Yay finally received my Comexim and it’s fantastic. Another Comexim win! I ordered it directly from Comexim on April 3rd, they shipped it out on April 13th, and I received it on May 28th LOL. Looong wait could have something by to do with Canada post issues?
I looove this bra! It is beautiful, fits well, and is very comfortable. I wore it for a day while doing errands and other physical activities and nothing budged. I even forgot I was wearing it.
I ordered with straps moved in 1cm but no other alterations. The gore came overlapped, I’m guessing they do this with all orders now. The ...cups are wider and slightly more shallow than my other 3HC but still has decent immediate projection. The band is a bit too snug for me but I’m sure it will stretch a bit and it didn’t cause me any discomfort. The band is similar to the basic plunge but the front half is covered with eyelash lace. The cups are more firm than my other 3HC but still very light.
Holy super round shape! This bra brings everything centre and forward and uplifted for me. It gives me quite a bit of cleavage which is fine with me.
This cost 162 zloty which works out roughly to $53 Canadian. That includes all fees and shipping. Can’t go wrong with that price!
Overall I am very pleased with this bra and I need more Comexim 3HCs in my life haha Read more 141 more words
wow, looks great! I agree, the price is super reasonable for us Canadian gals, esp considering the other options that we have (Victoria's secret?), a.k.a., just matrix sizes.
wow, that's amazing, only one small alteration (move in straps 1 cm) and you got a perfect fit. Sweet!
Thanks BraOdyssey :) hey when did you place your order? Yeah I don’t think it’s comexims fault, probably something to do with the postal service. The last 3HC I asked for lowered cups but I really don’t need it (I’m not even sure if they did that alteration anyway lol) Good luck with yours!
okay, I think it is total "Canada Post" issue b.c.: my last order of Comexim bras from the states took a long time, it was stuck (clearing customs, I believe?) at the Toronto airport clearing point for like a week, so...not exactly Comexim's fault at all.
I imagine I will probably get it this week? I'm not sure. I'm further west than you. So, I imagine it takes a little longer to get to me. Mine was shipped Apr 14.
yeah, looks good. they have so many bras available in this style.
I don't know if you need to lower the cup at all, it looks good the way it is?
This looks great on you! I LOVE Comexim! They just work for me.... I love the rounded shape they give, and (for me) the illusion that I have more upper fullness than I do. And yeah,... you can't go wrong with their pricing!
plus, you can always get any bra made into this style, 3HC, even if it a padded plunge. non-returnable, but I wouldn't want to return to Poland anyways...
Wilderness1 thanks! Girl, this totally gives me the illusion of having upper fullness, which I really don’t have. It’s magic!
BraOdyssey yes I got the Dalia made as 3HC. It’s really cool that they’ll do this and for no extra cost :)
margesimpson , I finally got my package from comexim today! will just have to sign for it at the post office tonight or tomorrow! So, it took about 6 weeks, twice as long as before. I guess just due to Canada Post.
BraOdyssey yay so happy you got it! Literally one business day after I got mine. I hope it works out for you, fingers crossed
So this fits better than my Dalia 3HC. I compared them and they did do shortened cups with the Dalia, which is a bit too short for me.
margesimpson , interesting. I did read that it's hard to see sometimes if they did do the alterations, or not. so at least you know now...for next time!
I love this style, but I would have to have it made in a plunge...
margesimpson , ohhh, cool. yeah, I love the look of this bra, it's gorgeous.
I noticed it has tags, so it must've been sold years ago as a plunge for a US retailer, like Wellfitting perhaps (they're not in business anymore).
BraOdyssey I'm sure you can get comexim to make it though, just saying’ ;)
It looks amazing on you. This was my first ever Comexim bra. I have 7 now and it is still my favourite, and strangely the only one I did not need depth added in.
souxies thanks! That’s interesting it’s the only one where you didn’t need more depth. Dang, I was hoping comexim had another half cup that’s the same cut :/
margesimpson I tried the mimi and hera after this one and found both way too shallow. I have no idea why the beauty just fits? some people find theirs shallow? Perhaps variations in making? I am quite projected ( 6 inch difference in standing and leaning ) very close set, centre full and full on top. If shape makes a difference?
souxies it really does just fit! I’m FOB but also centre full and close set. Have you tried any comexim plunges?
margesimpson Yes, I have a Piume Notte. Its pretty much spot on fit wise with no alterations. I just have a tiny strap gap on my less top full breast. Its a stunning, solid and quality bra. I am 5’1 though and like scoop neck tops ect which is why I prefer the 3hc cut. Although, under a high neck the Piume is amazing.
Just to add, it creases a bit under my bigger breast but it washes out!
souxies oh nice. The Plume Notte is gorgeous! If I ever figure out the plunge size/alterations for myself I would definitely get that one
This is my most comfortable Comexim bra. I’m not sure why, perhaps the projection is just right for me? Along with the low gore perhaps? Whatever it is, I’m desperately trying to replicate it lol!
This bra is a typical Comexim plunge three part cup lined with a thin layer of foam. The band is a strong but stretchy enough beige material similar to the basic plunge, with a layer of black mesh. The cups are also beige with black mesh overlay and the crazy lace and ruffles at the top.
This bra absolutely shows up under all but the thickest tops. This was disappointing, especially because it fits me so well. But it is a very inexpensive bra so I don’t regret buying it.
Side note; I’m not fond of the light beige showing through either. I’m hoping that someday Comexim will start using fabrics for us darker skinned folks.
Ooh, I've been looking for a comfortable plunge bra! I may have to get this one. I usually wear a layering tank top under a shirt if the material shows through and I'm going to work. If it's not work related then I don't really mind my bra showing a little. Although the ruffled edges on the cups look like they might give a lumpy boob look under shirts and I don't want that lol I wonder if it's easy to remove that fabric or if it would mess up the lace.
WildWolff I didn’t even think of that! Great idea :) I’ll take a closer look and see if removing the ruffles is doable
Hmmm interesting! Does this fit like a true 34 band? I own this in a 55 band and it is definitely more like a “25 band.” I observe that when a bra is comfortable, it also looks great! This is certainly the case here 😃 it looks great on you!
thecurvypetite thank you :) I think It does fit like a true 34 band, maybe closer to 33 which I can tolerate since I have some “squish” lol.
I think Comexim band sizes run differently depending on the size range. I find the 75s are usually true to size but I’ve heard that smaller bands tend to be tight. Funny, I think it’s the opposite with Ewa Michalak bras, just to be more confusing haha
WildWolff so I took a close look at how it’s sewn at the top and I don’t think removing the ruffles is doable. It’s attached to the layer of lace and to the cups foam, with two different seams. I think it might ruin the bra if I tried lol, plus my sewing skills are rudimentary at best
margesimpson thanks for following up on that. Seems like it's a well made bra! I don't think my intermediate sewing skills could tackle it either. But the comfort and low gore interest me so I added it to my wishlist.
About me: FOB, pendulous, short roots, narrow shoulders, narrow to average width roots, centre full and close set.
This was partially an experiment, (excuse to get another Comexim LOL) I ordered this from Breakout Bras since I knew I could return it if it didn’t work out. I wanted to compare an unaltered 3HC with my 3HCs that have straps moved in 1cm. While I prefer the straps moved in, this actually still works for me.
This bra has similar material to the basic plunge with an added strip of gold satin at the edge of the cups. The edge of the cups do show through a thin or ...tight shirt. I’ll be honest, I’m not crazy about the colour, but it’s the closest to a “nude” and I wanted a basic 3HC. I’m hoping someday Comexim will have some other nudes, but the excellent comfort and fit make up for it!
The fit is spot on for me, even the band is TTS and stretched to 34”. 3x3 hooks in the back. The cups are slightly shorter than my Beauty, but it still works for me. This bra feels light and comfortable, as per usual for Comexims. Definitely a keeper.
If you’re new to Comexim sizing, here’s some interesting info (or boring info) I literally spent hours trying to figure out sizing from Comexim to Breakout bras lol. So, I’m usually a 34F UK, and found that in the 3HC 75HH Comexim size fits me well. Then I had to convert to BOB sizing, which is 34G. I’m so relieved I did the bra math correctly lol Read more 159 more words
"This was partially an experiment, (excuse to get another Comexim LOL) ..." Um, I hear you, girl...
that's why it's so fun to order so many...
the fabric looks so silky smooth! Congrats on the "bra win," as Happy2BraShop would say!
BraOdyssey thanks! Haha yes it is fun once you get some bra wins out of it! It is somewhat silky but not as much as the patterned ones
Looks like it's a winning week for comexim! I've had such nice luck with comexim this week and I have the same basic! Just in 55HH tho. Makes you look great! :)
Thanks MeeM_13 and congrats on finding a bra win too!
2nd Comexim for me, first half cup, and first with alterations. I think it’s a good one!
About me: I think I’m FOB, pendulous, projected, centre full, close set, narrow to average width roots, short roots.
I think this fits pretty well, much better than the plunge. I did order a size up from my plunge, made as 3HC with straps moved in 1cm and reduced cup height by 1cm. I think that the alterations were done, I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it fits as though they were done? Anyway, if the straps were wider set it definitely would not have worked for me. ...
Fit: this bra feels really nice so far! I wore it for a day and had no issues (crossing fingers). The band is stretchy and soft, it feels snug enough but it’s definitely stretchier than the basic plunge. Hopefully it doesn’t stretch out quickly. The straps are also quite stretchy but adjust short enough for me. Gore came overlapped (I think they do this without requesting now, correct me if I’m wrong), 4x3 sets of hooks, and it is a padded 3 part half cup. Definitely more projected than my basic plunger in 75H but short enough for my short roots. It gives me a nice rounded side profile and rounded shape under a shirt. I am premenstrual right now so I’m a bit bigger/swollen. Hoping it still fits when I’m back to usual size.
Appearance: this bra is made of a soft silky like material with very lightweight soft padded cups. The colour is a muted red with a faint navy blue abstract print and navy blue straps. It is quite beautiful.
Ordering experience: there was actually some confusion with the size and alterations but it ended up working out for me. I emailed Joanna with photos of the basic plunge on me and she had suggested staying with the 75H with straps moved in 2cm. I originally put in the order notes 75HH with straps moved in 1 cm and cup height reduced by 1cm. Then I put in the order notes what Joanna suggested to me. Thank goodness they went with my original request, there’s no way a 75H would have fit me. So it ended up working out for me in the end.
Bottoms: I did order the matching bikini style panties in large. It’s too snug and makes me look terribly fat lol. For reference my hip measurement is around 42” and I wear large in aerie underwear.
In summary, this works much better for me than the plunge cut. Actually this is my favourite bra currently!
Any feedback is welcome as I’m still very new to comexim! Read more 345 more words

How long did it take you to get your bra from Comexim in the mail? Time of order to ---> at your doorstep?
BraOdyssey it took about a month from order date to delivery (to Canada)
wow, that's good. I've heard two months, but maybe that was before Christmas, for their black Friday sale.
BraOdyssey my first order took over 2 months because they lost the order email! So this time around I emailed asking them to confirm that they received my order LOL
I'm new to Comexim too so can't really offer any feedback but I think the Dalia looks amazing on you! Such a pretty bra, glad it worked out x
sincerity thank you! Thank goodness it did, as I’m sick of ordering and returning bras lol
margesimpson , wow, the halfcup style seems to work well for you. From what I can tell, you seem to have more of a petite frame.
Their plunge seems to work okay with me - even though I have short roots - I surmise b/c I'm on the taller side (I'm 5'7 and a half). so, even though I have short roots, my boobs are still kind of long-ish where they're attached to my frame, and so it makes the plunge work okay on me.
We'll talk Comexim styles/sizes some other time!
I actually purchased my second E.M. bra today...a couple days after I said I wouldn't bra shop for 6 mos or something...It's just that I needed a dark bra in my new proper size (b/c all the rest are white or nude). Ha ha.
BraOdyssey thank you! It does magically work for me, it’s super comfortable and I like how it looks under a shirt. I’m actually not that petite I’m 5’6” but I think my shoulders are narrow. Anyway, the plunge was too narrow for me yet too open on top.
Ohhh another EM? looking forward to your review so we can discuss haha I’m trying to hold back on buying another as I have enough bras right now....but I’m itching to try a different EM cut lol
Second try at the Comexim plunge for me. Feedback welcome!
I’m torn about the fit. There is some gapping at the top of the cups and it’s loose in the upper cup. I had to tighten the straps more than I like to help eliminate the gaps. Everything else fits well. Band is TTS, gore is fine, bottom and width of cups are good. Having the straps moved in 2 cm definitely helped, although the straps on the plunge are much wider set than my 3HCs. I like the shape the bra gives.
I know that technically I “should” fit into 75H, since I wear 75HH in the 3HC, ...however when I tried this previously the cups cut in at the sides and felt like there wasn’t enough projection at the wire.
I really like this bra. It feels comfy and I love the look. It’s a soft silky material. The pattern is a faux dark grey lace overlaying a medium nude colour (not actual lace). Straps are the same nude colour.
I’m not sure what to do with this bra. Do I keep it and ignore the fit issue? Keep it for period days? Sell it? Give up on the comexim plunge style? I think if I were to seek the perfect fit with this I would need the cups reduced 2 cm. Or maybe I should just stick with the 3HC LOL. Read more 125 more words
Pretty, and looks good overall! But yes for me, I do need a larger size in 3HC than in plunges. So 75H might make sense? Maybe with added projection at the wire? I've been contemplating that myself..
Reducing cup height and maybe moving the straps inwards a bit further on a 75HH could work too!
cups reduced, straps moved in, gore reduced, too?? that's what this blogger did. Not saying that's the right choices, but maybe worth a try? https://brogwithadog.wordpress.com/2015/07/07/comexim-vivien-60hh/#more-211 How does the gore feel, or do you think it's fine? I wonder if doing all of those alterations would alter the cup volume too much though.
margesimpson , lol, you and I have similar "wish lists" for comexim styles, I think. I was wondering how this one looks in person, I love the back! It looks so secure with 3 x 4, sweet!
margesimpson , yeah, maybe doing what bubblegum's suggestions make sense, too. maybe do all of my suggestions would make you quad out of 75HH? Idk...
bubblegum thanks! Yeah maybe the 75HH with reduced cups. Do they move in straps more then 2cm? The 75H felt too narrow for me unfortunately.
I suppose: it's always hard to be 100% sure what gets done exactly, but I've definitely asked for straps moved in 3 cm. before!
unless they have changed things, but you could always ask?
BraOdyssey the gore feels good and tacks so I wouldn’t want to change it. But I’m a bit concerned that if I reduced cups it may change the gore as sherrach898 pointed out with her new altered basic plunge. I’m so confused lol I think my roots are just too short for the plunge...but dang I really wanted it to work.
bubblegumBraOdyssey thank you, good to know I could get straps moved in 3cm! I guess I was thinking there was a limit LOL
BraOdyssey haha yes I really do like this colour/pattern! Funny you were eyeing this one too. The 4x3 hooks are on most of my Comexims, I love that.
I wonder with all of the alterations if it would make it too small idk..maybe just the straps moved in and reduced cups would work and stick with 75HH...
Maybe your next Breakout bras order you could try something like Comexim Jasmine, or Andromeda in 75H - which is different fabric from the Comexim basic plunge. Just to see if the fit is better in different fabric?
BraOdyssey thanks for the suggestion. I could try that. How are they with returns? I’m already returning another bra to them LOL
margesimpson , I had to return 3 bras to them, in a box, and it was kind of expensive. I'm not sure if we can use Paypal on their site (paypal returns) because $21 to have it tracked, but that was for 3 bras.
that was in the beginning of my "bra odyssey" so I didn't order with paypal, because I didn't know about the paypal returns program.
Breakoutbras was super easy to deal with for returns though.
I sent my bras back (2 Comexims and the Sugar Candy bra I tried on) and it took almost a month b/c it was during Covid, and they were fine with it.
So, you have to just pay return shipping, which is like $4 in the US, but much more in Canada, depending on how many bras you order, weight of package/size of package of course.
BraOdyssey good to know they’re good with returns. I’m already signed up for PayPal return shipping costs :)
I was just reading this bra blog that bubblegum posted in one of her responses and I saw this lady had her straps moved in 4 cm!! Perhaps it depends on the size though? Her bra size is 70P so considerably larger cups https://bratoday.wordpress.com/2016/05/08/comexim-the-longline/
4cm!!! Wow I’m pretty sure they did move in the straps on this one as I requested, it definitely helped the fit. I should’ve asked for reduced cups though. I just wish I didn’t need multiple alterations LOL
I have the 70L - Comexim » Onyks Non-padded Half Cup Underwire Bra (CMONYK from Breakout Bras in 32HH (BoB’s sizing) because the band runs stretchy. I noticed that around my period, the cup on that one is just a tiiiiiiiiny bit small on my larger side. So when I ordered this padded Comexim Elise 3HC from Breakout Bras, I decided to bump it up one cup but in my normal band size, so I got a 34HH. (Note that this is NOT a 34HH if ordering directly from Comexim; it is BoB’s sizing.) The band is true to size on this one, decently stretchy but ...not so stretchy that you’d want to size up.
The Onyks is a little more forgiving of shape differences and changes than this Elise, since the Elise is padded. The Elise does fit my larger side decently when my breasts are larger around my period. On the smaller breast, or for both when my breasts are smaller, the bra is a little gappy at the top. It’s not really noticeable under a shirt and can be smoothed out with a thin tank top so while it isn’t perfect, this bra is still a good one to have in my collection.
If you don’t have much top fullness, then I would advise going up 2 sizes for your Comexim size in this one and not 3 like I did. (I have some fullness on top when supported.) The straps are pretty wide set, as Comexim straps tend to be. If ordering this one directly from Comexim, I think I’d order the same size but request to have the straps moved in 2 cm and possibly have the gore shortened, or maybe just have them overlap the wires? There is room for the gore to tack if I push it with my finger, but I think it floats just a little because Comexim doesn’t use super firm wires. The cups have plenty of room and good room for projection at the wire so it isn’t breast tissue pushing the gore forward. Overall, the bra is comfortable and flatters my breast, despite the few fit issues. It’s padded but not molded or stiff.
The color is very pretty in person. If you’re fair-skinned with pinkish undertones, it will work as a neutral. If you are darker, then it’s just a nice, soft pink and tan. The seams may be visible if you’re wearing a thin or very fitted top. The seams are less obvious if I’m wearing a looser or patterned top. (The same is generally true of the gapping I have at the top of the bra.) I haven’t had this bra very long so I think the seams may be less noticeable after a few more wears and washes, too.
I’d say if you generally like Comexim 3HC bras, this runs very similarly to their other 3HCs so you should be fine if ordering your usual Comexim size (and usual Comexim alterations, if you typically ask for changes to the straps or gore). Read more 401 more words
Looks great! I never have figured out my Comexim sizing, and I feel like BoB led me astray with their suggestion for sizing up because of how big the bee 3HC fit me. (Probably also a shape issue, but I digress...)
Unfortunately, Comexim sizing is somewhat inconsistent, pretty_promise. You can have a look at the bras I’ve measured and see that I’ve tried multiple Comexim sizes. I think after much trial and error, I think my best fit is going to be 3HC ordered directly from Comexim in 75K with the straps moved in 2 cm and the gore height specified at about 7.5 cm. I’ve tried 5 different bras to figure that out (thanks to sales and reselling the one that really didn’t work). I wish they had firmer wires like Ewa Michalak, but they’re cute and affordable and customizable so that’s the trade-off, I guess!
About me: FOB, short roots, pendulous, soft tissue, narrowish to average width roots, narrow shoulders, centre full, and close set.
This bra is beautiful! My photos don’t do it justice. It’s a lovely pastel pattern with some grey details. The straps and band are grey. The tops of the cups are edged with a thin strip of pink shiny material that’s a nice subtle detail. It is a 3 part half cup and the seams are a bit more prominent than the other 3HCs I’ve tried. So this would not work well for light coloured thin tops. This doesn’t bother me though.
The material is quite soft and ...silky and the band is TTS, not as firm as some other Comexims I’ve tried. (I measured it 33” bit I think it stretches to 34” I just didn’t want to distort the wires). I had the straps moved in 1 inch as I’ve done with others, and it works well for my narrow sloping shoulders.
The fit works well for me and it’s super comfy, as per usual for Comexim 3HCs. I’m addicted! Read more 74 more words
BraOdyssey it is so soft! Forgot to mention it took 3 weeks to ship this time, faster than the last time
Wow! This is one of those bras that I wouldn't have given a second glance on the website but your photos made me want it. The detail looks much better and I love the color and that added pink detail on the edge is so pretty. These are better than the stock photos. And it looks comfortable!
WildWolff thanks! It took me a few tries to get photos that capture the colours LOL. I actually wouldn’t have considered this type of pattern normally, but since it’s one of the standard 3HCs that I love I thought why not
Looks fabulous on you! Love the color! I’m a sucker for grey on a bra. Especially the straps.
FINALLY, I found a really well-fitting Comexim! I've tried a few different plunge styles, which fit me way better than most other bras, but I've always had a little bit of front spillage that made them not as comfortable. I noticed that Comexim had a few different full coverage style soft cup bras, so I finally gave one a chance, and I am glad I did! Firstly, I had a few alterations requested, though I have no idea if they were actually done. (I wish there was a note or something that came with the bras stating what customizations were completed. Ah, well.) I asked for straps narrowed 4 ...cm, gore raised to 3.5, and the cup reduced. I don't think the gore was actually raised, because when I measured it, it came to slightly above 3 cm. Luckily, it works and I don't have any front spillage. I'm pretty sure the straps were narrowed, because I've had issues before if I don't request that. I usually order a 80 cm band, but from the few reviews on this bra I've read, I saw it was really stretchy, so I went with a 75. I'm glad I did, because it fits really well. The top of the cup has a decorative, lacy edge, and has a thin strip of elastic across the edge of it that keeps the bra in place. I also like the stretchier, softer straps on this style as opposed to the stiffer ones the plunge styles have; I find those are just itchy enough to make me less than ideally comfortable. There's no padding, so I have to be careful in these colder weather months. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Overall, I am really pleased with the Emily. I ordered another one, along with an Eve, so once those come in the mail, I'll review those. Let's hope they fit as well as this one! Read more 210 more words
This is my Joker bra! The print is unique, and the colors are extremely vibrant in person. I ordered this with straps moved in 2cm and cups reduced 1cm, which is my standard now with Comexim orders.
I consider my Comexim size these days to be 80HH, but I've found the bras modeled after this one (also like 75J - Comexim » Tropical Garden (191) , 75J - Comexim » Free Time (270) , and bras of that ilk) run large in the band and cup, so I ordered in a 75HH. It fits similarly to my recent 80HH bras, which means it fits my current UK 34G/36FF chest well, so take that for what it's worth.
Like I said, the colors are more vibrant in person, and the fabric, esp the band, is silky soft. Another win from Comexim.
Wow! The colors on that are incredibly different than on the website! I had no idea that is was purple. It looks blue on the site to me. Thank you so much for all of the detail pictures! Comexim's product photos leave a lot to be desired sometimes.
Thanks for the UK sizing note! I'm still trying to figure out my Comexim size after getting two bras from them. I wear a 34H UK usually, or a 34HH in some designs. I'm pondering whether to get an 80J (which would definitely be a little small in the cups) or try to special-order an 80K next from Comexim, and risk having it be a bit too big.
Oh my! I have to have to have to get this now! Purple and green are my favorite colors! I really thought it was blue on the website! Thanks for sharing about it running large! I really need a 60O but in that size the bra is just so overpowering for my short torso :/ maybe I can get away with a 60N in this one! Thank you thank you thank you! :D
PetiteCollegiate , you're welcome! And I agree colors can definitely appear different in person than online--esp blue/purple/pink color ways.
larabloom , I really recommend you reach out to Jaimie from braobsessed! She'll def help you nail down a size, and can even order a couple sizes for you to try. :D
gogobee , then this is a must have for you! Liliu is unmistakenly green and purple in person. I'd say it runs large compared to regular plunge models, so hopefully she'll work for you!
I totally agree with you that the Free Time clones run big. My 60HH Free Time is the biggest 60HH I own and also very stretchy in the band. It's kind of a bummer because IMO it's the most immediately and center projected Comexim plunge I have too.
It's purple and green???? Brb, ordering this bra...
About me: FOB, pendulous, centre full, short roots.
I’m loving this bra! I got it as part of Comexim’s Valentine’s sale. I may be obsessed with Comexim bras lol.
So I’ve had to go up a size in Comexim probably due to hormonal changes related to age, as my weight hasn’t really changed. I’m glad I did, it’s much more comfortable and I’m no longer quadding. I only got one alteration, straps moved in 1cm because I have found that too many alterations can really change the fit and not in a good way, and sometimes not all alterations get done. I’ve also figured out that 2cm is ...too much for me even though I have sloping narrow shoulders because I need support and containment for my soft side boob tissue.
This is a typical Comexim padded plunge bra, which has a thin layer of padding and 3 part cup. This has 3x4 hooks and the fabric is silky and soft with a slight sheen to it. The pattern is red with white and pink paisley type designs.
The cups are a bit too tall for me, but I have found that Comexims tend to soften with wear and wash and mould somewhat to my shape. Hence the pointy shape in the pics, which I know will soften over time. The bit of space near the straps/top of cups doesn’t really bother me, and the rest of the bra fits very well. Super comfy and supportive.
Overall, good fit, pretty, and usual Comexim comfort! Read more 146 more words
About me: FOB, a lot of immediate projection. Centre full, close set when supported, short roots, narrow to average width roots, pendulous, and probably some other traits I’m forgetting that also make bra finding difficult lol.
So there aren’t many Rozalias on here, but this one definitely runs shallow. I’m not sure if it’s just in my size range, in general, or this particular one? I did get straps moved in 2cm and cup height reduced 2cm. What’s weird is this one measures similarly to another comexim plunge I have in the size down with no alterations. I don’t know if this means anything…
Anyway, it’s a lovely ...colour and pattern and I was sad that it didn’t fit. It may look like it fits well but the wires do not stay in my IMF, they are at least an inch away or slide down. The gore doesn’t tack and tilts to one side. It’s somewhat uncomfortable near the bottom too. And holy boobarama right? I mean, most cups are way too tall for me so I guess the shallowness made this too short too?
I wish I could try these on in person before getting alterations because it’s really a gamble. Oh well, I still love Comexim and will get more lol. Read more 105 more words
This bra is very similar in fit as my EM CHP Marcepanowa in 75F, which is great, because both are a near perfect fit and pretty much my new favourite bras! The only thing at the moment is that the cups are ever so slightly small, which causes my boobs to bubble over a little when I move around a lot (say run for the bus or something). But that's mostly due to the fact that I've recently gained some hormonal weight, which should go back down soon.
I compared the bra directly to my CHP, and the wires and cups seem pretty much the same, width, height and ...depth wise. The band on the Ewa is a lot looser, while the cups of the Comexim half cup come up just a third of an inch or so higher than those of the CHP. I actually prefer the cup height of the Comexim, as my boobs feel slightly more securely packaged, and bounce a little less when I walk (I love Ewa, but her padded bras make my boobs bounce somehow).
The profile I get in this Comexim is great; very round, uplifted, slightly minimised, and within my frame. It definitely gives cakes on a plate style cleavage, while (mysteriously) also pushing my boobs closer towards each other. I therefore get much more cleavage than I got with Comexim plunges (imperfect match for me), and Ewa plunges (very good match for my shape). The cups have a lot of bottom projection, but not too much over all projection.
The bra itself is beautiful (as it should be with that name), very classy black lace over a smooth pinky beige fabric. The lace is very flat, and does not show too much through thin fabrics. The foam Comexim uses feels a little cheaper and more squeaky than Ewa's foam though. The straps of this bra are a little stretchy and quite thin, but it's not proved a problem while wearing it. The band feels very nice and tight, and I appreciate that it as 3 hooks, as opposed to the 2 hooks I get on my Ewa.
Over all, I slightly prefer the look and feel of my Ewa, but in terms of comfort and cup height the Comexim has an edge.
I also tried the other half cup version by Comexim (the 1 seam, 2 part one), but unfortunately I ordered it in the wrong size. However, I already could tell that it runs a little smaller, and, most importantly, is shallower in the bottom at the cup than the 3HC version. I may try the 2HC again, but probably go up a cup size compared to the 3HC.
I currently have a custom order out for a 3HC Poison Ivy in 75J, to see whether a bigger size will solve my slight overflow problem, and so that I have a half cup for my bigger boob days on hand. Let's see how that fits!
PS: I just noticed that the lace pattern is very different from the stock pictures! I much prefer my version https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
This is my first purchase through Bratabase (yay) and my first Polish bra. I'm waiting for an order from Comexim and an Anna Pardal via Sophisticated Pair.
The bra is gorgeous and unusual - gray-silver-taupe lace over a subtle peach base that is almost a nude for me. It gives a beautiful boobs-forward, cakes on a plate effect. It is a plunging style, but not as low as, for example, Freya Deco. This band is quite soft (and comfortable) and thus not especially supportive for the long haul. Were I to buy new, I would size down (I typically wear 32G in most bras, more like 30GG in Freya). Finally, the bra + band, for me, is not 'motion reducing'. There is a considerable bounce, which I am certain will be entertaining to onlookers, but it makes the bra not work-friendly for me. Maybe save for shorter evenings out and times when I know I will be sashaying and strolling and not moving quickly!
I think bras with less coverage on top or stretchy coverage on top seem to bounce more, but i'm not quite sure yet
Well, a 75HH Comexim translates to roughly a 34G UK, but Comexim cups are scaled up 2 cm per cup rather than UK's 1". So, you're in a band and probably 1/2-3/4 cup size larger than typical. So, I can understand why it bounces, the whole thing is probably a little loose. But agreed, Sonia is a gorgeous bra.
lcl0706, thanks for the sizing translation. This is my first Comexim, and Erica at Sophisticated Pair helped me (via email) try to guess at my best size. But I am definitely in that Polish bras + guesswork + hope = eventually ending up in the right bra and size stage of things! Also, my go-to bra for the past 5 years has been the Fantasie 4510 molded tee shirt bra. Nothing moves in that bra, and I know I am unused to other styles and feelings!
If you retry Comexim, I'd say stay in a 32 band, so a 70 band, and try a HH which would be one cup volume down. You'd probably have better luck in a 70HH/32G, and if that feels a bit small due to the whole 2cm vs 1" cup scaling, you can try the band down but retain the cup volume by trying a 70J/32GG.
Thanks! I am 98% certain that's what we ended up with for the Anna Pardal bra I'm waiting for. And with Comexim I have two 70G and a 70HH...hmmm (why did I do -that-!?).

Bra fitting is evidently a science. No wonder it has been a roll of the dice for me.
About me: short roots, FOB, centre full, close set, pendulous. Somewhat soft tissue.
First off, my photos do not do this bra justice. It’s really pretty in person and is very supportive!
This bra is unlined 3 part balcony/plunge style, it’s a cream colour, sheer, bottom half of cup is double mesh strong tulle and top half of cup is lace and tulle, also strong with little to no stretch. It has a low and narrow gore and 3x3 hooks. There is a bow in the centre with a crystal bead (I’ll probably take the bead off, it’s kinda cheap looking). The lace has a slight shimmer in parts.
This ...bra fits me almost perfectly. It is true to size in cup and band. I have strap gap, but I almost always do and it doesn’t bother me. Otherwise the cups fit me so well. It is very supportive and gives a nice shape under clothes, somewhat rounded but natural and supported. I thought the lack of stretch in the cups would be a problem for me, but thankfully the cups fit me so well. Actually I think the the lack of stretch helps support my heavy soft boobs!
This bra was custom made for my size, as it only went up to 75H on their website. Compared to my other unlined Comexim, this one has firmer wires. I’m not sure if they chose that because of the custom size, but it does help with support. The straps are longer than my other comexims so I had to tighten them a bit more.
Overall, I am so impressed and will probably get some more unlined Comexims in the future. Read more 169 more words
I'm so glad you tried an unlined Comexim! It looks great. I re-ordered this one in a better size because I love the design. I think it will be perfect for summer. It looks much more supportive as a balcony bra, although the gore is pretty short compared to the padded plunges. I have to order the gore lowered and the top lace section fits and looks a little odd at an angle. I agree that the firmer mesh and two layers help with soft tissue. I didn't think it was possible to get a round shape with a mesh bra until I tried the Polish options.
Thanks WildWolff , your review inspired me :) I have another unlined Comexim 3HC but the size is too small, so this is my first unlined balcony/plunge style. Right now I’m finding Ewa Michalak bras don’t fit me well or are uncomfortable, so I was very happy this one worked!
margesimpson I went through a similar experience when I went from 30FF to 30G a few months back. At 65FF Ewa Michalak fit well and was comfortable. I didn't realize I needed such a low gore until I went up a cup size. At 65G the fit felt totally different in the exact same bras! I was stuck in PLs everyday which is okay, but sometimes I want unlined and more comfort. I'm glad Comexim is affordable and I can get alterations. Comfort is important!
WildWolff yeah I went up a cup size too and I’m finding Ewas gores to be painful. Im also unsure of my proper size in Ewas. The only ones I’m considering are the PLM and the Sm Czarna Mgiełka but honestly, I’m really preferring Comexims for now. Yay comfort!
Quick review to prepare for the upcoming Comexim sale https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Edit: this is an unlined 3HC, it’s black and burgundy with white detailing on the lace.
Overall I love this bra! I think I’ve gone up a size unfortunately, as my other comexim 3HCs are too small too, so this one is too small for me. I’d say the cup size is true to size. The band is quite stretchy, I could have gone with a size smaller in the band so I’d recommend sizing down in the band. It fits like my other 3HCs cup wise.
Even though the cups are ...technically too small for me, this bra is still comfortable! I totally still wear it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The cups are a slightly stretchy mesh/tulle material covered with a beautiful lace. It truly is gorgeous in person. The band is solid stretchy black mesh type material and there are 3x3 hooks in the back. The wires are soft, like other comexims. For me, the gore shifts around, tilting to one side or the other, but I think that’s due to it being too small rather than the soft wires.
I didn’t request any alterations as I was under the impression that they don’t do alterations with unlined bras? Not sure. But I don’t think I really need alterations except maybe straps moved in 1-2cm.
Apologies for lack of photos and the late review, I will add more soon… Read more 142 more words
I really like this, is this dark grey and purple? It looks almost black, but I'm not sure. Add one more thing to my wish list. I saw the pictures before on your list of bras, and it doesn't look terrible, I've only recently discovered their unpadded 3HCs, which I think give a lot of lift (surprisingly)
BraOdyssey its black and burgundy with the white detailing. I felt like my side shots just weren’t working lol I’ll try again and post again. And yes, I feel you with the growing wish list haha
I added some side view photos, hope they are helpful.
I think this looks pretty good on you! Maybe *a little high* under the arm (like close to being a "underarm eater" bra & causing chaffing) but other than that, it seems to give a good uplift and shape. I'm really not an expert (haha) in unpadded 3HCs, cause I only own the two. I ended up not ordering Rubin : ( for the 20% off sale, oh well, maybe next time.
BraOdyssey thanks! The sides actually don’t bother me at all and are comparable to my other ones. But the cups are a bit too small so maybe that’s why it looks that way? The gore doesn’t tack well and I have quad boob on the larger side. But it’s still super comfortable lol
Where my other bras-that-fit are either cute or okay looking, this is the first bra I've bought because I loved the look. And let me tell you, it doesn't dissapoint in real life! I just love the vintagy color and feel of the floral print.
Shape wise there is some gravity defying sh*t going on right here. This bra provides TONS of lift, and almost manages to give me cleavage, which is impressive with my super wide set boobs. My husband says it's the perkiest he's ever seen the girls.
The 75 band is tighter than any UK 32s I own, and ...I'll probably wear it with an extender for a while. The HH cup is just right for me, so I guess this 75HH is comparable to a UK 32FF or G. I ordered a 70HH as well, but that one is way to tight in both the band and cups, so I'll list it.
I actually find this bra less centering than my Cleos, which is surprising given Comexim's reputation, but it certainly beats my Cleos in the lift departement.
I have 2 minor issues still. 1: the top of the cups is just a tad closed for me. 2. the padding right above the horizontal seam is a bit thicker than the seam itself, which gives a slight quad boob illusion under tight tops. I'm going to try to flatten the padding a bit to make this less noticable.
However, I love the bra too much to return it over these issues! Read more 148 more words
That looks really great on you! I love Ingrid, I hope they keep making it because I want to have one always.
About your issue #2. Mine is the same way, ALL of my Comexims are like that. I don't really let it bother me much, but if you're able to flatten it a bit please follow-up on how!
Will do! I'll make an alteration update if I manage to fix it. I'm going gently steam press it I think...
This looks fabulous on you. And definitely confirms you are narrow rooted and projected. Ingrid is a unique bra indeed. Congrats!
Such a pretty bra! Issue #2 that you listed is actually one of the reasons I'm selling my Comexim. It makes it look like I'm half hanging out of the bra. Argh. I wish they'd fix that!
lcl0706 you are so right! When I started this bra quest I thought I was shallow & wide rooted, turns out I was completely wrong there ;-).
@_veritas I am pretty sure this issue should be fixable, will let you know if I get it dobe.
@bonjourhi they have a little american flag on their site, upper right corner. Click it and the english version of the site appears! This modrl is supposed to be a plunge, but I agree the cups are too tall to really get that cleavage going, for me and my short boobs at least, I've seen others get spectacular cleavage in Comexim plunges. I guess it depends on your shape.
Charlotteke I did the exact same thing and it took me a while and some wonderful assistance from this community to get it figured out. Yay for being able to wear Comexim - they're the best I've found yet for our shape :)
lcl0706 It's not yet perfect, but very close. I may want to address the closed on top issue in the future, perhaps there is an alteration that fixes that, but I'm not sure yet which one.
I also have 2 Ewa plunges on the way as well, very interested to see how those work out.
This was my, "Hmm, maybe Comexim can make me a black unpadded full cup bra" on-a-whim purchase. I never actually know if they read the notes when I place an order on their website, but so far, they haven't done me wrong. Much to my surprise, they actually came through and made me a custom black Eve bra, just like I requested! (I was half-expecting it to be another white bra, which would have been fine.) So, the pros: the fit is lovely and supportive, and the design on the top of the cup, while slightly different from the regular white Eve, is nicely understated. The band fits a ...bit tighter than the white version; what it is about black bras that make them fit tighter? Something in the dye? The cons: the straps, URGH! I love the stretchy, comfy straps on my white Eves and Emilys, but this black one came with the same type they use for their plunge styles. They feel itchy and uncomfortable to me. They must not have the stretchy style straps in black, which it disappointing. Overall, I'm very pleased with my black Eve, except for the straps. So if you decide to order one from Comexim and hate their regular straps like I do, just be prepared. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I'd be curious if they would make other colors too. Might be worth looking into! Read more 126 more words
I loved the white Eve straps, too! I will avoid the itchy black ones, too. High temperatures are required for black dyes, and the fabric shrinks in reaction to the temperature.
Ohh, I had no idea! Thanks for the info! Good to know for future ordering of black bras, hahah!
It is helpful...especially if you need smaller bands. The black bra bands are often shorter :-)
I had no idea that they would do that! How fantastic is that?! And it came out so beautiful. I'm still waiting for the regular white Eva that I ordered, and now I'm fantasizing about other options. Thanks so much for sharing this.
I initially tried a Comexim half-cup (75K - Comexim » Roma ) in 2 cup sizes larger than this (which is one size up from my standard Comexim size of 75J), and it was WAY too big. I figured I'd give the HH cup a try, since it's readily available on their site, and I knew I would sell it easy on here if it didn't work. I'm happy to say this is a much better fit.
This is a 'not quite, but close' fitting bra. The band is a standard Comexim 75. But the cups are about a half to a full cup size small on ...me, so I do quad slightly in it, especially when my breasts have settled into the cup after wearing it a few hours. However, despite this, I don't get significant quadding, because the cups are crazy amounts of open on top. I've tried Comexim plunges with reduced cups, and the fit on this half-cup reminds me of the way the modified plunge did on me. Much of my tissue is exposed, as the cups are only slightly taller than the gore. This isn't a bra I would do any amount of heavy lifting in. The shape it provides is still high and round, like my beloved plunges. One thing to note: the cup material doesn't lay flush on my chest, so I would not wear this with a thin shirt. I pretty much always wear a tank or camisole underneath anything I wear, so that extra thin layer is enough to hold down the materials and provide a smooth look. Without that, though, the tops of the cups would surely show through shirts.
Aesthetically, like most Comexim bras, it's absolutely gorgeous in person. The bright blue and aqua green really stand out against the black. The green stands out much more in person. I just wish it fit as well as their plunges on me! Read more 216 more words
I ordered this from Breakout Bras. Their sizing method lists it as a 34G. I tried a few bras in the same size and style of the plunge cut and this one was the only that fit. I found the band to run a little smaller than the others and the cups had more immediate projection along the wire.
I bought this bra NWOT on r/braswap. I knew the last Comexim bra was at least 2 cup sizss too small, so I sized up 3 cup sizes with this bra. I heard the Basic ran tight in the band, so I sized up in the band too. Unfortunately, I think I sized up too much in both regards. I am a 30 band in US/UK sizing, but the 70 band fit pretty well, second hook, on the Ardea. Since Basic ran tight I figured this should be fine. I can easily tighten this bra on the tightest hook and it's still not super firm. I think a ...70 band would have been fine in this style too.
With the cups, the Ardea I got had the cups reduced and I should have taken that more into consideration when sizing up in the cups. I think 1-2 sizes up in regular cups would have been fine, though had I gotten another style with reduced cups I probably still would have needed to size up 2-3 cups. The reason I think this is because I fill the bottom of the cups PERFECTLY and the wires are excellent. Unfortunately, the apex of the cup is kind of empty. Had the cups been reduced by 1" I actually think it would have fit quite nicely. Alas, they weren't so this is simply about 1 cup size too large for me.
The gore is still slightly too narrow for me in this style, which is to be expected with me being wideset. However, it's not as noticeable since the cups aren't too small like my other Comexim.
I'm debating if I want to keep this or not. When I first tried it on, I was convinced I'd resell it, but after wearing it for 10 minutes, doing a full scoop and swoop and tightening the straps I think it might be doable for now. I tried a shirt on that normally shows seams and lace and it actually looks really smooth underneath and it looks really good. I'm torn. What do ya'll think? Read more 240 more words
wow, looks great! I agree, the price is super reasonable for us Canadian gals, esp considering the other options that we have (Victoria's secret?), a.k.a., just matrix sizes.
someone just reviewed her comexim order on reddit and she said she got her bras in like 3 weeks in rural NE, U.S.A. https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/nnzuz0/first_comexim_order_review_four_styles_75f_long/ Meanwhile, me - in Western Canada - still waiting, lol. Not Comexim's fault though, so I don't blame them.
wow, that's amazing, only one small alteration (move in straps 1 cm) and you got a perfect fit. Sweet!
