rounded shape.
I really like this bra, and now that I know what size to order in a 3HC, I will certainly be ordering more. It definitely makes it hard to go back to wearing my British bras!
