Nice length for a longline. It hits me at my natural waistline, but I am short. But it's longer than most longlines I've tried, especially the 30E - Claudette » Dessous Long Line Bra I requested a narrowed gore and it's definitely narrow. I think that did help with the width between the ir longlines tend to have a good amount of space between the cups) I think I requested a 1cm cup reduction, but I wish the cups were shorter, not that they're too tall, because they're not. I just want something with a little less coverage. There's stitching across the top, but I do think the good for FOT breasts.
Juliette is a discontinued standard plunge from 2012. The bra, straps, lace trim, and ribbons are a gorgeous moody mauve color. The lace overlay is a grayish blue geometric pattern. The lace lays over the cups and extends to the band. There is an acrylic crystal charm at the center attached to the bow. My Juliette is tagged a 65G, however I have marked it as altered to exclude it from measurement data because I am absolutely positive that it is mislabeled.
Juliette's band only stretches to 26". The woman I bought it from said that it ran snug and as such it had never really been worn, but two band ...sizes too small is not "snug", it's a sewing error. I browsed the other Juliettes on this site and not a single one of them was two band sizes too small. Because this one is, I think it's a 55HH that was tagged incorrectly. Because it does not stretch, I can't wear it without an extender and I wear two columns of it with the bra. With the extender the band is better, but it does bring the straps pretty far out in the back. It's manageable and doesn't really bother me, but I do wish it were more TTS. The straps are comfortable and fully adjustable. They're not very stretchy and are a good width. With the extender I do have to angle them in a bit, but they stay in place pretty well. The wires are very narrow and very comfortable. The cups are a good shape, round, centered, and to the front. They are pretty shallow at the bottom, but it isn't uncomfortable and I haven't pushed them out of my IMF yet. Probably because the band is so firm.
Juliette is beautiful and I searched for one for a long time. Ideally it would fit better and closer to the tagged size, but it does not. This is not the best technical fit, but it is wearable and I'm keeping it.
This bra is beautiful, the pattern makes me think of Ancient Rome. It's too bad it's mislabelled but the cups fit great!
Yeah, the cups are pretty good. A little wrinkle on my bigger side but nothing I can't overlook. Thanks! I think it's Grecian myself. It's really a nice color combination. Real understated and adult like.
I love the look of this bra so much. The hunter green lace is so pretty and the whole bra is fairy like. My particular bra, I feel, has quite a bit of the lace - but I wish there was more. I'd love to see it continued through the sides of the band like the lace on the Victoria. Oh well. In person, the beige on my bra looks like a rose gold. It's really striking with the green. It doesn't look like that in my photos though. I wonder if they use different fabric at different times or if everybody's Ivy is a bit soft pink.
The band ...is alright. It starts out really snug and comfortable on the loosest set of eyes, but it stretches really quickly and I need to move on to the middle set during the day. Initially I was happy to have ordered a 65 and not a 60 as the band only stretches to 28" when it hasn't been worn. Obviously the elastic loosens quickly and I'm wishing I had bought a 60 after all since I'm concerned about longevity. Once the bra has rested it only stretches to 28" again and I'm back on the loosest eyes until the middle of the day. As long as that continues to be the case I can deal with it. The wires, as always, are where they need to be. No stabbiness, no rubbing, no migrating. Super narrow and right along my root. The straps are comfortable, not very stretchy, not too long, and a decent width. My straps are embroidered and the adjusters are easy to move and stay in place. Thankfully this lacks the knife-like edging that my Victoria has, so the bra is virtually undetectable by my body until the band starts to ride up.
The underwear are a M for my 38" hips. They fit fine and are comfortable, but the briefs are very full coverage and I'm lukewarm about them. They're great under a skirt/dress, but I wish they were cuter. The bra and thong feel youthful and free-spirited and the briefs feel a bit matronly. There is just so much beige fabric on them and not enough of the lace to balance it out. Read more 262 more words
This bra is so gorgeous and looks great on you! I think it would be beautiful with the lace extended as well. This is the first Comexim I got that fit well and still my favorite Comexim bra.
This is a marked improvement over the 65F I tried previously. No quadding, I'm not squashed, and it's *so* comfortable. Very soft and the wires are perfect. Put it on and forget about it.
The band is snug at a 65, it's not overly stretchy, but the material is soft and it doesn't dig in. The straps hold the adjusters well and don't dig into my shoulders. They're set at a good width for my broad shoulders and don't dig into my armpits. The wires follow my fold pretty perfectly. My gore doesn't tack. I don't know why. It's a good .5cm from my chest. When I push it in, I don't ...quad anywhere. The band isn't too tight, and it's not shallow. Measurements are in my ideal range and if anything this is deeper than my other Comexims that do tack. What the algebra?!
I'm done though, I'm not ordering a 65H, it wouldn't fit. I know that because I tried a 70G and I swam in those cups. It's a mystery.
The bra is beautiful. The only thing I don't like about it is the blingy charm in the middle, but I can fix that with some pliers.
Undies are a Medium for my 38" wide hip/31" hip bone. Read more 96 more words
I got this bra in exchange for my 65J which was always a bit big but didn’t quite look like it was, perhaps because it is a little bit closed on top. Having lost weight last year, it no longer fit and I was ecstatic to be able to do a swap for a smaller one.
I have actually been gaining a little bit of weight back, and this one is a titch too small in the cups, or perhaps it’s just too short. That said, the quadding is more like bubbling, and it’s actually giving me a really uplifted and rounded shape, perhaps because this style tends ...to run a bit shallow compared with other plunges. If I add an extender, I settle in a bit more, and it does feel a bit more comfortable around my ribcage. It’s fine as is, but borderline too tight. I have to measure it still, but I am guessing that it’s probably pretty close to the listed measurements, and probably about 28.5” stretched. I can do it but prefer 29” as I can have a sensitive ribcage.
Overall, it’s a fairly good fit, and I think it’s going to relax a bit more with wear. I’m not sure if I will wear it with the extender because the hook spacing is a little bit different, and I don’t want to damage the bra with a slight change in tension on the hooks.
I think a 65H or 70G would have been perfect in this one.
Side note: the tattoo is temporary from inkbox. It’s also a bit messed up as it was the first one I did and questioned if I had it lined up straight…but between my eye problem and slight perfectionism, I adjusted it a few times but the ink was already transferring which created a bit of a blurry look. Your analysis of the fit is in line with the pictures. It's such a beautiful bra. I hope it does relax a bit for you!
Is it just me, or does this not look very plunge-y for a plunge bra?
learningaboutbras yeah I find that the fit of this is not quite as plunge-y, but then Comexim plunges often don’t seem to be as plunge-y unless you have a reduced gore.
I’m hoping it will settle and relax with a bit of wear, and I may settle in more once the swoop and scoop isn’t so fresh. I’m fitting my Megan similarly but I think it’s maybe a smidge taller and open and I don’t bubble as much. I’m thinking maybe this size with added depth would work or one size up, possibly with reduced cups and gore 1cm. I’m leaning toward the larger size because I have a gap in what is fitting me right now.
This looks great, Calluna! Such a classic from Comexim. I've read it "the one bra every redhead should own." lol.
Thanks BraOdyssey ! And yea, I’m not redheaded but I do have a little warmth in my hair.
There is no bra that has ever fit me better than Comexims. I am very close set, with less than a skinny finger width between my breasts, slightly FoT, and moderately wide rooted. In most other brands I am currently in the 30D-30DD-32D range, but for Comexim alone it is 30F, so use their fit guide instead of using your standard size if you are new to them. The shape of their plunge cups is perfect for me, as is the width of the gore, with no wires sitting on my breast tissue and no gapping anywhere. This bra is no exception, and particularly ...pretty. I love that the center bow is a subtle boxy shape that echoes the stripes, the satin shine is pleasingly contrasted with matte mesh and lace, and the overall look comes out very classy and sexy. I never get tired of the interior cotton lining either. This was my first completely new Comexim, and at first I was concerned the band was too tight, but after a couple of weeks with an extender I was able to drop the extender and it fits snug and firm. I could not be happier with this purchase. Read more 99 more words
The colour is so pretty and the hardware is silver. It is comfortable and unique looking. Even though it's a 65 the band fits my 26" underbust well but if it were more snug that would be even better for me, but it's certainly good enough for me to wear. If you're a 28 band maybe it would be even better for you. The cups are typical comexim super soft inside.
Side note: When i walk, the centre gore chain lightly knocks together like a tiny windchime and I like the sound.
You rock this red....and SO many other colors!! Gorgeous!!
Love4Pollinators thanks. People tell me I look good in bold colors, so I try to stick with those. Lol I would love to have a bold blue or dark green bra.

This bra is so beautiful. The navy lace is so soft and elegant, it really looks and feels much more expensive than it is. I got my usual 65G as a special order plunge and it's a good fit.
The band is tight on my bra, stretching to about 26.5-27. It also has four columns of eyes which is good. I don't need an extender with this because of that fourth column, but my bra is a band size small. The straps are not embroidered, but the bottom is felted, so the sliders stay in place. They are relatively wide and they are comfortable as they are not super stretchy. The ...wires are in my fold and follow the root perfectly.
Comexim is a very comfortable bra brand for me. All of their bras just sort of meld to my body and I don't have to mess with them during the day. Nothing slides, nothing has ever bothered me until this bra....the edges of the hooks and eyes are sharp, very sharp. So sharp they rubbed me until I was bleeding (I couldn't change my bra before that point as I was not home). I need to rid the bra of those sharp edges, once I do it'll be fine but until then I cannot wear it again.
The cups on this bra are high. I'm short-rooted and high set and I would benefit from a reduced cup alteration, but I don't ever know what ones I would want reduced until they're in my hands. This is one I would want shorter. The eyelash lace comes up really high and it just isn't as striking as it would be in a shorter cup. Either reduced plunge or the half-cup. Because of this, I'm strongly considering ordering this bra again.
The underwear are wonderful. They're a little more modern than other bottoms I have ordered from Comexim. The crotch panels are narrower and the back panel in the thong is thinner. They're also quite low rise. The brief is a non-elasticized double layered mesh in the rear, it's a sort of tanga cut and not at all full-coverage. It basically bisects my bum and leaves no lines at all! It's a beautiful pair of underwear and something I can wear under both pants and skirts. I would like all of my brief styles to be cut just like these are, I absolutely love them. I bought both in a Medium for a good fit of my 38" backside.
Off topic - I decided to erase my tattoos in my more recent photos instead of blurring them out. If it's more distracting, please let me know.
This looks amazing on you! I've had my eye on it for a while now but I haven't taken the plunge and bought it yet. If I may ask, how did you get the customization done? I couldn't find it on the website but I know I'd need shorter cups in this for sure. I'm so glad you did this review (even though it makes me want to spend money I don't have). :)
Do you find that this bra is comparable in depth to other Comexims you own in the same size? I'm considering buying one and getting it in the plunge as you've done, but I tend to need the Comexim bras that are slightly more deep and narrow than usual.
gratiat You can place your order on the website and in the comment box ask for it to be made in a plunge style along with whatever customizations you need.
KeighleyKnight Yes, I found the cups pretty true to size. This measures roughly the same as my other 65Gs with the exception of the stretched band.
Kind of shallow. Though i didn't do much research before, just bought a cheap one. I probably just need more cup depth too.
The wires are an odd fit for me. It does of course not want to sit in my IMF. Then the gore is very narrow up top, more than I need, but then widens out quickly which causes problems.
The cups are tall and irritating.
The seamed cups are disappointing. The cups dip in too much at the seam, between the pads. This leaves my boobs looking lumpy and sad in some shirts. I would rather wear an illfitting Deco than deal with the seams.
So yeah, a disappointing experience. Comexim and Ewa are just generally out of my price range, when most of my favorite bras have come almost new or lightly used for like $20. So I don't know if I will try much more in the future anyway.
Don't let this bra stop you from getting Comexim. This bra just so happened to be shallow (some of their plunges are). Idk if $35 is more than you want to pay, but you can ask for the tropical garden, ginger, otylia, Elena or pantera as a 3HC for around that much.
The only Comexims that give me enough immediate projection are the 3hc with two vertical seams. Everything else it too shallow.
So much to learn - definitely will try again. $35 or so really isn't bad, I will give in one day. I thought the Wellfitting Cats bra was going to turn me, but I for sure can't pay that much right now, haha!
Othe bands have swallow models as well. Thanks annabellynn for the review. :-) Having read that I am not so disappointed any more that Comexim is out of my price range, too.
I just measured it to have a bit smaller cup depth than I originally thought, so thats probably an issue too. I'm just not showing much quad because of the tall cups. Sizing up in this model probably wouldn't be super helpful, the cups would be even taller! So not sure if it runs smaller or if this just isn't my ideal size, but interesting :)
Finally I've finished my review of beautiful Comexim Samoa (452) swimwear. Cups of the bra are shallow and they don't have much immediate projection. However it's not a problem for me. Underwires are narrow, definitely narrower than in 3HC and little wider than in plunge. It's beautiful and it gives my boobs really great support. However it has a problem with discolouration. The dark blue fabric discolours so the white inner parts of the bra and bottoms are lightly blue now although they were white. Full review on my blog.
Bra is listed on Breakout as a 30F, fits and is about the same cup size as my bras that are 30DD (and the one other comexim 32E I have that's a bit too big in the band and I wear on the tightest hooks). I got this on r/braswap, the colors weren't for me but I wanted the fit.
As a whole, this is probably one of my best fits. One of the only padded cups I own where there is virtually no gapping, especially not at the top which is a common issue for me. Wires are the right width - I have narrower roots, so it ...is not too narrow and from what I can tell sits right where my tissue ends. It doesn't show through shirts like bras like the deco can which is slightly too open at top. It gives subtle cake-on-a-plate cleavage, but not "smushed-too-shallow" cleavage. Cups sit a bit high on my armpits and can sometimes be an issue, wondering if I need to loosen the straps. Will update if I figure this out. Read more 72 more words
So, I was pretty sure I had ordered this as a three-part half-up, but received a plunge instead. I should have returned it to Comexim but didn't feel like dealing with the return shipping (so, it'll be listed on here shortly for anyone interested!). I didn't personally love the lace pattern, but thought the olive bow decorations were cute. As a full-on-bottom splayed lady, I knew the plunge was unlikely to be a good fit based on shape and this confirmed it for me, though the high quality is what I've come to expect from Comexim. I unfortunately can't comment on fit relative to other plunges or Comexim plunges as this is the only one I've tried since starting my ABTF journey.
I was looking forward to this bra for so long and I finally pick it up from the post office today after missing the delivery on Saturday. I rush home to try it on, I get it out of the box and it's beautiful. I got to try it on and it doesn't fit, the band runs a size small and due to a bit of growth the the cups are too small, 65G has always been a bit on the edge of fit for me, and I was worried about this since some of my other Comexims weren't fitting right anymore, but the Sonia is ...worse than any of those on me. I did get the straps moved in 2cm on this although due to the it not fitting well at all and having a ton of quad I can't judge if I like that or not, I also got it with 3 hooks instead of the usual 2. In addition to the bra not fitting I got matching panties and I ordered the wrong size having forgotten I need a medium in Comexim panties and not a small. I will most likely be listing both the bra and panties, If the band was more TTS I might hold on to it for bit and see if I go back down in size.
I did also order a Basic and it seems to be an okay fit I got a 65H with reduced cups, trying it out for a bit to see if it will work.
Update: I swapped a bra and got a Sonia half cup in 75G, the band runs small and fits like a small 70 which works pretty well since I'm between a 65/70. The 3 part half cup works really well for me as well. Since I hadn't sold the panties, once I knew I was getting another Sonia I decided to hang on to them. They are a bit on the small side, but aren't uncomfortable. I did place another Comexim order and added a pair of medium panties which I think will fit better. Read more 251 more words
I already have the bra & don't know what you'd want for just the undies but I may be interested in them, depending on how they'd fit where the elastic hits at the top. Most of my hip measurement comes from my butt, which isn't an issue in a thong. I wear a 36 in Ewa undies.
I've never tried any Ewa undies, but I'm between a small and medium in most underwear I'm about 31 inches at the hip bone and these fit but dig in a bit too much they measure 12" not stretched and easily stretched to just under 15". If you think that will work for you how does $12 with free shipping sound?
That's a great price but unfortunately I think they'll be too small :-( I'm 33" at my hip bone & if they dig in on you I know they'll dig in on me. Dang it!!
If you're US-based, how long was the wait time from the shipment date?
I think after it shipped it was maybe a couple weeks.
I bought this thinking the eyelash lace would be more dramatic in the half-cup than it is in my plunge. Nope. In this case it's my build and not the bra. Cup height is the same as my plunge, so it doesn't change anything.
The bra is gorgeous and the band is more TTS than my plunge. I find this cut a bit too shallow and more minimizing than I'd like, so I'm going to keep my plunge for now and list this one.
This bra is really pretty and the lace is thin enough that it shouldn't show through most shirts. The band on this is quite tight, even with an extender it's still a bit small and I need a bit of a second extender.
Again, so soft. So comfortable. Band, straps, cups, all good. This gore tacks. Soft tack, so it barely floats away when I bend, but it does touch.
More M bottoms.
This is just a really pretty set. It reminds me of my Grandma-in-law's couch. Take that as you will, but I think it's great. Flowers in earth tones are lovely.
I love it! So comfortable. My measurements are 28" underbust, 33.5" standing bust, 35" leaning bust and my current UK size is 30DD/E. I would describe my shape as narrow, short roots, and projected.
I have several other comexim bread and they're all slightly different. This one is about half a cup larger than it's 'basic' counterpart. This bra is really comfortable and I really like the pattern! I'm fot/even and super squishy tissue and have wideish roots. I am more on the muscle-y side in my shoulders and upper body.
So beautiful on you!!!
