So I ordered this as a plunge but they made it as a 2HC.
My stats: 26GG/H according to the ABTF calculator, slightly FOT, firm tissue, tall and narrow roots, center full, close set and functionally high set.
Look: The style of this bra is gorgeous. It has blue embroidery all over the cups and cradle that resemble seashells. The straps and hardware are black and simple. I've been a huge fan of this style and this is my third yoko.
Fit: The fit of this is absolutely abysmal! The cups are more wide and shallow than VS, the straps are super far apart and the gore is too high ...and hurts even though it doesn't tack. I get quadboob worse than those ladies in completely historically inaccurate stays in bridgerton. It literally squashes the bottom half of my boob flat and pushes my boobs up to my neck. My nipples are out of the cup. So to sum up it's bad. Edit: it's so bad that I completely forgot to mention the terrible 6" wide wires that stab my armpit terribly. Also the band is TTS for comexim 55

This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered straps,
Ordered as plunge but came as 2HC. Straps moved in 3cm, gore lowered 1.5cm
This bra is so beautiful and well made, but it is too big in the cups and gapes on the top/centre. I love the band length, though. If I were a better seamstress, I would try and put a little tuck in to eliminate the gaping and make it wearable. It was altered from a plunge to a balcony bra with a raised gore and reduced cup height.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Bra has been modified into a balcony bra by increasing gore height and reducing cup height.
Cups are a single layer of mesh with a bit of stretch with embroidered decoration and an elastic trim along the top. It's a very soft, non scratchy material. Band is a double layer mesh. Overall, a minimalist unlined bra from Comexim that I imagine would feel nice and cool in the heat.
While volumetrically this size is good, the combo of elastic trim + greater projection compared to the padded 3HC isn't working for my moderate projection and increasingly full on top shape. Also, I'm realizing that unlined bras just aren't for me.

Comexim Noir Plunge size 55L/26HH. This would beautifully fit those whom wear Anna Pardal 26HH or EM PL size 55H/HH. This is a great opportunity to try this rare size from a highly sought-after brand which has a completely customised fit, whilst avoiding the delay of waiting for your bra to be made! The following 4 photos feature my custom made bra in a 55 band featuring the following alterations. Please find the alterations as follows, which are the recommended options for my size range : reduced cup height, reduced centre gore height, straps moved inward 2cm, 3 hook and eye closures on the band and ...4 band settings. I also requested the inclusion of cookie pockets. This stunning item has been worn/washed twice only and is in pristine as new condition bearing no sign of wear.
This is an exquisitely constructed bra with the finest attention to detail. This stunning style is comprised of a lightly padded plunge cut in the lower cup style. The wires are the narrowest that I have ever encountered whilst the cups are deep and feel completely weightless regardless of the light padding. This style features pale beige comfortable cotton lining the interior of the cups, whilst the exterior is covered in a delicate black lace overlay featuring stylish embroidery covering a nude base whilst the upper edges of the cups are delicately finished with a fine black lace. The detailing is flat and not visible beneath a blouse. The straps are fully adjustable and the band features 3 hooks. Read more 150 more words
Finally, a Comexim that fits. I originally bought the Georgia in 28H. I figured starting with 28 bands was the safest place to start. The 28H is wearable but the gore doesn't tack and the fit of the cup is a little big on top and the straps a little wide. It also slides below my IMF. I thought I might need alterations to get Comexiums to fit or I should have gotten 28G. Last week Wellfitting had a clearance type sale and had the Georgia in a 26 band. Even though it wasn't refundable I decided to give it a try anyway. I'm so glad I did. The band is nice and snug, no need for an extender, the placement of the straps is perfect for my narrow shoulders, the gore tacks, no sliding down. Cup fit is almost perfect, I do fall slightly toward center but at this point I don't care. I'm jumping with joy.
This bra is beautiful and well-constructed. It offers quite a lot of immediate projection and quite a lot of overall depth. The wires are nice and narrow! I'd say it best fits an even to slightly full on bottom top shape, though the foam is pretty flexible so it could vary. The eyelash lace looks wonderful and isn't scratchy or irritating in the slightest, I don't even notice it when I'm wearing it.
I have quite firm tissue and a bunch of centre fullness, so the gore on this bra does not tack. However, I have bent the gore inwards (the wires are very soft) and it comes much ...closer to tacking now. The bra is still secure and supportive so I don't mind this. When I press the gore fully in I get some slight quadboobing (I seem to have grown again...) so a cup size up may have been a good idea (then again it may not have been as the quadding is only slight), but it's a moot point as the gore doesn't tack anyway. I'd suggest figuring out your Comexim size through a returnable site like @Wellfitting, then ordering direct from @Comexim from then on.
I ordered this bra directly from Comexim and it took just over a month to arrive (though the post in my area is quite slow). The only alterations I ordered were the size (55L is a custom size) and the 2 seamed shape. When it arrived, I noticed the band has 4 columns of 3 hooks (which is amazing) and the wire channels overlap at the gore. I didn't order this but it happened and frankly both of these things are great!
The bra arrived in a cardboard box in very good condition. The eyelash lace was folded over the cup on one side, so it has a tendency to curl under, but I suspect this will stop after I wash it. The only construction issues I see are a few threads sticking out of the inside of the gore that at first glance look like a wire's about to stick through, but it isn't. There are one or two loose threads on the bra otherwise but I can easily cut them off. It's a lot better than offerings from UK brands which come in at the same price or even higher - and this bra is covered in lace in comparison to their much plainer ones!
All in all it is a great bra and I thoroughly recommend it! Read more 308 more words
Oh no! How disappointing.
