Very cute details! This bra is nice mix of comfy and cute! The color isn't crazy and could be worn under many shirts. I got this bra used from another bratabase user. The lace is slightly worn in some areas and the band is either stretched out or just too loose. If I pull the band tight and scoop, the gore will sit flat but I get quadding on my larger side. Without pulling the band tight, it rides up and the gore does not tack at all. The material lining the inside of the cups is comfy.
I have been eyeing the Comexim Ingrid for some time, but it’s generally regarded as a big ‘maybe’ for people with my shape. I knew there was a chance of calamity, but the pattern was so beautiful I decided to give it a try anyway. The cups are very close together, and closer inspection revealed that it has an overlapping gore. This is an alteration commonly requested when buyers order direct from Comexim, but I had ordered a standard bra with no alterations, and unfortunately need the wires to be further apart rather than closer together. In this instance, the unasked for alteration was a disappointing surprise. I ...had heard recently though that this may be a new thing that they’re doing on all plunges going forward, because it is so commonly requested. I don’t know if that’s true, but if so it would make sense.
It quickly became apparent that a 65G was not going to work for me; the top of the cups were cutting in and causing some quadding, though the band was comfortable. Upon closer inspection I noticed that in order to contain me on the sides, the wires were distorting. If the wires were sitting as intended, the cups would be even smaller. I’m not sure if sizing up in the cups again would give me a perfectly fitting bra or just a different set of fit issues, but I’m inclined to keep it for now. Read more 133 more words
This bra would be good for someone with average to narrow roots and some projection. Not suitable for shallow or wide/tall roots as this bra is pretty closed on top with a narrower cup shape. I typically wear a 30F and ordered a 65G. The volume was correct, but the shape wasn't.
Pros: super cute construction with soft foam cups and a comfortable band. The underwire is supportive without being uncomfortable, and the material is a breathable cotton blend. The band is true to size.
Cons: This is likely because the shape was wrong for me, but I found the part of the bra where the strap meets the cup to be a little irritating/itchy. The cups run small, so order at least one full cup size larger than you normally would in US/UK sizing.
Soft fabric with foam cups. Wires seem to fit a little wider than most Comexim bras. Bought this in a 65G/30G, but the cups fit more like a large E/small F. This style of bra would be good for someone with more immediate projection with even or center-full breasts and shorter roots. Unfortunately this bra was a case of correct volume/wrong shape for me. Wouldn’t recommend to someone with wide roots and shallow projection.
My first Polish bra--I was confused with size conversion, and thus purchased about a cup size too small for a perfect fit (UK 28FF/30F, should have bought a 65H). With less aggressive scoop & swoop work, and non-shark week breasts, however, I think the smaller cups are quite manageable. Overall, the fit is great for my soft, projected, but otherwise "normal" shape. There's lots of immediate depth/projection, which I think is perfect, but would likely not suit shallower shapes. I've read that many of Comexim's 3HC bands run small--while mine looks tiny un-stretched, there's plenty of give, and I found the 65 comfortable for my normal 28-30 band size. The only downside (besides me ordering the wrong cup size), is there's just a hint of itchiness, but I imagine a wash or two will take care of that.
Cute print and soft, satiny fabric, but I just couldn't get it to work. The wires were always sliding down my ribcage because my immediate projection pushed them down. When I pulled the bra up, not only would it not stay, but the cups gaped at the strap. Always happens to me with Comexim plunges, took me way too long to accept they were never going to fit.
This is the comfiest bra I've ever worn! Sadly it's a bit too small in the cups for me. The cups are made of thin foam padding and lined inside with soft cotton. The seams are pretty flat, so I don't think it would show under most clothes. The bra gives nice lift and a rounded appearance. I would love to buy it again one cup size bigger.
The biggest thing with this bra is size up in the band. This bra runs at least as tight or tighter than any 60 Comexim band. Combining this with soft Comexim wires the cups very easily end up extremely shallow.
Shape wise, I would say this would be ideal for and even shaped person with average to slightly shallow projection (if you are ok with a snug but not tight band). Although it works well enough for me and I'm FOB and slightly projection. Its not a perfect fit as I get slight collapsing in the bottom of the cups (which is almost every bra for me). However, it is a great nude on me and the plunge is low enough it works on most V neck tees I own.
Overall it is a beautiful and comfy bra that provides a nice shape. However, it doesn't draw the bust forward like most polish bras.
This is such a beautiful bra! I first tried it in 28F. The 30F works better for me. I had a tiny quad bomb in the 28 and the cups were very short. In the 30 I have tiny gaps when I lean over, but it doesn't bother me and the taller cups look better. I wanted a slightly larger band but the 30 is the same length as the 28 I got. I got these from breakoutbras and the size tag only says 30F, the item description said UK 30F, US 30G.
I've read a lot of reviews for Comexim bras, and many of them said the bands run right. So I sister sized up to a 65G (with lowered gore), and the band was too loose because it turns out running true to size. My shape is full on top and centre, tall and narrow roots, projected and SUPER close set. I find the plunge too closed on top / centre so I was getting quad boobs. It might also be a size issue, but the wires were fine. I'm also disappointed by the color. It does match the one they show on the website, but I've read reviews saying it's much prettier in person, and the pictures from users all have a more baby blue shade. However the one I got is greeeeeeen. The green I hate. So this bra is going away. For reference I wear a 28F in UK bras.
This is a beautiful bra that fits pretty well. I got it here off Bratabase and am happy with my purchase. It looks just like new. This bra is very lightly padded and while it is not overly soft, it is not rough or scratchy either. I think it is close enough to my skin colour to function like a nude bra. I have a bit of quadding on my larger side, but not severe. I don't think this is a perfect bra for my shape (short, narrow roots, FOB round, low breasts), but it works and looks pretty good. It is a nice, snug fit and I have zero top gaping, which I usually get with plunges. The cups are slightly smaller than Comexim Adore and Rita plunges in 28FF, which is interesting. Although it is a 30 band, it fits more like a 28 (yay!).
This bra is very comfy, the wires are soft. Band is TTS. The straps are a little bit too wide for my taste. Unfortunately it's too small on my bigger breast. I recognized a little bit of breast growth lately, maybe it fits better during non-hormonal days. Nonetheless a beautiful bra.
Beautiful quality as always from Comexim. Thought I had ordered the 3HC style from BraObsessed, but it turns out I ordered the PL instead. Although it's not my ideal size, the lack of fit was more of a shape issue - as I expected it unfortunately did not fit my FOB breasts which are much happier in 3HC styles. The lack of adequate projection for my breasts made the bra ride down on my ribs throughout the day. It's too bad because the black eyelash lace over the pale nude base would be a gorgeous addition to my collection.
I am really surprised that this bra works on me quite well. When I saw it i thoutght that the cups will be way too big but theyre great! It is used, so the 65 band feels good on me, the straps are little too wide, but nothing major actually. I got it for my work, as my uniform dress likes to share some color with lighter bras (my poor red cleo lucy). I love the thick and soft straps, band is also made of nice soft fabric. Wires are perfect with along with the cup depth.
I had this one previously as a 2hc and that was a diseaster for me - too loose band and too wide cups. I got this one from Bratabase user and I'm okay with it however is not perfect fit. The design is quite pretty, famous eye lash laces, lovely 'C' charm between cups, soft straps, not too wide set, overlapping gore and stretchy band. The band is just tiny bit too tight, I can wear it without extender, however it is more comfortable with 1 extra row. The wires are prefect but cups are too closed for me - they dont look like have any modifications - and never had this issues with my sister size in 70F, although is not that big issue, and I can keep it for now until I get someting new https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
