I was super excited to receive this bra in the mail today but unfortunately it is far too small. The band barely does up, the cups are only slightly too small, but it's hard to tell when the band size is so far off. I am pretty frustrated, I've fit into 85 bands from Nessa before, they're actually slightly large, and the 80 from EM feels larger than this. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to return/exchange this or try selling it.
It is a beautiful bra, so very pretty, I really wanted it to fit!
I have only one comexim, in an 80 band. it fits like a Ewa Michalak 75.
I have tried 2 mints and they are both tiny in the band! I did wear mine with an extender for about 2 months and it streches out quickely I think. I started with the full extender and now I can wear it comfirtably with only 1 rows extended..
I was so excited to come home to my mailbox today and see the Comexim sent from MommaK. I've been trying to nail down my perfect size because the more I read the more I want to experiment. So far my best fitting is a 80GG EM with an extender. Onto this bra- I love the lacy fabric and bows. Makes me feel quite sexy compared to the few other OK fitting bras lol. As far as fit goes it's a great firm band and I love it. I've noticed I need a 36 and not a 38 for the support. There is absolutely no gapping and ...nothing is digging into my underarms so that is a big win. The wires are perfectly narrow! I really should go up a cupsize though, the more I settle into the bra the more quadding I'm getting. When I look down well, the gore has disappeared a bit lol. I can feel that the gore isn't really tacking at all and my breasts aren't getting the depth they want. On the bright side I have the best cleavage I've had in years! Overall, it's not a disaster on me by any means but I'm very aware that this wouldn't be a working size for me in Comexim. I'm thinking plunges may not be my best friend either but that needs more trial and error. This bra is super super comfortable though and I really do love it, minor flaws and all. Beautiful black seamed bra, lightly padded. For sizing, as I know Comexim is it's own world,,, if it's helpful, I do best in a 36FF to 36G, and the sizing of this 85H seemed pretty comparable to a 36G
Such smooth seams- it reminds me of a molded cup in that sense, but with much better shape and uplift. The underwires on this are heaven to me. It doesn't come as far up into my armpits as others I have tried. Love love.
Unfortunately my soft tissue does not play well with the plunge style and I have funny empty space where the strap meets the top of the cup. I would like to try a Balconette in this size and brand.
This bra was a "test run" with Comexim. Not knowing where to start with sizes, I bought this 85H in a "swap". I wear 34G in Panache and 75GG in Ewa Michalak. I was advised to start with 85 Comexim band because they run small. This band is way too big (tightest hooks and lots of stretch leftover) and the cups are way too big. The gore is too short. Maybe the cups would fit better if the band was snug but it's hard to tell. I may try a 80H but maybe I'll just stick with Ewa Michalak because I love, love, love their bras. =D
I am 100% sure this bra is tagged with the wrong size. I have this bra in an 80J and it fits fine. The 85 is MUCH tighter than the 80 and the cups, which should be roughly the same volume as the 80J, are smaller. If I had to guess, I'd say it is actually a 70J. Ish.
Because I do have this exact bra in a size that fits, I can vouch for the shape, comfort, quality, etc. It's surprisingly smooth under thin/tight clothing. It has 4 columns of 3 hooks. The straps are fully adjustable. The 3-part cups give excellent shape & support. It's pretty.
The struggle is real to find my absolute correct Comexim size. 38HH had issues, some reason thought 38H would work (even ??? myself on that), now trying 38J to see if that will work before customizing reduced cups. The H is just hilariously small on me, I couldn't believe the amount of breast quadding out that I could actually pinch. Thank God for Wellfittings free exchanges!
This is a beautiful bra. I love the teal color with the black lace pattern printed on it, so that it doesn't scratch or show through on knits. The band has a 3 hook column with 4 rows. Very comfortable, well made bra. This bra feels a little smaller in the cup than the T-Shirt basics that I got in the same size. Nicely projected bra that gives good cleavage, and is narrow. Looking forward to getting my exchange in a larger size.
I loved this bra. Well made, padded along the channels, not scratchy material, and comfortable. Even if I did spill out of it everywhere, but I have the larger size coming in exchange. The band is true to size, maybe even a touch stiff. I felt supported and I loved the fact that the band had 3 hooks on it. The gore isn't too tall and neither are the wings, great if you need less height into your armpits. The straps are fully adjustable, but maybe a touch short if you have lower set breasts.
