I ordered this custom as a regular plunge, rather than the longline. I also ordered this with straps taken in 2cm, and cups reduced 1cm. At first glance, this bra is modeled after 36GG - Anna Pardal For Comexim » Hibiscus , but I actually found this to fit much better. The cups are typical Comexim plunge, but with the added sophisticated touch at the top of the cup.
Size-wise, the band is definitely tighter, which I've found universally true for black bands on Comexim bras, and the cups are TTS, borderline small. Like most Comexim, the bra is much better in person than online. Of ...the bunch of new Comexims I ordered, this is the best fitting one.
Stands to be said, I can't recommend enough ordering with Jaimie from braobsessed! She is knowledgeable, caring, and quick to respond. There is a slight upcharge for Comexim bras, but the pay-off is being able to return bras, even those that are custom, and I was able to have them ordered to my front door without worry of a needed signature. I will def order from her again. Read more 82 more words
Im waiting for the short version as well ! hope it will work forme:)
martka00 , glad I'm not the only one not going for longlines! I love the look of them, and on other people, but my ribs flare out too much, so it'd be such a pain to get the right fit with a firmer Polish band. Thank goodness Comexim is so willing to customize their bras. :D I hope Rose works for you! I'm wearing mine now, and the fit is so spot on -- firm, but very comfy. And, of course, the print is beautiful.
ginganinja I would love to try long lines but I have office work which requires a lot of siting and working with computer so wearing longline I guess may be bit uncomfortable. But I really hope that it will fit me as they promised to fix it for me as normal 70f is too wide on the sides And also I love the print of it !!!
Well, I recently jumped on the Polish bra bandwagon and bought my first Comexim bra. My bra size has fluctuated a bit this winter and I opted to buy a 80HH Jade padded plunge bra. I'm FOB, centre full, pendulous, projected and I tend to be most comfortable in deep cup bras. I never expected to feel as supported as I do in a plunge bra. This is definitely not a subtle bra, but I love the support and comfort of it. I do not notice the underwires at all, which is so weird to me. It's the first bra I've owned that, when I took it off, ...I wanted to put right back on. My breasts felt way too free without it. I don't even understand how I could want to put a bra back on, but this one gives such great support without being uncomfortable that I want all of the Polish bras now. I'm not sure how it's supposed to look compared to other bras I own (primarily Panache Balconnet styles).
I am not 100% sure I've got the sizing just right. My bra size has fluctuated and I'm currently wearing Jasmine in 36G, but could probable go to a 36FF. Unfortunately my Cleo Hettie and Lucy bras in 36F are too small with a fair bit of quadding. I tried on the Basic Comexim bra in this size as well which had a very similar fit. I did try it with an 85 band, but the gore felt like it was sitting on my breast tissue. With the Jade, if I don't adjust just right, I get a little quadding in my right breast. My breasts are definitely pushed together and while the gore tacks, the top of it does feel like it's being pushed out slightly.
Edited to add: I’ve had the bra for a couple of weeks now and have worn it a lot. It is my most comfortable bra. I need more immediate projection than this bra provides and have buckling of the material under my left breast and the right wire seems to sit in my breast and I can get a bit of quad boob no that side.im going to try a plunge bra in 80J to see if this solves these problems.
I'm considering ordering my next Comexim bra in 80J. Is this bra supposed to fit the way it does on me or should I go up a cup size? When it comes to Comexim bras, which styles would you recommend I try? Do I need to size up or down depending on the style? I'm looking for styles with more immediate projection and deep cups. I've also looked at Ewa bras but am overwhelmed by all the styles and am wondering where I should start if I want to order one of their bras.
I finally took the plunge and ordered directly from Comexim as an X-Mas present for myself, and OH MAN am I ever glad I did so. It took a while to get it (over a month) but it was soooo worth it. This bra fits so well! I had the straps narrowed and the gore raised, and it fits like a dream. Thank goodness for you ladies and all of your reviews on this, too; based on what I read, I ordered a size bigger in the band, which helped a bunch. It feels tight but not TOO tight that it's uncomfortable. The straps fit a lot better too, ...though I still have to move one side up every once in a while, especially if 'm moving around a bunch. I wonder if I can request to have one side moved in slighter more? I'm for sure going to order more, so maybe I will ask and see what they say. Also, this bra is just GORGEOUS. I mean, look at how pretty that lace is?! I feel so great when I wear it. Read more 74 more words
This is a beautiful, vibrant color in person, but it runs tight! The band is small, as is the cup. Overall, I think I will be able to make this one fit, but I will likely wear with an extender at least the first few wears. The construction is similar to Comexim Georgia (292) , with its plush, soft cups, and velvet top lining.
The fabric is very bright, much more in person, but not neon. The birdcage print is super cute, and unexpected in a bra. The shape, because of the very tight band, is great, extremely round and upright.
I agree! The print is unexpected, but super cute. From a distance, it almost looks like owls which I would love (I have owls all over my kitchen), hint to Comexim! ;D
Can you tell me the color of its band and hook? I really want this for a longline if the backband's color is black. Btw the print is so pretty!!
Twoflower , the band and hook and eyes are all black. I think this would be gorgeous as a longline!
ginganinja How is the immediate projection compared to Geisha? Thanks :-)
The perfect bra. Forward projection, upward, rounded shape. Padding is minimal, three part cup is very supportive. Creates tasteful cleavage. Lace lies flat, but is still visible under thin knit shirts. Deep cups allow for my underarm breast tissue to be scooted forward for no spillage out the sides. Firm but comfortable band. Straps are decorated and firm, no stretch here. I typically have fit issues with padded/molded cup bras, as my breasts are bottom-heavy and tend to not fill out the top of the cups, creating a visible lip. I don't have this issue at ALL with this bra- the plunge fit is cut low enough that the cup lays flat against my breast.
I usually wear a size 34E-34F, but sized up to a 36/80 based on reviews. I definitely need a 34/75 in Comexim as the 36/80 is loose even when fastened on the tightest row. The cups seem to run smaller than the basic plunge that I ordered along with this one. This one ALMOST fits, so I’m exchanging it for a 34G(BoB sizing).
This is a very pretty bra and my first custom bra ordered from Comexim. I ordered it with 2 cm increase depth at the bottom for more immediate projection and reduced cup height. It initially looked like a good fit for my FOB, centre full breasts. I didn’t see any obvious fit issues when I first tried it on.
However, although initially comfortable as the day went on I found that the bra felt tight and my breasts felt squeezed even though I initially didn’t see any fit issues. The centre gore gets pushed slightly off centre and tends to lie slightly on my larger breast. As well, I ...noticed when I removed the bra that the wire looked like it was resting on my breast on the outer edge and bottom. There is some collapsing at the bottom of the bra and creasing near the gore. It feels like my breasts are pushing the bra toward the gore and downwards. I find myself adjusting the fit several times through the day.
I want to like this bra more, but do not think I got the sizing right. In Comexim plunges I find the 80J is a better fit for me and am planning on ordering a 3HC bra in 80J with the same modifications to see if I get a better fit. I need more immediate projection than this bra seems to provide and am hoping the next size up will work. Read more 134 more words
I know how you feel. With their padded bras, even with first try on feeling and looking great, by end of day, everything is so......different. Never an issue with their unpadded bras though. I have come to the conclusion I can't wear padded bras due to this. :-/
Sorry your are experiencing issues with this one. :-( I hope your next attempt fares better.
The 3HC don't have very much immediate projection as opposed to the plunge. I think it's more of a ) shape as opposed to a > shape. This might not hold true for your size range, but this is what I've experienced. I hope whatever you choose works out better for you.
But she ordered deeper at the wire which should have corrected the shallow issue. :-/
Thanks for your comments. The padded plunges work for me in 80J, but I need reduced cup height for the best fit. I have Eris and Ingrid with reduced cup height and modified and Elena with no modifications. The Eris has a very stretchy band and fits the loosest, Elena which fits well but I would order it with reduced cup height next time and Ingrid which fits on the small side but still comfortable. I find the band more comfortable in the bras in 80J.
I was hoping asking for the 3HC deeper at the wire in 80HH would give the same immediate projection as the 80J plunge, but the wire isn’t big enough and there doesn’t seem to be enough projection. I am taking a risk and ordering 3HC in 80J with increased depth at the wire in the Basic, Mimi and Sonia in the hopes that I will have a better fit. I like the shape of the 3HC, so am hoping I can figure out what works best for me.
Hopefully your next purchase will be a perfect fit. 🍀
Man, this bra would be awesome if I hadn't ordered it with reduced cups. I've had slight fit issues with other Comexims, and I thought maybe it was the cups being too tall; I was wrong. the wire cuts into the sides of my breasts like crazy, making it unwearable. I also ordered this with narrowed straps (4 cm) and I think that has something to do with the weird fit, as well; perhaps 4cm is too much? I wish it was easier to get these ordered so I could figure out what works best!
I haven't ordered any altered Comexim bras myself (yet), but on some blog reviews I have read, the ladies had the straps moved in 2cm and were happy with that.
The wait for alterations is difficult. I found Tropical Garden shorter than several other models.
Love4Pollinators I was going to say the same- the tropical garden is shorter than other styles.
I love that bra. Sorry it didn't fit. I wish I tried it knowing that it's shorter than the others.
Comexim bras are the only ones I can really order anymore, mostly because of the customizations they offer, which is GREAT. That being said, I ordered this one directly from Comexim, but I don't know if the raised gore and narrowed straps were actually done. The gore seems ok, but the straps are still too far apart. I think I might need to specifically tell them HOW narrow I need them, and possible get reduced cups, since the fabric rubs into my armpits still. Otherwise, these bras are amazing.
The standard move in is 2cm, but I find that somehow moving the straps in 2cm makes them feel farther apart (I'm not quite sure how). I usually request them moved in 4cm, and that works perfectly for me
Oh, good to know! I wasn't sure what the "standard" was; obviously I didn't research it enough. I figure next time I order, I would ask for 5cm; hopefully that's something they can do! Thanks for the info!
I had been wanting to try this bra for some time because I like the geometric patterns. There were only a few sizes left, so I ordered one which I thought would be 1-2 cup sizes too large. So it is unsurprising that it is too large. With the straps tightened and an inset in my smaller side, it doesn't look so large for me, but the fabric buckles and gapes a bit on the cups toward the gore. It still gives me a very high and rounded shape, so I am thinking of keeping it and will certainly consider other Comexim plunge bras in my actual size.
The band is fairly loose even on the tightest hooks. I definitely didn’t need to size up! I usually wear between a 34E-34F and I think a 34FF (BoB sizing) would be perfect in this bra because it does have decent projection.
I think I’d really like this bra, except I should have ordered a different size. Looking at Bratabase, I expected the band to run small. (Maybe I looked at the half-cup by mistake?) Anyway... I ordered 80HH thinking the band would be small, but it’s true to size so it’s big on me. The cups are a little small too (I get quadding after moving around). I think if I had ordered 75K (one band down and 2 cups up), this would be great. I can’t return it to Comexim due to customizations on the straps and the gore height (which I love, dangit!) so I’ve listed it ...on Bratabase.
OK, sizing issues aside... the bra is lightweight but supportive. It works like a neutral due to the background color of the print and the shade of the strap elastic. The foam offers some coverage without being stiff or heavy. The cups and gore are narrow so if you need a narrow bra, this is a good one. At first I wasn’t sure about the print, but it actually is pretty in person. Sort of an autumnal floral feel, if that’s a thing.
I think I’d really like this bra if I had ordered one that fits. Lol. Read more 101 more words
This bra's measurements have been altered
Ordered with straps moved in 2 cm and gore height requested to be 7 cm
Purchased ages ago, but reviewing 12/2018: I have this bra in a 75J also, but this one is a better fit for my current size (apprx 32H/HH UK). I've read that black bras tend to run smaller and I'd say that's true for both of these. I'd like a smidge more depth immediate projection, but it's close enough. It's a nice basic black bra and the blue bow at the center keeps it from being boring. The lace is reasonably discrete under clothing. Band has 4 rows of 3 hooks each and the straps are fully adjustable.
Gorgeous bra! Unfortunately I ordered 80 size band thinking Comexims were all tight in the band and it's loose even on the tightest hook. I just received May 8th, unworn brand new condition
First, a word about the band length: A gentle stretch brings it to about 32" without distorting the cups. A harder stretch brings it out to 36". The result is a bra that feels more like a 75/34 than an 80/36.
Since my Comexim size is 30G|GG/32GG|J, this bra is too big, and it's very difficult to gauge fit. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> But it is beautiful, and I hope to find an Ingrid closer to my size so that I can do a proper review soon.
This particular Ingrid also appears to have had an alteration -- the wire channels are overlapped at the top, which narrowed it ~0.2" according to other measurements.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Center gore has been narrowed -- they're overlapping, which reduced the width by 0.2".
Same issues as other Comexim bras I've ordered from them directly; I'm not sure the straps were narrowed enough. It's hard to tell if they actually did the alterations asked, too, since it doesn't say anywhere in the package when you order. Anyways, this is a pretty, if basic, beige bra that fits everywhere on me but the straps. The wires are narrow and perfect for me; Comexim is pretty much the other brand I can wear now without having crazy underwire problems in the armpits.
Probably true to size. The 80 band fits fine, but the HH cups don't offer me enough volume. I have several Comexim bras that fit in 75J/K, but sister sizing didn't work in this case. It's a very pretty bra with 3-part cups, fully adjustable straps and 4 columns of 3 hooks.
I cannot say enough good things about Comexim, and the amazing bras the brand makes. While I appreciate the unparalleled support Ewa Michalak bras provide, their stiffer fabrics and wires often leave my sensitive skin, particular closer to my arm pit and where the wire ends, irritated by the end of the day. I've never had that issue with Comexim, though. I generally, in some way, notice my bra throughout the day, but Comexim bras are the only ones that I actually forget I'm wearing.
As far as fit and sizing go, after some experimentation with sizes and customizations, I believe a 75J with the standard gore is ...my best fit based on my current size. I initially tried this bra in a 75J, but the band was extremely tight, as it's double-lined, even with an extender. The 80HH in this model has perfect cups, but the band is a bit looser than I'd like considering it's a new bra. I can wear it fine now on the second or third in row of hooks (out of four), but past experience tells me Comexim bands tend to stretch considerably with wear, so I'd rather the band be tighter and wear an extender for a bit. I may also just be in between their band sizes, which is very likely, as I fluctuate between a 32 and 34 band based on the brand and band tightness. My current size is 32H/34GG, and this bra feels like the equivalent of a 34GG.
The cups are incredible. The fabric is extremely soft yet supportive. The shape is exactly what I want in a bra -- projected and round, yet held close to my body. I prefer to keep the perfected EM 'up to my chin effect' for special occasions, rather than everyday office wear. And the looks of this bra are incredibly unique. For whatever reason, I've noticed the bras in their fabrics are brighter and more jewel toned than any other brand I've owned. If you have the patience to deal with slow communication and shipping from Poland, Comexim is definitely a brand worth trying. Read more 244 more words
