UK 36D
Trenta is beautiful and very comfortable. It gives me a very natural shape without pointiness, and no more support than I need (I don't need much).
My shape: Short narrow roots, average-to-moderate projection, slightly outer-full and very slightly top-full, slightly wide-set and slightly high-set.
Material: The band is made of the same stretchy lace that is used for the cups (with an additional VERY thin mesh lining in the cups). On the cups, the stretch lace is wonderful, but on the band, it emphasizes rather than hides the rolls I get on my lats from the elastic squeezing. This bra is going to be very cool and ... breathable, but because of the "squeeze rolls," I doubt I'll ever wear it with a top that is both thin and snug. It's surprisingly non-itchy for a lace bra, and I suspect that after I wash it the itchiness will be gone or nearly gone.
Band: Large for a 36. I've got it on the tightest hook brand new; if they'd had a 34 at the same sale price, I would be exchanging. The band is also quite stretchy, in addition to being large... that is, while there is a noticeable difference between wearing it on the loosest hook and wearing it on the tightest hook, it doesn't feel like as much difference between the two as other bras I have. There are four columns of two hooks each. 3/4 inch spacing between hooks (if you're considering using an extender).
Wires: U-shaped and very flexible. The wires are actually too wide for me, but they're so soft and flexible that I didn't notice they were too wide until I felt along them with my fingers. The too-wide-ness also doesn't cause any fit problems in the cup for me, so I'm good with it.
Gore: Very narrow. The wires touch at the top of the gore, the wires themselves are very skinny, and the wire channel is sewn skinny (hugs the wire tightly). Normal height for a demi-cup.
Cups: Unlined. There is a single vertical seam from the apex of the cup down to the center of the wire, and there is a thin, stretchy line of extra elastic running across the top of the cup. Both the lace and the elastic could definitely stretch to accommodate more center- and top-fullness than I have, but there's no gaping or wrinkling. Like I said above, the shape is very natural, giving me a bit of lift and a bit of rounding but not turning my boobs into halfglobes. If you're looking for cleavage in this bra, you better be providing your own.
Straps: Comfortably close-set. They seem a bit longer than most; while I had no trouble shortening them to the proper length, it seemed that I came much closer to "short as they'll go" than I usually do. The straps feel smooth against skin and, like the rest of the bra, quite stretchy. Adjustable only on the back.
