I'm super happy with this bra. It's a lovely green satin with black lace detailing. The fit is really good. The cups are a bit taller than I need but they come in enough on the tops that I don't get gaping. The straps are comfortable too. The band feels more like a 65 so I need to fasten it on the tightest hooks.

    • How is the colour compared with your Jade? Same green or different?

    • It's exactly the same green as my Jade.

    • Lovely. Glad it fits you.

    • 1

Looks nice on you. I actually prefer how this looks in real life over how it looks online. The colour is richer in real life. Pretty.

    • Thanks, guys.

    • Is this one direct or from Breakout Bras?

    • 1

Breakout. I got a great deal.

    • 1

How much is shipping from breakout bras?

    • 1

Shipping is free if you spend over $80. I've had 4 or 5 orders from them over the last few years, and this is the first one that was opened at the border and thus, I got charged duty and customs.

    • I’m thinking about getting something from them sent to LA when I go in February, but I have to wait til the tickets are confirmed that we’re going, and then I have to get the timing right so it’s there before I get there, but not sitting there too long either.

    • 1

Oh that's awesome, I didn't realize it was free to Canada! Hmm, I'll have to start looking at their website more often

    • 2

      They have great sales too.

    • How much did you have to pay for customs?

    • 1

I paid 30-something Canadian on my $118 US order. It's the first time I've had to pay.

    • 1

Wow this look great! Very pretty color. Congrats on a good fit :)

This bra is so gorgeous. The outer fabric is soft and satiny and the most beautiful shade of amber. The cotton cookie pockets are wonderfully soft and the cups aren't too tall. The straps are comfortable and have a lovely embroidery-like detail. They are easy to adjust and have been moved in so they aren't eating my arm pits. This bra has 3 hooks per row as well as 4 column of hooks. The band is nicely snug, stretching to 26.5". Overall, it's really well made and comfortable. Sadly, it's too small for me.

How is this bra in terms of immediate projection? Like compared to em chp style?
And are you planning on selling this? ;D

    • Sooooo pretty. Too bad it's too small :(

BronteBeach- looks pretty comparable to EM CHP. I added a picture for comparison. I will probably be selling this to rachaelll, but if it doesn't work out, I will let you know.

An absolutely gorgeous bra. Padding is not too heavy or stiff the way the EM Syrena is.

I have this bra out for a test run from Zathiya to try to decide if I need reduced cups and straps moved in.
I think I definitely need wires overlapped . With my touching boobs, the gore is always shifted to one breast
    or the other.
This band is very short for a 60. I needed 1.5 inch in extender just to close it. My tight measurement is 26.5 and comfortable 27.5.
I have a small amount of gaping in my smaller breast .
What does everyone think? Would I do better in reduced cup and straps moved in?
This bra fits well under my arms, not too wide in the cup with the wrinkles that I've had with every UK size I've tried.

  5. Mimi Half Cup (288)

    2
    like

    60K

    Didn't fit

    Ordered Alterations:
    - straps moved in
    - cookie pockets

    AESTHETICS:

The stock photo shows a sort of silvery vertical ripple pattern. It does not exist on this bra. It's a very solid, plain-ish black. Others may be pleasantly surprised by that, but I was a bit disappointed. The straps have a cute solid black detailing to them. The only part of this bra that isn't black is the faux silver-and-pearl charm that is stitched onto the bow at the center gore.

    FIT:

This bra wasn't available in a 65K, or any higher cups in a 65+ band, and I really wanted to try their half-cups. I think this ... would have worked for me in a 65L or even 65M, or maybe a 70K/70L. I do think their half cup might be a better shape for me if I can get the right size.

    MATERIAL:

The material isn't bad, but nowhere near as luxe as my AP's. The material inside the cups is soft cotton, but the material of the band feels much like the way I described my Cleo Lily in Swan Print-- like the plasticky-feeling nylon tea bags Tazo uses. For me, that's uncomfortable against my skin, and I'm the sort to blister if that's against my skin all day. I do think it feels quite sturdy, and would stand up well to wear. The charm feels like it may be made out of the same stuff as rings you get from the quarter machine-- it's cute, though.

    CUPS:

As previously stated, the inside of the cups are lined with soft cotton. They're lightly padded with foam, and there is a single vertical seam. I'm not sure if the bottom of the cups felt too shallow because they *are* shallow at the bottom, or if it's because the cups are too small. The height was great, though, even with my short roots (I think they're short? They act short). They are a bit wide on me, but that may not be an issue since Comexim wires seem more about support than murder, which is a nice counter to my experience with certain UK wires. *coughcoughPanachecough*

    STRAPS:

The placement on these isn't as comfortable as on my Anna Pardal Nuance Plunges, and I think for me it would chafe the front of my underarms after a while, but it definitely doesn't murder them the way my CK Tease does. I do find that the cute detailing on the straps makes it very difficult to adjust them, although I think they tried to combat that with the second layer of wider, solid material under the ruched top layer.

    GORE:

I adore the way Comexim set up the gore. It's .7" at the top, and for the top 1.25" it's no wider than an inch. At the very bottom of the gore, it's about 2" wide. EVERY gore is too wide/high for me, with the apparent exceptions of Comexim and Anna Pardal. Also, their wires are sort of more like Freya wires, so they aren't super painful even if they were to dig. However, I think I would need them to overlap to tack properly; the gore soft tacks, with the top not quite touching my sternum. I blame my boobs, for loving to cuddle.

    BAND:

I'd hazard a guess that this would fit like a 28G or 26GG. The band feels like it isn't likely to stretch out much, or quickly. It can stretch further than 27", but the cups begin to distort. As stated before, the band is an odd, almost plasticky nylon-feeling stuff. Not my fave. It may have more give after a wash or two, as I think there's a ton of starch or whatever in it.

    WIRES:

Nope, not quite in my IMF. They're wide enough and then some, but the cup is a bit shallow, or just too small. Either way, the wires don't snuggle up to my IMF the way they should.

    DOWNSIDES:

    - Straps are tough to adjust.
    - It's too small.
    - Oddly uncomfortable (for me) material for the full length of the band.
    - Dammit it's too small.

    I'll be listing this!

      LOL!

    • bonjourhi I'd asked for reduced cups and gore on my Queen of Hearts, along with straps moved in. I did say I only wanted the straps moved in on Mimi, but it's possible they reduced the gore. Maybe even the cups, which might explain the plungey slope, since they usually mostly remove cup near the straps. That would explain why one of the emails I got said the Queen could be "conquered" 3cm and Mimi could be "conquered" 1cm.

    • bonjourhi I wrote it in both, but I can totally see how it could be confusing with the language barrier.

I bought this from Breakout Bras, and I swear this bikini has narrower wires and smaller cups than my regular 60K (28H) bras I get from there. Something I would warn prospective buyers of the Vivien is that the band seems to be more stretchy and be looser overall, I cannot stop the band from riding up, and this is not the case in a first few wears for my other Comexim plunges. I wonder if I were sent the wrong size, or perhaps the sizing varies based on swimwear vs regular lingerie. Overall, an interesting buy; I like how it makes my boobs look, but the gore doesn’t tack and the band stretches out very quickly. I would say to not expect the same level of support you’d get from regular bras at Comexim. But it’s still better than a lot of mainstream swimwear!

Holy cleavage town!!! And i LOVE LOVE LOVE this colour so much!!! The material is similar to what is on the Basic Plunge- it is slightly iridescent and stretchy, reminiscent of athletic wear. The entire model seems to be based on the Basic, with only the colour being different- there are bows on the gore and the straps, the colour extends to the band and straps, and it is a plunge as well. I usually wear a 60L in Comexim but this also fit great as I requested for deeper cups just to try other sizes as the 60L is *slightly* too big at the apex. This is ... a newer model compared to the second-hand ones I buy off of Bratabase and it seems as if there is little to no difference between the fit of the Charlotta 60K (2023) and the Mariposa 60L (2012…IIRC) Even the wires are the same width. Perhaps they sent me a 60L by mistake?? I might just not be as observant lol.

I forgot to request for the straps to be moved in and they are too wide on my body…sigh…maybe next time.

Aaaanyways, I am not 100% as to how much the bra band should stretch to fit my body. It fits fine, but when putting it on, I barely have to pull the sides to clasp it. Should I try a 55 band? I’m kinda between band sizes at the moment lol. I just see other pictures of bras seeming to fit other ladies (and other genders, i shouldn’t assume) a lot tighter, and wonder if mine should fit that way too. The band doesn’t leave marks or anything. I’m completely fine with the fit as of now, it’s super comfortable and I have no complaints. I guess I will have to try them myself!

I ordered this bra so I could try to figure out Comexim sizing before ordering directly from Comexim (possibly with alterations). The cups seem to be too tall and possibly too big which is interesting because I have a Gloria in a 28H from Breakout Bras that fits pretty well other than needing an overlapping gore and I believe a 28H is equivalent to a 60K Comexim? My best guess is that it may be because it's an older model Comexim. Even though it didn't quite fit the bra itself is super comfortable as is every Comexim I've tried.

  11. Gloria Plunge Bra (526)

Favorite bra ever. I ordered it on a whim because I needed a black bra and the first 30G I got from Breakout Bras (the size I had been wearing) was way too small in the cup and too big in the band so I exchanged it for a 28H and it fits so well! Band is still a tad loose for a 28 and I do probably need an overlapping gore but overall extremely happy.

I'm very happy with this bra from Breakout Bras. The band runs pretty tight so I'm wearing it with an extender- it feels too restrictive without, at least for now. It's black with bright copper stripy accents and black lace trim- very petty and matches easily with black undies. I don't feel any irritation (scratchy or itchy spots) like I often due with new bras. The fit is great (just the tiniest hint of quad boob on my larger side and a smidge of strap gap on smaller side). My only complaint is it's in my armpits a bit. And the very best thing about this bra is it seems to have more immediate projection than any Comexim I've had. It sits less than 1/2 inch below my IMF which is really great for me. I'm not sure if all Megans are like this or if I just got lucky.

I found this little gem at custom curves in Dartmouth. It's so nice to be able to try before you buy instead of ordering blind. She has a whole whack of 28 G-plus bras. It's awesome. I've worn this all day and it's really comfy. Doesn't stay perfectly in my IMF, but nothing does. What's particularly great about this bra is that it seems to fit both sides, even though I have a cup size difference between breasts. I have no gaping and no quad boob. It seems to mould to my breasts, almost like spacer foam. The cups are tall on me, like all unmodified Comexim plunges, but it really doesn't bother me as long as there's no strap gap. The band is nice and snug, the straps feel good, no seams are bothering me, and I feel really well supported. It gives a nice shape too.

Added later- So I did a bit more research, and 60K 3HCs seem to have a cup depth of 9.3 or 9.4", so this is not small compared to others. It's just a lot smaller than I expected. I should have done my homework.

    • Gah! This is gorgeous!!!! I am so sad to hear that it is too small for you. I hope the others fit better.

    • They don't. :(

    • Sonya, I'm so sorry. It is truly crummy when your custom Comexim order is a flop. All that anticipation and hope down the drain. There is nothing worse than a gorgeous bra that doesn't fit.

    • It's almost enough incentive to lose 10 pounds.

    • The other two fit the same and are equally gorgeous.

    • Sonya - but the holiday treats!!! I swear this time of year is a nightmare for bra fitting. I need a 'winter weight' bra lol

    • It's so pretty! Sorry it didn't fit you! rachaelll I wonder if this would fit you... ;)

    • Sonya Do you think it fits smaller because of the cookie pockets? I have a 65J with cookie pockets that fits about the same as my 65HH.

    • Sonya oh I just saw that you got reduced cup height too... maybe the combination of that and the cookie pockets made it fit a bit smaller?

    • Wilderness- Maybe. I thought I would be safe ordering the K. I should have ordered it in L or M, I guess. An unmodified 60J/55K plunge fits me pretty well, except for being too tall. I thought the 3HCs would have more immediate depth than the plunges, but they look about the same to me.

    • Omg it’s so beautiful! What heartbreak!

    • Sonya , yeah, the 3HCs don't have a ton of depth in my experience. Especially once you start adding straps moved in, cup height reduced and cookie pockets. I had to order up one size when I made similar alterations. Too bad it didn't fit.. it IS beautiful. You said you got two more? Which ones?

The closest fitting bra I have ever tried on so far! Being in Alaska, my brick and mortar options are next to nonexistent (our lone specialty store is closing Jan 2018) and my options were limited to Freya and Panache. Freya bras were the closest to what I needed for daily wear yet the wires always extended past my tissue and pressed against my sides. Ingrid's wires sit comfortably next to my tissue, and I feel contained!

My issue with the bra is the core. it is extremely narrow (comparable to my Panache Envy) and rests on my smaller breast. I can live with it, but I will first exchange it for a different cup size.

The bra looks wonderful on you and I'm glad you got to branch out to different brands. Just remember that if you do go up a cup, the wires will likely get wider. I am not very familiar with @Comexim, but I "know" this is a general rule that bras follow. I also think the tiny gap you gave now may get larger. Perhaps you could alter the gore or cup so that it will sit more inbetween your breasts and not on your tissue. Hope I was atleast a little helpful!

Perfect PERFECT narrow wires. Straps are perfectly placed. There is, however, a gaping hole up top near the armpits where the cups wish I had boob. I have very short and very narrow roots, and the underwires perfectly hold them, but I don't have any fullness near the sides of my body or near my armpits. Not sure if going down a cup will be a good solution because my center fullness is very near quadding near the gore. Still, this is NEARLY PERFECT and super comfortable.

I am so jealous, I adore this bra and have never tried Comexim cause I fear the narrow wires. But damn they have some beautiful, unique bras and I really could stand for their immediate projection.

    • lcl0706 You know what I'm thinking? It could be possible to bend the wires to make it wider. I know you can bend the wires to make a cup a little more narrow, though I only have that experience with unlined cups. But since there's so much projection, maybe it's feasible that you could bend the underwires outward and have enough room (though I'm not sure how this will work since it's not unlined?)... Hmm.

    • I looked at your listing for it and it's only 5.0" wires. My absolute minimum is 5.5" - that would be some serious bending lol.

I ought to look around at Comexim's info on here and see if they have any bras that tend to run 5.5-5.6" and 9.5"-ish deep. Those seem to be my ideal measurements at the moment. My two 10" deep bras are too deep.

    • 1

That would be, omg! Yeah...don't do anything I hypothesize could work LOL. Looks like we both need good immediate projection, which seems difficult to find regardless of wire width. :'(

    • Yeah, I've heard Panache Jasmine and Floris are good for it, but I just cannot get on board with the unlined floral thing... :-S

    • 1

Jasmine has the animal print and houndstooth print too. I've given up on caring about the pattern as long as I get a fit.

Absolutely love, love this bra. It's truly gorgeous. Unfortunately, the bra has a LOT of stretch, so I'm listing it. I ordered this in a 60K, which is my usual size in Comexim. I think this bra would be much more appropriate for someone size 65.
