I love the look of it with the charcoal and lace overlay. It gives me flash backs to one of the first properly-fitted bras I ever tried - the Curvy Kate Tempt Me - which was just never going to work fit-wise.
The top of the cups stop a couple of centimetres below my arm pits, which is fantastic as I often have them poking me in plunge styles. Gore is low but not falling-out low, perfect for showing a bit of cleavage without a wardrobe malfunction for my centre-full boobs. There is a bit of quad on my right ...side, but since my breasts are quite uneven in size and it's impossible to get a bra they're both happy with, a touch of quadding is something I don't mind.
The wire on the left was a bit stabby, but nothing a bit of bending won't fix. The band is absolutely perfect for my too. It fits comfortably on the middle hook, which gives a nice bit of wriggle room for stretching out and/or bloated days. Read more 76 more words
And thank you for adding the bra measurements- it is so appreciated!!!
It looks beautiful on you!
The lace--swooning. And, the color combo is spectacular. Fantastic choice :-)

Gorgeous! I can definitely see the one wire being a bit stabby, ah the loveliness of dealing with asymmetry. I have a very similar asymmetry . Thanks so much for the measurements, it looks amazing on you.
I finally bravangelized my mother who has been wearing a 32A cup for as long as she has been wearing bras. She is a very petite woman, so I knew this was incorrect. Sure enough, I measured her to be about a 25" underbust, and 30" bust. First I talked her into trying some 28D bras, which were easier to find, but most of them were too tall in the cups. I finally found her a plunge bra that fit perfectly, and then ordered her this Comexim because it was the cheapest and therefore the best to use as a guinea pig.
I asked for the straps to ...be brought in 3cm, the center gore to be reduced 1cm, and the cup height to be reduced. Does anyone have this bra with an equivalent cup volume? I know Comexim has a habit of letting alterations request slip here and there, but I have nothing to compare this one to. This mostly fits her, though she still has some gaping on top if she leans forward the tiniest bit. This is going to be a good base for ordering more Comexim in the future. I also think that I may have just changed her opinion on unlined bras! Read more 100 more words
This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered band,
Altered straps,
Straps moved inward 3cm, Center gore reduced 1cm, and Cup height reduction
After my last foray into Comexim, I thought I had my size pretty well figured out. I ordered 3 new 55Fs based on how my previous purchases fit - my new Paola plunge is a dream, but the two 3HCs are nightmares of the exploding boob kind.
The band is a little snugger than I would like, but will be fine with an extender for a couple of wears. Wires are great, straps are great, gore is great and not too high.
Cups are.. small. To be fair, I ordered this with reduced cup height, as I did with my 55F - Comexim » Roma Half Cup ...(344). However, while that came out as a half cup too large, the Mia (and 55F - Comexim » Ardea Half Cup ) are a cup too small, maybe more? I actually have no idea. But that's an almost 2 cup size difference between two bras of the same size and shape.
After swooping and scooping, I have quadding to the point of nipple escapeage on my larger side. Even my smaller side (a cup size smaller) is bulging at the edge. If I bend over, I feel like everything is going to fall out.
It's just.. bah. So disappointed at the inconsistency in sizing .
Definitely contact Anna at Comexim and let her know of the inconsistency.
Ugh. Disappointing.
Oh how frustrating!
That sucks, because otherwise the bra is so pretty! I really just don't think this style is good for your breast shape. I think you would be much happier with Ewa half cups. She has even opened her shop back up to making size 55 bands. Here is the style equivalent of Comexims 3HC that I think you would love: https://www.ewa-michalak.pl/product-eng-694-Bra-CHP-Marcepanowa-Magnolia.html Generally when women ask about the half cups from Comexim I recommend going up a cup size or two from their Plunge size because of how extra shallow they run. If you really love the half cups from Comexim, Giving it a shot in 55G with a shortened cup height and asking more depth at the wire may end up working well for you.
From my experience with Comexim LeProfessor, Deeper at the wire also makes it deeper at the apex, so sizing up and requesting deeper at the wire may not yield desired results. :-/ But Ewa is a viable consideration.
Did they say they did the reduced cup height alteration? From what I've read they will not do that because the cup would end up too short. I had to provide photos before they would even consider it on one of my half cups.
Valid point and question Sovavosi. It leads back to my first comment of contacting Anna at Comexim is the wisest option for resolution and confirmation.
Sovavosi I had an email exchange with Joanna before I ordered (mostly about the band inconsistency between my Roma and Veronique) and asked if I could order all of the bras with cookie pockets and reduced cup height as with my previous order. She said it was all fine, so I can only assume it happened!
Thanks for the recommendation LeProfessor , I love that one! I'd been a bit wary of Ewa Michalak as I'd heard horror stories about her refusing to make such small bands for people. I'm really unsure about sizes there too - I tried a number of her bras in a 60D at a store here, and they were all over the show! One was perfect, 3 were riding up onto my boobs and another I couldn't get even close to fastening. I might shoot her an email and see what she can recommend for me. Do her half cups run at the same size as the plunges? All the ones I tried were 3DM.
Yah, they run differently per each model. The plunges run shallower compared to the half cup and the CH runs more projected than the CHP. They are both a bit wide, but you could always bend your wires to better suit your roots. I'd recommend you start with the CH to see how projected of a shape works for you. I personally think you would be fine the CHP (which is VERY deep and projected). But you may want to keep it safe and try the 65D to see how the cups fit before paying the extra 20pln for the custom size (55E). Since the 65 band can be returned. The bands are all extremely TTS or loose these days except for the M cuts which run a size or two small.
Oh! And puddle44 there are a couple other women around your size whom have input data for their 55 band Ewa bras. Here's the link to Ewa's size range and it should be filtered for the CH cut. https://www.bratabase.com/browse/ewa-michalak/size-range/
Sovavosi They seem to really go back and forth on reducing cup height on the half cups. I've requested it on a few bras in the past, and basically got different answers every time.
New favorite bra! This one seems to be the unicorn / holy grail for me. 55/26 band, not a custom order, and it doesn't even gape too much on my smaller boob. (The material comes over the top at just the right spot so a little bit of unevenness won't show under a top)
The wires are the narrowest I've tried so far, and they're right up next to my breast tissue. Everything seems scaled just right for my petite frame. From looking at the stock photos, I expected the material to eat my chest, with tons of gaping (I tried on a Freya Deco clone once in a 28F -one cup size too big at the time- and the gaping was laughable.) This? Looks amazing. And the shape is just right too. Seriously impressed. I want more like this!
Alterations: reduced cup, cookie inserts The band is longer than the other 55s I have - I'm wearing it on the 3rd hook of 4 and have a 24.5-25" snug, so hopefully it doesn't stretch too quickly! It's pretty comfy over all, doesn't give any cleavage, but a nice rounded shape instead. The wires are very narrow and cut across the lower outer edge of my tissue everrrr so slightly - the wires seem to curve up earlier than my root does. Apart from that area, the wire sits nicely around the edge of my root.
Alterations: reduced cup, reduced gore (though I don't think this one happened), cookie pockets added Band is tight - I can fasten it on the loosest hook, but the elastic on the lower part of the band feels uncomfortable tight. Would probably work well with an extender until the band loosens up a bit. Wire width seems to be spot on on this one, perfectly circles my root! Hallelujah! The cups have a bit of gapping at the top edge though, most noticeably on my smaller side which is already padded with an insert :/ Maybe a small size would work better for me - 55E, or 60D even - or maybe it's just a bit of a shape mismatch and it's too tall and open on top? I'm not sure. It does give me a nice shape though, round and lifted, though nothing in the way of cleavage.
The flowers aren't really my style, but OMG the fit! Most bras on me either gape or come straight up at the top of the cups.. This bra actually curves inward just a bit, and fits exactly. That said, I wouldn't recommend this bra to anyone who's full on top, or has trouble with quadboob. This one does feel a bit snug on me sometimes - the wires are pretty narrow, but I love everything about how this fits. If you're on the fence, size up in this bra, but for me my usual size is just right.
This bra is Wellfitting's Demi cup bra - a balconette that I think is exclusive to Wellfitting. It fits very different from Comexim's more common plunges. I found that this one ran a cup size small on me. Fits my smaller boob ok, but the center gore doesn't tack, and my bigger boob quads and in general the bra looks flat and smashed on me. This one is definitely going back.
I have gravitated toward balconettes in the past because I fear full-cup bras on my petite frame - nearly everything gapes at the top on me, but after trying this one side-by-side with a plunge, I think the Comexim plunges may be a better shape fit for me.
It's gorgeous! Glad it works so well for you.
And thank you for adding the bra measurements- it is so appreciated!!!
