My shape: round to teardrop, asymmetrical, even top/bottom fullness, outer full, close set when supported, downward pointing nipples, slightly east/west,
This is the first of four Comexim bras that I've tried that actually comes close to fitting, and that I like enough to keep! I wasn't sure about it at first, but after wearing it for most of the day today, it's surprisingly comfortable, and I like the shape under a t-shirt. It gives me some lift, a round shape, and a bit of cleavage. but it's less in-your-face than an EM CHP. The materials are surprisingly nice for a comparatively lower price. It's just a simple ...nude 3-part halfcup, really, but it has cute bows at the gore and bottom of the straps and shiny edging at the top of the cups that I really like. The cup material feels like spacer foam. The seams on the inside of the cup are fairly pronounced, but I can't feel them when wearing it. The band is solid mesh and pretty stretchy.
I exchanged the 32F - Comexim » Basic Half Cup for this size after finding both the cup and band too small in that one. The fit isn't technically perfect - I get what I'd guess you'd call a "soft tack" with the gore (bottom tacks, top does not), the band could be a smidge tighter, and there's a bit of gaping on my smaller side - but I'm thinking this is the best fit I'm going to get from Comexim, after also trying the 75E - Comexim » Basic Plunge Bra (170) and not really liking it. Despite the minor fit issues, it's cute and comfortable enough that I cut the tags off. Read more 185 more words
Ok, now after seeing this size on you, I'd have to say that it does look better than the smaller size. Glad you found something you like and that fits you well.
So happy for you that this is comfortable - and definitely looks like a much better fit!
If you ever do end up placing a direct order; I think a 3HC with straps moved in and mayyybe cups lowered 1cm would be just perfect on you!!
bubblegum Thank you! I did end up ordering a modified 3HC - we'll see how it goes! :-)
I think she definitely needs her straps moved in, and I'm wondering if that could be a game changer, lol.
The blue on this bra is sooo much more vibrant and prettier than the photos online (I'll try to post photos soon). I love it! The band is very snug yet comfortable. The cups seem a bit lower than many of my other Comexims. I didn't request reduced cups so maybe it's just this way with the Mirage? My old Arizona feels this way too (Though I think my old Arizona might have a tiny bit more depth). Although they are a tiny bit lower the cups still fit me perfectly. There is no quadding and I don't feel like I'm going to fall out. The seams on ...this bra also don't show through clothing very much. I'm wearing a tight cotton/spandex dress at the moment and I can't see the seems at all (though there is a pattern on the dress which might be disguising the seems a bit too). This is going to be a great everyday bra for me! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
UPDATE - After wearing this bra 3 times I'm not sure that I love it. The band is much stretchier than my other Comexims and the cups are so low that my nipples threaten to pop out. I can't figure out whey this 75F fits me this way when all I've ever owned are Comexim bras in a 75F (and I've owned at least 10 different styles!). Debating keeping this bra or selling it. I may give it one more try and then see. Read more 144 more words
This is my first Comexim bra and I sister sized to a 75F(34:6) rather than an 70G(327) which is supposed to fit a 32F(UK). The measured bands seemed to run tight, and I'm glad I did. When I measured the stretched band it ran just under 32" before the wire started to bend as well. It's narrow enough and fits really well. The peach and pale grey color works well with my fair skin and I'm able to wear it under light/white shirts without the color showing through. The only thing is that there's a bit of space between my root and the top of the cup where ...the cup meets the strap, but it's so negligible and doesn't cause wrinkling or discomfort. This happens to me with most plunges since I have fairly short roots. For this reason, I wouldn't be able to wear it as a strapless. I think I might try a half cup from Comexim next time.
Edit: After wearing the bra a few times, I realized it doesn't offer as much projection as I need and the wires keep getting pushed out of my IMF. The height of the cup also bothers me after a while. I'll definitely try their half cups since I hear they have more projection and will work better with my short roots. Read more 113 more words
This bra is gorgeous to look at - very sexy and pinup/goth looking. However, the materials and fabric are rough and stiff and not comfortable at all. The lace also shows under clothing quite a bit. I no longer own this bra as the cups were slightly too small for me, but I don't think that I will reorder it in a larger size since even though it is super pretty, the cons out way the pros for me in this style.
I had initially bought the Sonia as a plunge. The plunge unfortunately was waay to shallow and my roots were too short for it, so got the half cup, which is supposed to have more projection. For reference I ideally wear a 32F. Pendulous, soft tissue, FoT, with short and narrow roots. This bra does indeed offer more projection than the plunge, however it's still not projected enough. It's not a bad fit but I probably would be better in a band size down and cup size up, 70G (I don't think Comexim used double letters). I don't get a good with the gore but I've heard that ...Comexim has soft wires and that's common. The band is stretchy I already wear it on the second or third hook. My only real issue is that the straps don't adjust as short as I ideally need, I'm short so that's a problem I'm used to. The straps are multiway so I could possibly get different straps that adjust as short as I need.
Overall a beautiful bra comfy bra, but I find the band stretchy and cups shallow. Read more 79 more words
This bra is gorgeous in person! It's insanely difficult to photograph but I tried to capture the colors the best I could. The Gina is a black bra with charcoal grey lace and orange/rust colored metallic flowers. It's super soft and really pretty. I love how the lace wraps around the entire bra and isn't just on the cups. It's a very unique black bra. Unfortunately my boobs got bigger since I placed my last Comexim order and the cups are a tad too small on me. I love the appearance and feel of this bra so much though that I'm going to re-order it in a cup size larger. Once I get the bra in my correct size I will write another review https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This is currently my favorite bra. It's pretty without being too feminine, and the construction is high quality. The band stretches in a way that it fits like a glove.
I wasn't sure what size to order, so I took a gamble on 75F. The cups are about 1/4 to 1/2 size too big, depending on the time of the month. I think sizing down would make them too small. I went with 75 instead of a 70 band because reviews said that black bands run small and the 75 measurements seemed closer to my size. The band fits perfectly; hopefully it won't stretch too quickly because I ...love it as is. It is the only bra I've worn that doesn't budge once it's in place.
The gore is super narrow, almost overlapping. And narrow cups, yay! Next time I order a Comexim plunge I may get reduced cup height as these are a little tall on me. They want more apex projection than I have. Combined with being a tad large in the cups, I get some gapping, but it's not a dealbreaker. The shape is lifted and centered (and I think it would be even better with a perfectly-fitting cup).
The chevron fabric covers the diagonal seam that's so pronounced on some Comexim plunges, so I think this makes it more discreet under clothing. Seams still show a little under tight tops. Read more 125 more words
This bra is beautiful but alas, the cup size is too small. It provides phenomenal lift and the band is like a thundershirt ( I personally like a bit of a tight fit). Unfortunately the lace patterning on the top of the cup may show under thinner shirts.
I knew that the band will be too loose on me, but I was reading reviews saying that the bra runs smaller and sizing up is a good option.. Not in my case, the bra is like 75F (I do wear 70F, so if I should take bigger cup the 75f would be sister size). The cups has a lot of gapping. However is such a cute Spring/summer bra. So I have to sell it unfortunately https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Queequeg0925 I've posted pic of our Joys so just to show you that they have already arrived to the UK https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
Yes it was a hearbreaker for me too in 55HH, I found it really too shallow for me but it was nice to see how a 26 fits on me, as I really it!
Id be fine with wider wires if the cup volume would be smaller : ( but nothing that I can do now : (
Thank you for the picture and again for all of your help! ^_^ I'm sorry that yours didn't work :( I sized up with my first one too and it didn't work for me either :(
no worries Queequeg0925 , im doing my best to help others!: )
yeah its a shame, but at the same time i know that I prefer short versions rather than longlines as im petite and it feels weird having it on almost half of torso..
Shameless plug that I have this bra listed for sale :)
This bra is so so pretty in person! The colors are just beautiful - I love the brown ribbon/straps, nude/tan lace, and pink/coral colored bows. Definitely one of Comexim's best designs in my opinion. The band is a tiny bit tighter than my other Comexims but it's not an issue (I'd say it's maybe .25" smaller). The hooks on this Comexim are 3 rows of 2 hooks. I wish it were 4 rows of 2 hooks like some of my other Comexims. This might be something that I start requesting when ordering from them. I know a lot of people have mentioned how the ribbon cuts in or ...closes off the top more. I actually did not find this to be true for me. It might "close" off the top a little (VERY little compared to my other Comexims), but it's barely noticeable for me. Most of my "sexy" bras are black so this is a nice little number to have in my lingerie drawer! (esp since it's SUPER comfortable too!)
UPDATE: Wearing this bra for the first time today - I've had it on for about 5 hours. It is SO comfortable! I thought the band was going to be too tight but it is perfect on the loosest hook! The only downfall about this style compared to my other Comexims is that the gore does not tack very well - there's approximately a 1/4 inch (maybe slightly less) gap between the gore and my skin. This isn't awful, but it's strange since it's the same exact size as all of my other Comexim bras. Also, the lift in the Irish Coffee isn't as great as some of my other Comexim bras. Still it's comfy and very cute. Read more 181 more words
I agree, Irish Coffee is possibly THE most gorgeous bra I've ever seen. I have one and every time I wear it I keep wanting to look down my shirt and stare at my bra lmfao. When I first discovered Comexim I knew immediately that IC and Poison Ivy were 2 bras I couldn't live without.
Hahaha! Yes, it totally is THAT pretty! … I think I'm definitely ordering the Geisha next. This one and the Geisha are the two Comexims that I've been drooling over since discovering the brand lol. (Of course if I had endless amounts of money I'd just buy all of the plunges that Comexim makes!)
I was debating whether or not to order this bra… fearing that it would be too yellowish instead of a true beige. I was delighted to discover that it's still a very warm hue for a nude bra. It's definitely lighter and not as "tan" as a lot of nudes are, but this actually works really well for my skin tone (I'm pretty much irish, welsh, … anything that makes one burn in sun and never actually tan lol). So this lighter shade is perfect for me! I love the little detailing around the edge of the wire. The bow on mine is not the checkered/gingham style bow ...that is shown in all of the photos. Mine is a simple nude bow. I'm fine with this though since what I really wanted was a basic nude Comexim bra (and I don't particularly love the satin material used on the basic bra). I will post pictures soon to show the bow that is on mine. This bra fits pretty much like all of my other Comexims - the band is about 25" long from hook to hook. And stretches enough that I do not need to wear it with an extender (unlike my Basic which measures 24" from hook to hook and has very little stretch). I think this is a great basic bra! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 122 more words
I hope you do post pictures! I've been considering this as an alternative basic bra to the, well, Basic, but I'd love to see more pictures of the real bra before I order, since there's only one bra with pictures up right now.
I'll definitely be posting pictures soon :) Probably sometime early next week.
This bra is so adorable - it's even cuter than the photos! The navy blue fabric along the top of the cups is very soft and almost silky (but not shiny!). The band is definitely a little looser than my other Comexims (I have the Irish Coffee, Arizona, and Stiff Cappuccino [which is an Anna Pardel for Comexim bra]). Even though the band is less tight than the others it still fits great and does not ride up at all - and I'm able to wear it on the last hook (this Comexim has 4 rows of 2 hooks). The straps do slide more easily than my Arizona ...bra, which is my only complain about this Comexim (though they do not fall off of my shoulders at all so it's not really an issue - I have VERY narrow shoulders too). The cups come up a little higher too which is really nice and works really well for me. I seriously LOVE Comexim and want to buy ALL of their bras lol. This one will definitely and easily become one of my new favorite bras to wear! Read more 79 more words
Cleavage! Oh my. I hardly ever have cleavage and this is exceptional (admittedly I suspect I could go up a cup size without gaping, but this does not have quadboob), this bra brings you up front and centre! And soooo comfortable. If it weren't padded I would wear it always, but it can get a bit too warm for padded bras 'round here (45C, anyone?). Not the most expensive looking bra, but well finished and not expensive.
I've had this bra for more than a year now, and it's still my go-to bra. It's like a treat every day I wear it.
It's beautiful, and a great nude shade for me. The lace is flat, so no worries about tight shirts over it. The 3HC cut is so comfortable for my narrowish boobs that need short cups and immediate depth.
The 34 band is much more comfortable than the 30 band, even though my ribcage is much smaller (27.5 comfortably tight). I'm having trouble with bras that have bands that are very short when unstretched. The cup is way too big. Weird, because my 30G cup is on the smaller side, and when I scoop and swoop is too small, but that may be because the wires are not wide enough. The gore of this bra is much better, so I guess this means I just need to start buying bras with wider cups. Curious how the US 34E would work for me, and if the wires would be wider than my 30G.
I've had this bra for several months, and it's a staple in my wardrobe. I ordered it with lowered cups, which is ok for my short roots and low-set breasts, but I find the regular height Comexim plunges more comfortable. It gives great lift for my soft tissue. It stays in my IMF and is comfy all day. I started with an extender, and I'm still on the first hook after several months. The color works as a nude for me and the seams don't show through too bad.
I was psyched to try out the Tropical Garden. My boobs have little upper fullness so I was interested in the shorter cups on this bra.
The band is tight (I'm using an extender) and the cups are a tad small for the size - if I press the gore down to a firm tack, I get the smallest amount of quadding. In other 75F Comexim plunges, I have more room in the cup.
There are some great parts and some frustrating parts of my Tropical Garden bra. The appearance is awesome - I have some cleavage! And my boobs look perfectly packaged and perky! It's super cute. The gore ...is really narrow, and the cups are almost too narrow for me. The immediate depth is good for my pendulous boobs. The band stays in place and supports my girls all day long.
What isn't so great, though, is the fabric. The mesh band scratches my skin. There's also scratchy fabric on the seams inside the cups, and on the wings. The bra doesn't feel as secure as my Basic or Chevron plunges, and definitely not as comfortable or well-constructed as my Anna Pardal plunge. There is a construction issue with the edge of the mesh - it sort of pokes through where it's sewn onto the edge of the band, and the fabric is cut jagged. I can just barely see it, but I think it makes the band itchier.
Overall, I like this bra fine and will wear it regularly - it fits me way better than most non-Polish bras - but it's not as high quality or as comfortable as I hoped. Read more 164 more words
This is a really nice bra! It looks so well-made. I like the plain black fabric and bows.
When I got it, the band was a little too tight but comfortable with an extender. The cups were too big - a little bigger than my other 75F Comexim plunges. This past week, though, I switched birth control and my boobs got much fuller. My other bras caused a lot of bubbling, but this one worked. I might change the meds so I'm expecting my boobs to change shape again, so I'll see if this still fits.
I had read that the Basic was more shallow than other Comexim plunges, but I didn't have a problem with that. It's a great shape for my breasts.
I just wore this swimming for the first time, and I'm super excited because I've never worn a bikini top to the pool before!! Tops I've seen in stores never, ever, ever fit or look flattering. My boobs don't fit in the cups, they flop down on my chest with zero support, the bands don't fit, and the ties hurt my neck. I assumed I just couldn't wear a bikini.
But the Bora Bora is awesome. It lifts and supports while looking sleek and sexy. Yayyy!!! I love the plain black fabric with gold metal. I can wear this with lots of different bottoms.
The 75 band fits ...me perfectly. It's snug and doesn't budge, and it didn't shift while I was swimming. The clasp in the back is pretty secure. The cups are the right width and fit better than most of my bras (still, they may be a hair too tall/deep at the top, but it's close enough for me!). I love the round shape and immediate depth of the 3HC. If I ordered it again, I might get an overlapping gore.
My breasts are pretty short so they're totally covered, but someone with taller roots may find that the tops of the cups cut in.
This suit has made my summer way more fun!! Yay Comexim bikinis!!! Read more 110 more words
i normally wear a 70F in comexim plunges. i have a 70G with reduced cups and straps moved in, and it also fits. since prior owner said this had lowered cups, i thought it COULD be a sister size. but... cups are too big for me. space at the top of the cup, right near the gore/center area. i will have to pass this one on, sadly...
Ok, now after seeing this size on you, I'd have to say that it does look better than the smaller size. Glad you found something you like and that fits you well.
