Quality is really nice, it's simple but pretty too. The shallowest and widest (barely wider) of the 3 3HCs comexims I own. Barely any projection. Squishes my boobs, which makes the band feel tight and it's already the smallest band of the 3 I own. The straps feel really nice and comfy. Gores almost overlap, gore is a bit too tall for me. Supposedd to fit like a 26E/F, would suggest 55HH for 26F unless you're shallow. The fit is my own issue but the quality is great. Nothing feels flimsy.
Disclaimer- still deciding if the 3 comexims are a perfect fit or not.
Very pretty bra, I love the little tassel. Band is very comfortable. Gore almost overlaps. Quality is great, no itchiness. Fits like a 26E/F, apparently. A bit too small for me, squishes my breasts. The wires are narrow enough for me! If you're a 26F, I'd suggest trying 55HH, unless maybe if you're shallow. Haven't tried non 3HC comexims so, can't compare. 2nd shallowest in the 3 3HCs I own. The fit is my own problem, the bra itself is really great!

As with the basic half cup I tried from Comexim, I am loving the wide straps. It pulls some of the weight off of the band without making it feel like the strap is digging down into my shoulder. I think this bra works well for me as someone who doesn't offer a lot of immediate projection right by the gore. I was worried a gore this tall wouldn't work for someone like me, but I am pleasantly surprised to find I love it. Theres one seam in the bra that bothers me in the band. I wish it was stitched a little different. I believe this is ...a choice based on the fabric used. I didn't notice this issue on the half cup model. It likes to sit on a rib, but I think I can shift the bra to make the issue stop. This may not be the case for every person or even every one of these bras, but I thought I'd point it out anyway. All in all, best fitting bra I've come across so far. Read more 72 more words
I want to love this bra so much, but the wire on the outer side of the cup is an issue. I also think this bra expects me to have more immediate projection at the gore than I really have to offer. But, if it weren't for the wire, I'd overlook that. The strap width is amazing. I wish more makers considered slightly wider straps. Overall, not a keeper for me but worth trying on.
FYI, if you order direct from Comexim, you can order the cups made with the "wider cup alteration" of course it will be non-returnable though. Here's an example of what they look like, on BraSwap
I ordered a Basic plunge with reduced cups, straps moved in, and cookie pockets...and then they also added these alterations to the Rubin 🤦♀️
The cups are about 0.5cm wider and deeper than a regular 55H.
Update: They remade the bra and sent it to me. So I've found that an altered plunge is a better fit for me, but this is still wearable. 3HCs make me feel a little squished sometimes, but this is a little more comfortable since it's unpadded and therefore more flexible. Very pretty though.
I usually get XS briefs, but since they run small, I think an S would work too. For reference, I'm an Aerie XS.
Love love the patterns! Kinda like wearing a piece of art. Super pretty bra! Gores almost overlap, gore height is a bit much for me but it's still comfortable because it's quite narrow. Narrow enough for me! Squishes my breasts, too shallow for me. Supposed to fit like a 26E/F. I'd suggest 55HH for a average to projected 26F in this style. Great quality, comfort. Band runs a bit smaller but it's not a problem for me. Super pretty and nice bra, wish it fit me better!

Irish Coffee. How gorgeous. I got it from r/braswap as a plunge and now I have it as an HC as well. <3
Ok I'll get the boring stuff out of the way first, narrow, projected but not as much as the 3HC, I got the moved in straps and narrowed gore alterations and they are great, also 55 band is great, 55H fits like UK 26F as usual, etc etc. The cups are tall but not overly so.
And now on to the interesting part, which is how this bra differs from Irish Coffee in other cuts. The most notable feature is the top of the cups, which have ...a raw lace edge instead of the ribbon edge that other ICs have. I'm the only person on bratabase right now who owns this bra in the HC cut, so I have no idea if that's the reason for the change or if they just ran out of brown ribbon, but either way I'm not complaining. It's really beautiful. The reason I ordered this in HC was because I wanted to minimize the number of seams breaking up the lace pattern, and in my opinion this design feature just adds to that effect even more. I mean, look at it! You can see whole unbroken roses in the lace continuing over the top of the cups. I'm definitely always going to order lacy styles as HCs from now on. I adore Comexim for letting me customize the bra in this way and for their sometimes surprising but always brilliant design choices. And of course for making 55 bands. Comexim is my one true bra love.
Another interesting feature is that the charm at the center is a "C" with a little gem, rather than the sun-shaped charm that my IC plunge has. Again, not sure if this has to do with the cut or just that they ran out of the suns and are switching to Cs generally. I think it's cool that I get to have one of each.
I have the matching briefs as well and they are equally lovely. What a nice set. Read more 244 more words
Your photo is beautiful! This is the first time I've wanted this bra. The lace is gorgeous.....now that the pattern is easily visible. Wow. Thanks for sharing!
I agree. I didn't want this bra at all till I saw your photo. I'm so glad you love it and it fits. I might have to try this one out.
There are a bunch in the 3HC cut that all have the brown ribbon. Sometimes they just switch up how they make them lol
I considered the irish coffee, but went with the piosin ivy and two others instead. I'm still toying with alterations to get my comexim fit just right. So I may order this after I get my current order this week. I get a 3HC with overlapping and shortened gore and just tried moving in the straps. I'm a 55L, so the sizing would be close enough where I'll let you know about the ribbon!
I am fairly new to properly fitting bras. I measure ~24.5 snug, ~23 BTT, and ~32 overbust. I have only ever owned a Freya deco soft cup in 30D, which which was really the wrong size and gaped at the top, and a 28F (28:7) Freya strapless, which is a decent fit but I belive the cups are too wide and the band is extremely firm. Nothing else has fit nearly as well as the deco strapless. I think that is due to the rounded top of the cup, which tend to fit better.
I decided to order from Wellfitting.com because as I ...understand their 26/55 bands are returnable while Comexim's are not. It took about 2 weeks for the bra to be made/shipped and another week for the package to reach me. The packaging didn't seem that damaged, just a bit dirty and worn at the corners of the box. Both of the bras I ordered were in great condition. Upon first seeing them I thought they looked just a bit cheaper than I expected. But once I put them on they felt amazing!
Pros: The basic beige is a 26H (26:8). I loved the shape it gave: much more projected and inward-pointing than the Freya's slightly squashed down and outward-pointing look. Compared to the Freya strapless it felt so light and non-constricting, like the bra would move easily with you and mold to your shape rather than holding you strictly in place (very important to me). I loved the shape it gave: much more projected, rounded, and inward-pointing than the Freya's slightly squashed down and outward-pointing look. There was no quadboobing, uncomfortable wires, and the strap placement was great. The band seemed very stretchy, which was a relief since after the Freya is hooked it feels as if the slight stretch it can achieve is very difficult to get. It is not as shiny as some of the pictures on here make it look. I don't think I am a true 26 band so I can't be sure, but I beleive it runs true to size since it stretched fairly easily to 27''.
Cons: It did not fit. I suspect it was 1/2 a cup to 1 cup too small, but I ordered the next two sizes up just to be sure my inexperience would not cause me to be incorrect. The problems were that gore did not tack, there was too much booby near my armpit outside of the cup, and too much tissue not enclosed by the top of the cup. It might be due to the too-small cups causing the seams to be placed wrong, but the seams were very prominent under a shirt. Swoop and scoop might not stay in place with 26 band too well, but I can't tell since it does not all fit inside. If you divide the bra cup into four quadrants, the lower outer quadrant would have a small area (maybe 1\2 a little finger) that was not filled.
Where some advice would be helpful is regarding the different fit on my breasts. On my larger one it seemed just a bit small and like a cup size up would be perfect. On my smaller breast when I swooped and scooped my nipple was almost falling out. This did not happen on my larger breast even though more tissue was outside of the cup and clearly had more trouble fitting inside. Despite not all of me fitting in the cup it still gaped ate the top a bit with the little booby. What would cause these differences (mainly the gaping)? Would it be a too-loose band or different shaped breasteses causing this? Do you believe a cup size up would aggrevate the gaping?
THIS WAS LONG Thank you for reading and any help. I really want this to work, and I have not found a better alternative to comexim
You can post a fit request, this should help you get some detailed answers to your questions! :)
Yes, post a fit check!! The basic also runs small from what I understand.
immodestmouselcl0706 yes, I think I will, but I have already ordered the size up (a size up in the bravantgarde, too 😃). I'm expecting it to arrive maybe late next week or the week after, so I'll do the fit check when I try those on. Thanks!
Cymbidium if the pics I'm seeing on this review are you, it does look about 1/2 cup too small.
Nah, it's not me. I noticed the same thing and thought it fit kind of similar on me and her.
I have less armpit tissue (for lack of a better term) and the same gaping. My strap placement isn't too wide either.
The color is more intense in person, it’s a rather strong peach 🍑. But it’s gorgeous! I love the details, they’re so feminine. The flowers on the band are absolutely beautiful, and I’m a sucker for flowers.
I wear 55H in Comexim's padded HC/3HC and plunges, and following Joanna's advice I ordered the same size in Naomi. This turned out to be the right size. It fits me well with no gapping or digging in. The shape the bra gives is rounded and just a bit minimized.
This is my holy grail bra. I ordered it with the narrowed gore and lowered cups alterations, and it fits me like a dream. What an amazing bra. It's so comfortable and it makes my boobs look great. Words cannot express how much I love this bra. I might get it in 50HH next time since the band runs just a smidge big, but that's so minor I don't even consider it a problem. Comexim is the best. <3 <3 <3
I would like to preface this review by noting that I have had the gore and cup height reduced. I'm kind of in between sizes where I need the cup height and wires of a standard 26F but the depth of a standard 26FF. I had the gore lowered because high gores can be very painful for my splayed breasts. This bra is fantastic in every way. The wires are perfect for my narrow root, it sits nowhere near my armpit. For ladies who struggle with too-wide straps, Comexim will be a breath of fresh air. The straps are pretty close set and it does not rub against my ...armpits whatsoever. I'm glad I ordered this in a 55/26 band. It does not feel tight at all, just comfortably snug. The look of this bra is just gorgeous. I usually don't like brown lingerie especially against my light skin, but it works here. The ivory lace with the backdrop of a deep chocolate brown gives this bra a very luxurious, sophisticated appeal. I'm a sucker for bows and ribbons, so the coral bows on the gore and straps complement this bra really well. I would also like to note that the quality of the materials used is very impressive. The wings are made with an unbelievably soft material and the cups are lined with comfortable, breathable cotton. I'd also like to note that compared to Ewa Michalak bras, Comexims feel a lot lighter and thinner. Ewa Michalaks feel more 'built'. It depends on your preference https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Overall, I am so impressed with Comexim! I will definitely be ordering from Anna again. It was love at first sight when I saw this bra on the Breakout Bras website. I knew this size was not going to be ideal. But - pink and gray polka dots, oh my! And it was on sale! I could not resist.
I held my breath until it arrived. It fit! Sort of. I liked it enough to go on and purchase several other 3HC-style bras in a better-fitting 28G.
Even though this bra is too small (quadding), it remains one of my favorite bras. It's remarkably comfortable. Depending on the outfit, I achieve great cleavage with it.
I love the color and design of this bra. Compared to the basic it runs about .5 cup size smaller. To my knowledge the basic runs a tad larger than other styles (correct me if I'm wrong about that). The band is more like a 50 than 55. The basic band is almost too big on me in a 55, while the mint in 55 I have to use with an extender. Ideally I would have gotten a 60H in mint while my size in the basic is 55H. I also don't think my shape is most compatible with the plunge style, so that is probably also contributing to why it's not a great fit on me. I love it so much I plan to repurchase in a 60H pl or in a 3HC.
My first Polish bra! So my UK size is 26E/F, I decided to get the 55H off a listing here since it's said to run small. There's not too much to say about the fit because it fits very well! The band is nice and snug on the loosest hook. The wires are a little on the wide and tall size, but I don't mind since the wires are soft. I like the tallness anyway since my roots are so tall, and I feel like the cups actually give me enough coverage for them. I even get a hint of cleavage with this bra! I think if I were to order a Comexim Plunge on my own, I would ask for the straps to be moved in for a little extra comfort and cleavage. The straps aren't so wide set that they're chafing my armpits, but because the cups are so tall I think it'd just be better if they were moved in a little.
Interesting.
Solid black bras always fit tighter - it's the black fabric dye.
The last time I ordered solid black bras, I sister-sized up!
