What an incredible bra. I found these (used) a couple of weeks ago. I assumed they were both the same brand, but in taking photographs, learned they are not (the gray one is a Curvation; the black one is a Lily of France). They are identical in measurements and construction, so must have been made by the same manufacturer and sold to the different brand companies.
This is an underwire sports bra, but it is a compression bra as well. The underwires are independent and on the outside of the compression material, so they allow each of my breasts to fit independently into ... the compression material (my right breast is 1/2 size smaller than my left). This gives my breasts the support of the compression material while supporting them from below with the underwires.
This is one of the most comfortable, best fitting bras I have ever tried. The only problem I see with the independent underwire design is the material surrounding the underwire seems to wear more quickly because the underwire rubs against it more that it would in a conventional design, especially on the bottom of the underwire pocket where the compression material covering the prior owner's breasts rubbed against the pocket in this area.
With this design, the gore always tacks perfectly because it allows the compression material to move independently in and out of the interior of the underwire to fit each of my breasts.
