This is a very soft and comfortable bra, and it's a perfect nude for my pale skin. It has a double layer of beige mesh and some beige/cream lace across the top of the cup. The lace gives it a very delicate appearance without being over the top, and after replacing the wires with stronger ones it tacks firmly and handles my center fullness just fine. It also has plenty of depth at the wire.
Unfortunately, I think the mesh is just not firm enough to support my large, heavy breasts, and the band is too stretchy. As a result, I don't get quite enough lift and my breasts ...hang over the wire ever so slightly. Also, for some reason the straps are super stretchy in a bad way, so I might try to replace them at some point.
Bottom line? So comfortable that I will keep and wear it despite some minor fit issues.
Update: after having and wearing this for a while, i’ve come to the conclusion that most of my fit issues are actually being caused by an uneven tension in the lace on the top of the cup and the too loose band. I’m reordering this in a regular plunge cut in a smaller band size. Read more 99 more words
cupandahalf I really love it, though the straps are driving me a bit crazy. Also I ordered those vertical wires from porcelynne, so I'll let you know how those turn out!
dfe98we i've got a couple Ewa Michelaks in 100FF I never wear if you wanted to try those! A BM and an S. Not sure what your sizing needs are.
Tempting, but 100 band might be a bit large for me...
ennakym You mentioned replacing the wires with stronger ones, could you provide guidance on how you did this as far as sizing/sourcing them goes? I was considering trying it with some of my Comexims in a similar size range (90J/K right now), but am concerned that purchasing wires elsewhere will end up with a somewhat different shape and change the fit of the bra in unintended ways. I would really appreciate any tips or info you could provide.
My shape: large, heavy, narrow rooted, center full, close set, with tons of immediate projection.
I've been wanting this bra since the moment Comexim revealed it, and I was not disappointed! It's even prettier in person, and the pink edging on the top of the cup is particularly fetching. It's pretty without being fussy, which is exactly what I like.
It's comfortable, too, and the band is TTS. It seems like at least on the larger end of the spectrum it's only the bras with lace on the band that you need to order a band size up - I'd have been fine in a 42.
The gore tacks after ...replacing the wires with stronger ones and there's plenty of room at the wire. There isn't quite enough room for my center fullness, which is my hardest area to fit, and that ends up pushing the wires out of my imf. I'm not entirely sure if this is fixable by alteration or not, though I may try narrowing the gore to see if that helps.
It seems like the soft cup Comexims are really my best fit. Something about the soft fabric vs the padding makes the soft cups better suited to my center fullness. Still, I love the look of this one! Read more 103 more words
I'm short and narrow rooted, projected, center full, close set and my tissue is quite soft. This is the first of Comexim's regular plunges that I've tried. I had it made as a regular plunge rather than a longline.
Graffiti is very, very soft, and the colors are even brighter and better in person. I'm finding that's a common theme with Comexim's bras: they always look even better in person than they did on the website. I particularly love that this one doesn't feel like its trying to be sexy. It's just fun.
This has decent immediate projection, and I get a good but soft tack at the gore though it doesn't tack as well as the extra deep plunge. The band is also a lot stretchier than the other Comexim/Wellfitting bras I've tried, stretching immediately to 46(!) inches. Fortunately, I find I can shorten bands quite easily on my own.
All in all, I'm very pleased with this, and plan to order more from Comexim very soon!
Me - short and narrow rooted, projected everywhere, center full, soft tissue This bra - totally fits!
The long:
What a beauty! As everyone else who has purchased Ginger has found out, it is far more beautiful in person than in pictures. It's very delicate looking, and they've put the lace on in such a way that there's a really lovely border of whispy lace along the top edge.
The wires are the perfect width for me, and while it isn't as projected at the bottom as the 3HC cut, it's projected enough in this size that it stays mostly in my IMF. It does slide a tiny bit out ...sometime, but it doesn't effect the support or fit of the bra at all, so it doesn't bother me. The low gore tacks nicely, but not as firmly as Panache - and that's a good thing for me, as I find Panache wires to tack so hard they can be painful at times.
The only issues I had with this bra were minor: the band is tight for a 44, which I think is probably because the band is covered in lace, and my tissue is so soft and the gore so low that at first I was falling a bit out of the center. I don't mind the band - I'm finding I actually prefer them to be quite tight - and I can wear it with an extender if I need to. I narrowed the gore at the bottom to fix the other issue, and it seems to have tilted the cup enough that it actually holds my breasts in place quite well.
All in all, I'm glad I tried the extra low plunge, and now I know what alterations to request for next time. Read more 186 more words
What an endorsement! I think I need it.
