I got this bra as part of a three bra package from martka00, along with the 80E - Comexim » Geisha (202) and 80E - Comexim » Audrey (190). Like the Audrey, this bra is *so* comfortable, I don't want to take it off and have actually forgotten to do so before falling asleep! Shame on me, because this is *definitely* leading to some band stretch that I really would prefer to avoid.
Comexim has the narrowest wires of any company I've tried in this size range so far, with the wires on the Magic Blue sitting directly at the end of ...my root at the top outer edge of the cup and in my IMF the rest of the way.
The cups themselves are a beautiful navy/light royal blue lace (rather than the darker color my photos show) over a black base, and the lace continues all the way around the band over a soft black mesh. The cups are the usual two part bottom, single part upper that seems to be the standard for Comexim in this size range. The lace does wrinkle a little bit no matter what I do or how I have the straps.
The straps are plain black with what I've come to think of as 'resistance stitching', and are the right cross between stretchy enough to give a little and sturdy enough to support the level of projection the cup provides. They are 0.75" wide in an 80E. Adjusting them takes some work, and once they are adjusted they do *not* move. The cups are shorter and narrower than the Geisha, and the measurements are surprisingly the same across both this bra and the Audrey-- 5.75" tall, 5.3" wide-- though I find the fit to be quite different across both bras. This is likely due in part to the difference in cut (plunge vs. balconette). Read more 209 more words
I got this bra as part of a three bra package from another Bratabase user, along with the 80E - Comexim » Geisha (202) and 80E - Comexim » Magic Blue (229) , and initially did not intend on buying it. I'm glad I did, because it actually ended up being my favorite out of the purchase despite the other two being on my bra wishlist for the last few years. This bra is *so* comfortable, I don't want to take it off and have almost forgotten to do so before bedtime on two separate occasions!
Comexim has the narrowest wires of any company ...I've tried, with the wires on the Audrey being less than 1cm from my root at the top outer edge of the cup and in my IMF almost the rest of the way. Unfortunately, the gore is slightly too wide at the very top and sits on a bit of breast tissue, just like... well, almost every bra I've ever tried that tacks at the gore, with the exception of maybe one (the Ewa Michalak Pl Violet (165) in 70H with an extender, back when I wore a 32HH. My research tells me the gore would have been between 2-3" and about 0.6" wide).
The cups are slightly taller than both plunges in the same size, as I expected (6" for Audrey, 5.75" for MB/Geisha), as well as narrower than the Geisha (but surprisingly, or perhaps not, the same width as the Magic Blue) and deeper.
The band itself is a fine black mesh printed with white polka-dots, over a stretchy plain black base like that used in the Magic Blue, and stretches to approximately 33", a nice medium between the 31.5" an 80 band would ideally stretch to and the 34+ that my prior '80' bands from other companies have stretched to. The decoration on the gore is a double ribbon bow, with the inner being a black ribbon with silver stitched edging and the outer being thinner and hot pink.
All in all, I'm super pleased with the Audrey-- enough that for my first direct order from Comexim, I'll most likely be asking for bras that fit like this one does, rather than the plunge cut that I expected to love. Read more 333 more words
I got this bra as part of a three bra package from martka00, along with the @Comexim Audrey and Magic Blue in the same size. This was actually *the* bra that prompted that purchase, having been on my wishlist (along with the Carmen-- anyone got a Carmen in 75/80E they wanna sell?) ever since... well, not *quite* the beginning of my bra fit journey, but darn close-- I actually was exchanging emails with Anna about custom ordering a Carmen when I still wore 32HH.
The other two Comexim bras in this order had the narrowest wires of any company I've tried, so the Geisha ...having such a wide wire measurement really surprised me (and, apparently, the moderation team, as I recently received a request to verify the measurement-- but I can't squish it down below 5.5" without potentially damaging the wire; these are some heavy duty underwires). Once it's on, by some bra magic, they fit perfectly into my IMF. The depth measurement made me worry that it might not fit, but it essentially pushes my breasts in and up juuuust enough that I actually look like I have upper fullness from certain angles. (Spoiler alert if you haven't read my bio or any of my recent reviews: I very much *don't* have upper fullness, despite what the lean test tries to tell me.)
Like the Audrey and the Magic Blue, the straps are plain black with what I've come to think of as 'resistance stitching', and are the right cross between stretchy enough to give a little and sturdy enough to support the level of projection the cup provides. They are 0.75" wide in an 80E. Adjusting them takes some work, and once they are adjusted they do *not* move. The cups are shorter than the Audrey and the same height as the Magic Blue, and the projection and depth is less than both bras. I was actually quite worried that it wouldn't fit based on the measurements, but it fits quite well as previously mentioned.
The band has the same coppery flower lace print used for the cups (obvious) over a gray/silver mesh that feels very nice against the skin.
All in all, this is a beautiful and remarkably comfortable bra, which is finally receiving the same love as the other two as my size has (once again) changed slightly as I continue to lose weight. Read more 292 more words
I bought this bra for my mom, who generally wears a 36C in Victoria's Secret, and measures somewhere between a 34D and 34DD. She is short and narrow rooted. She found the bra to be a tiny bit too tall, and a bit too shallow at the bottom.
I'm glad that you like it :)
